Re: Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?
We went out to dinner with a group and one uneducated was expounding on The Kennedy Centre name change. I nearly lost it, SO calmed me quickly. Memorial to a dead president triggered me.
Then we left for downtown to meet other friends at Music Walk. Beautiful night outside, although next to the river so I put a fleece on.
As we came home my computer was at 99% and then went to downloading Windows at 2% so far. It says to leave your computer on, that it will turn on and off many times. Fingers crossed!
Betrayal, I opted out of a Christmas tree the year my mother died, just didn’t have it in me. Then the following year it was my dad’s passing and again, I opted out. It took a while to even care. Eventually I wanted it back. Even the year I started radiation on 12/26, I needed the tree. I’m glad you were able to put one up, if even just for others.
Haley, I love the pictures. But can only imagine being in that little boat zooming off to a beach!
Cris, if I can’t get the computer set up, I’ll have to decide to fix it or just shelf it.
Carole, good idea on the digital picture frame. I have one in NY and could probably use one here, they’re a great way to see your pictures.
My funny story - during Prime sales I had read a recipe for an apple fritter made in a waffle maker. So of course I bought a waffle maker. HA! Not that I’ll ever make said apple fritter.
Anyway it arrived, I checked it out, put it in my pantry and put the box in the garage, figuring after I tested it I’d throw the box out.
Today I was rearranging a storage area in the garage. Guess what I found? Another waffle maker!
So I grabbed the new one and back into the box it went! It will get wrapped for our neighborhood Christmas party gift swap.
And that’s the end of my day. Hope we all sleep well, meaning you especially Betrayal!
Re: I say YES. YOU say NO....Numero Tre! Enjoy!
Ted Cruz will step up for Kimmel faster than he will for his own wife. No wonder his kids can't stand him.

People say satire is dead. It's not dead; it's alive and living in the White House.
