Re: Can we have a forum for "older" people with bc?
Puffin, so glad you will be getting the lifter chair soon. It will take a little getting used to, but will be such a big help for you! My DH has one and it is wonderful! I agree with everyone here, your friend is awesome!
Sunshine, our Maverick was named by my kids after Maverick in the original Top Gun. Funny about the connections! Would you believe I must go now because my little Cairn Terrier, Kelce, is scratching at my legs demanding my attention! LOL

Sunshine, my husband’s and I used to show and breed Airedale Terriers. Small world. Our DD learned to walk holding on to the tail of our “girl” we called Rascal. Same dog, if I yelled at her for something it never meant anything to her. She would just wag her tail at me as if to say, “Don’t worry, you’ll get over it!”LOL She would also like to rub her wet beard on me after she got a drink of water! Such great dogs!🐾❤️

@ebfitzy My leg hair and armpit hair FINALLY stopped growing about a week after my second treatment. It’s awesome! No longer do I have to shampoo, condition, OR shave every day 🥳 It takes me longer to squeegee the shower walls afterwards than it does to actually shower 😂 This must be what it’s like to be a guy!

@ebfitzy You mentioned leg hair lol. I don't have much at 66, but I have an ortho appointment on Monday for my knee and had to shave the few I have. They were embarrassingly long! 🤣
Re: I say YES. YOU say NO....Numero Tre! Enjoy!
Absolutely great question and some of us have in fact been asking. Biden had a bad stumble, not a whole lifetime of horrible attributes evil in nature. What the hell is wrong with people and I do mean a bunch of Democrats who should be recognizing the event and then moving to the balance points of it which are almost too numerous to mention.

@Love4All "Let’s just say “that shit works” (pun intended)! I feel like I just prepped for a colonoscopy, but holy cow do I feel better 😂🥳!!" OMG soooo funny! Thank you I needed a laugh today. :-)
@bailey.boo - Yay 3 of 6, you are half way through! You look amazing! Love the hair color choice and your eyebrows!
@bythebay - I started my treatment on 6/24/2024. I had my port inserted 10 days prior to my treatment. I was bruised and sore for about a week. For me, I'm glad I chose to have a port. On my treatment day they cleaned it and numbed it with spray. Told me to to take a deep breath and I didn't feel a thing. Now that I'm healed from having it inserted, I can barely feel it.

Not sure if this will help, but one of my wigs are too big and slides all around. I bought a band-cap combo, and the extra thickness keeps it snug and in place on my head. There’s also YouTube videos on how to sew and tighten the caps— I’ve bought thread, but who has time and energy to sew right now? ☺️
Now I had one wig that was just too small and kept popping off of my head, but I ruined that one in a series of unfortunate events trying to tone down the gold color with purple Rit dye, which turned the cap and part of the front band dark purple so it showed… then I tried to trim the band and accidentally cut the lace front.
