Now wait a minute, lini! You had a beer the other night so you, too, fell off! And I was only doing it for you! Well, no biggie, I'll have one for you tonight!

It was just a little walk alongside the wagon. Needed to stretch my legs, then I got back on. I'll be trotting in a couple of days.

Well, okay, so I am a fallen woman. It's more about the weight than the boozing right now anyway. You're lucky that you don't have weight issues. I was considered obese in my pre-op report. If that doesn't kill your vanity I don't know what will. Now that the boobs are off and I've lost a little weight, I am considered overweight, no longer obese, thank heavens. Geez!! I'm not that big. Just a bit chubby. Well by my standards anyway. My bermudas are size 10 without cameltoe, so they're not tight. Size 8 is perfect for my frame. Want to drop 10 lbs. before surgery, should drop 15. But then my wrinkles will be more pronounced. Then I'll need a PS for other reasons.

lini - you are never alone on this board! I had a couple of beers last night. Didn't want to totally shock my body by not drinking anything after my vaca binge!

It definitely helps the waistline to lay off the booze. In my pre-vaca efforts to lose 10 lbs. I laid off booze for about 2 weeks (also didn't eat anything GOOD for 4 weeks) and did manage to lose 8 lbs. Gained back 4 of it on vaca but it was worth it.

Now I'm back to boiled eggs, salads, turkey breast, boring boring boring....

well Lini looks like i wont' make one night damn, just got the invite to din din with two of my favorites and you know wine will be involved.

The low card wine is not bad, I like it, just the red not the white, by the time I go for my surgery on 8/16, i will be lucky if i'm still under 200lbs, jesus this is horrible, i'm at 166 the hightest I have even been in my life, i'm use to being 125-135, this is not fair I say not fair at all.

I will have to try again tomorrow.

That's okay. Enjoy your dinner. Life is too short anyway.

I hate that all time high thingy. I hate that I weigh as much as I did 9 months pregnant. Not fair, not fair at all.

Oh well, at least we're here and still kicking.

I hear that!!! Captin is my favorite!! I haven't had a drink since I started chemo in April. Oncologist is against my drinking during treatments. One more month left and I am done. I can't wait! I also quite smoking which I also loved and never thought I would quite (3months now). I am also new to this site this is my first message....

Chrissy - good job on no smoking! I'm working at cutting down, slowly but surely. How did you quit?

I'm having my beer(s) tonight - it's been a rough couple days, going back to work after a week + of vacation. What a bummer!

This is just a real downer night, and I'm not sure why. Ronda

I have had 6 oz of red wine the last 2 nights. But it is strictly for medicinal purposes. I meet with the surgeon on the 19th and I dare him to lecture me at this point. He's lucky I have not started smoking! LOL

Hi everyone. What I have been doing is a little different. I pour herbal tea with ice cubes in a wine glass. I tell myself it is wine. You know what,it works.

Hey I might try that. I do think some of my drinking (like having a couple of beers or wine after work) is phychological. Maybe I can trick my little brain into thinking tea is wine. It would be a lot cheaper that's for sure! It's expensive being a wino!

Ok so I went to dinner with the girls, but before I went I did 2 miles on my treadmill, wahoooooooo, so i guess that cancels out the cosmo I had right, ohhhhhh if it was only that easy.

Oh well I will try again tonight.

I might try that tea with ice in a glass and try and trick this old mind of mine, but it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks right?

Randi - Only one cosmo? You did 2 miles. 1 mile, 1 cosmo; 2 miles, 2 cosmos. You're such a good girl.

Chrissy - Welcome to happiest spot on these boards. Congrats on the non-smoking.

Janis - I got off the wagon last night. It's just not for me. It's way too uncomfortable. I'll just walk alongside now. I think that a drink or two every other night or so is a healthy thing. Medicinal, right Cheryl??

Donna/Joie - I tried the ice cube/fancy glass thing and it didn't work for me. Still wanted a real drink with my dinner.

Ronda - Hope that your night got better.

Lini, I was trying to be good. Trust me it was hard.

Chrissy, man that is excellent that you quit smoking, I need to but I love it. I have surgey coming up in 5 weeks and wanted to try and quit before surgery, I might put the patch on for a day before. I suck at trying to give up what I love

Don't feel bad Randi. I suck at that too. Thank goodness I haven't smoked since I was 18. I only have a few vices (shopping, potty mouth, and now my drink or two a day habit), but I enjoy them too much to give them up. They are all under control. Even have the eating in control now for the past 6 months, but can't seem to lose any more weight.

My PS would have killed me! No doubt about it. So do they turn it like with a breach baby? And how in the heck do they do the fills.

And then add me worrying about my PS smelling smoke on me! OMG. I really believe if he was my PCP I would have stopped smoking years ago. He scare me that much lol.

    Im picturing upside down fills.

This definitely calls for a drink.

Okay, Ms. Shel. ARE YOU CRAZY?? Rock gardening 4 days post op. Come on girl. You know better!! Take it easy for a bit. I haven't even had expanders put in yet and my PS told me to stop doing the laundry and vacuuming for 2 weeks when I was still draining at 5 weeks post bilat. Can you imagine what his orders will be when I have surgery?
He better not ask me to give up my nightly happy hour.

Ahahahah febreze. I just love it.

Enjoying my third! glass of wine. Feeling great. Celebrating cause I have a 4 day week-end coming up. I realized today that I have never asked for vacation days just for fun. Over the last year it has always been for me to recover from something.

Gonna have a blast this week-end
