@Love4All "Let’s just say “that shit works” (pun intended)! I feel like I just prepped for a colonoscopy, but holy cow do I feel better 😂🥳!!" OMG soooo funny! Thank you I needed a laugh today. :-)
@bailey.boo - Yay 3 of 6, you are half way through! You look amazing! Love the hair color choice and your eyebrows!
@bythebay - I started my treatment on 6/24/2024. I had my port inserted 10 days prior to my treatment. I was bruised and sore for about a week. For me, I'm glad I chose to have a port. On my treatment day they cleaned it and numbed it with spray. Told me to to take a deep breath and I didn't feel a thing. Now that I'm healed from having it inserted, I can barely feel it.

Not sure if this will help, but one of my wigs are too big and slides all around. I bought a band-cap combo, and the extra thickness keeps it snug and in place on my head. There’s also YouTube videos on how to sew and tighten the caps— I’ve bought thread, but who has time and energy to sew right now? ☺️
Now I had one wig that was just too small and kept popping off of my head, but I ruined that one in a series of unfortunate events trying to tone down the gold color with purple Rit dye, which turned the cap and part of the front band dark purple so it showed… then I tried to trim the band and accidentally cut the lace front.

Only tossing in the order form on this. How my (not that it has to be so hard at all) the sending entity) address got on the list who knows. This lighter it says even works underwater. Apparently, the Loon wasn't getting enough donations so now his name will be on a lighter.
I, of course, immediately opted for an un-subscribe but I'm not sure how likely that will happen. Normal people would never contribute to the Loon for anything. Other than a one way ticket to Russia perhaps. He has taken so much from us already. Anyway, though disgusted, I did get a bit tickled with some of the over the top salesmanship patter. So, using this form if you should want to read it you can.
Re: how about drinking?
@nativemainer, I had to laugh when I saw the DOTD. I once had a cat called Abby (often known unkindly by relations as Fat Abs) that was a hypochondriac who also liked alcohol - a lot. You couldn't leave any sort of alcoholic drink unattended or she would be sipping/slurping, sucking it up. She also had a thing for perfume - but that is another story.
Re: The husband's and partner's corner
Dropped in to say hi to other men that are along for this journey with their wife.
Although my wife has cancer I suffer with every ache and pain she has. When she is in pain or has worry and anxiety it absolutely breaks my heart. If I could take the pain for her I would.
How do you stay strong for your wife? I feel everything I do for her is trivial in comparison to what must be going through her mind.

Just a break from all the bad news for those of us who are dog lovers!

2 sessions in, my third is on Monday. What are your strangest side effects? Mine was hiccups after the first, everything I ate caused them! Then after the second, an eye twitch that didn't go away, but switched eyes after 2 weeks. 🤨
