how about drinking?

hey hey,
we had such a smooth and delightful flight. met some cool folks on the plane and I had two drinks. was on a cloud until we discovered that our luggage did not make it. I was upset and was scolded by ssecurity for loudly blowing off a stream of curse words. after getting a runaround for over an hour, I was told that our suitcase was not at the airport. i filled out a form and stormed out. I got a call at 10pm telling me that our luggage was still in AC and will arrive here on an early AM tomorrow.
I did carry on a change of cloethes, (except panties, will just wear bathing suit bottom while I hand wash those in the am. But I am missing deodorant, hair brush and products for hair, toothbrush and tooth paste.
having a hard time typing on my mini,,,also was able to hack into a wireless conection.
Had a wonderful time just talking to my parents.DH took a nap after dinner which gave us great time just talking and laughing, We ended the night with some PB cup ice cream, oh yeah!My mom left the room just as dh was coming out of the bedroom and I wanted to die when I saw Mom in just a shirt, she had taken her pants off and appeared to have no undies but thankfully left them on. DH was very embarassed but we just let it go.I am so concerned over both parents and asking for prayersl....
I shall hit send, ifeel the word theif stalking me. I still have to read today's posts b4 bed and of course pop in the chapel and due some heavy praying....my heart is so heavy now and although I am dead tured, my head is spinning. Sorry to write all about me but thank you goils fir allowing me to express myself,
I will be back tomorra or maybe too night if the tenders cn arrange a massage accompied by a drink in both hands....ahhh! oh, it is also very hot in here, my room is sooo warm......iiii alori, hope it cools down nd s

Kathy, I will be gone from home for 50 days but that includes a couple of days in Adelaide when I get back as I have a doctors appointment the day after I arrive.....lol. I made sure it all coincided so I didn't have to return to the city for a while. I'm sure everyone will have a washer/dryer but I keep changing my mind as to what I need. I keep paring down so I have a bit of room and a bit of weight allowance left to accomodate any shopping I do.....lol. Most of the weight I think will be all the bits and pieces and shoes even though I'm only bringing a couple of pairs. Oh well, I guess this is all part of the fun of the trip!!!
As you suggest Kathy, 4 and 1/2 days to go!!!!
Love n hugs and TITZ UP!!!!!! Chrissy

Oooo Dotty girl are you okay? Did I bump you too hard? Sawry!!! Good to hear that your flight was a dream but dang, leaving you luggage in AC? who was on luggage loading...the smurfs? Sure hope you get it first thing in the AM.
See ya soon!
Love n hugs. Chrissy

You girls are up late tonight! Thanks for the carrot cake tip, Kathy. I have a ton of leftover cream cheese frosting and DD suggested carrot cake... BTW, I just go to foodnetwork.com and look for recipes there so I used Paula Deen's recipe for the red velvet cupcakes. Almost had another one of my missing ingredient traumas but realized the batter wasn't right and reviewed the recipe... it called for 1 1/2 cups of vegetable oil (!) which I completely omitted because that didn't sound right and I wanted to confirm it but then forgot about the oil altogether. Thankfully I noticed before I baked them! I'm going to start checking off the ingredients... is this early dementia?
Claire - had to laugh about your ow-ees. At least you were having fun! I have housework bruises. Wah!
0 -
Gail, I think that's what you call too much on your mind! If it were dementia, you wouldn't actually be aware of it! I'll check out that web site for the recipe.....I keep forgetting that all things are available on the web.......LOL!!!!!!!
0 -
LOL Gail, thank goodness you realized the oil was left out before baking them! Bet they were so yummy!!! I love to search for recipes too, and at Junie's stepdau's house, Junie's son had arranged for that really good bbq from Jack Stack. BBQ ribs, beef brisket bbq, and the best baked beans ever (had some of the bbq brisket in them), so I searched and found their recipe. Tomorrow I am cooking the beef brisket recipe Junie gave me (like BBQ), and then can use some ot it to make the baked beans....yummmm. Hope the carrot cake turns out for you! I love those.
Yay Chrissy, didn't realize it was just 4.5 days....that will be here in a heartbeat! Good idea to leave room for shopping...prices are much cheaper in the US than in OZ, and your money goes further too (exchange rate is favorable to you),
Dang it, DorK, cussing loudly in the airport...sheesh didn't we raise you right??? J/K! I do hope they are bringing your luggage TO your parents house, and it sucks that it didn't make it when you did. Have had that happen many times, and worst when on vacay. Not too bad when on the way home. Yes, prayers for your parents, I know how hard that is to be with them and see a decline. But do treasure all the moments you have with them, while you are there! Glad DH was able to go with you. Maybe you can get in some beach time b4 the hurricane gets closer.
Nighty night,
Kathy

I beat you all with cake, as started off last night with the most delish mini cupcake ever. Peach, with the most wonderful buttercream on top. I went to two parties, one was a wine and food pairing at the local upscale supermarket, and was peach-themed.
Then on to the BBQ here on the roof deck. Had a wonderful time, and the most amazing sunset.
Chrissy.....think all of us are faced with washing clothes, so I would bring less as opposed to more. I have done that when I have done long trips in the past. I try to come home with a suitcase full of clean clothes. Worth it to wash a day before leaving and repack clean.
Hope you have your luggage by now DorK. Hope you and DH get some good time together too.
Kathy....can I show up at your place for BBQ next????
Speaking of packing, I will need to later today as a super early AM start tomorrow. Can't wait to do this ride. Reminder to recharge my camera as will want pix. Should be fun.
I will not be taking my computer with me....a day or two unplugged is not a bad thing.
Will join everyone later for drinks....working on my early AM tea right now. - Claire

Good morning GiRLz. I have new internet.....YAAAAYYYYYYY. It is so fast! Love love love it!
Not going to respond to everyone (hope I can manage that) Gail, I too laughed at the "stall" and glad you are getting your bruises checked. Kathy, you just plain amaze me! Gail, you too! You gals just do so much. DorK, I can see you storming through the airport and cussing. You also should have shouted "where's my people". Sorry 'bout the luggage and hope it arrives this morning, it was probably due to one of us being late, getting tiny to join you. But it wasn't me, I was on time. Kymn, if you can, TAKE A NAP. You will be surprised at how much better you will feel. Chrissy, again....SO excited for you! I do hope you are able to post pictures some how!
My Step Daughter had her surgery yesterday, they did have to open her up. I called the hospital so many times, as there was no one with her. I felt absolutely horrible about that, I had no idea. Had I known, I would have drove down there. Everything I found out, I posted on FB, alot of her friends were asking. Guess who didn't respond? Her sister and her husband! Later talking to her (the one in the hospital) I asked her if her mom knew, she said she didn't know! I just don't understand this family's relationships! Oh well.
Ok, I have been wanting to post this, but had to go digging for it. Finally found it. I just thought it was so funny. It was an email from Junie, from a while back. She was b!tching about some medical equipment and used her own acronym. See if you can figure it out, I laughed my arse off.
My vocabulary ranges all the way from :you
bastard" to...YGDMFAHSOBB......Pancho runs when I get to four syllables!!!!!0 -
Good Morning ladies,
Goldie oh yes I definetly got that acronym lmao in fact I may have used that at some point. I cant beleive no one was there with your step daughter how awful. Glad you got new internet it sure makes a big difference doesnt it.
Claire that sounds like a wonderful evening, you seem to lead such an exciting life, always on the go doing somethin new and different all the time. I love how you embrace life.
Chrissy have a wonderful time, shame you wont be making your way to Canada but how great getting to meet so many of the women here on this site. And dont worry whatever you forget you can just buy here
. If you have your prescription you can get glasses here too in about an hour.Dorothy sorry to hear about your luggage, I always worry about that when I travel and havent had it happen to me yet although I have had stuff stolen out of my suitcase. And they way they treat our luggage OMG its brutal do not ever put anything breakable in your luggage thats for sure. When we were sitting on the tarmac in Vancouver waiting to come home they were loading the luggage into the plan. I was watching and they just throw the luggage around and I mean throw that stuff is bumping off the pavement and slamming onto the conveyor belt wow I think I am going to complain it was that brutal.
Astorm I hate it when you forget something in a recipe I once made a strawberry ruhbarb pie for christmas dinner.....forgot the sugar.....oh booooy was that tart lol.
Kathy if your in the mood for cleaning you could come to my house lol it needs a once over...well maybe even a twice over lol.
Well the support group went alright. It was kind of small but it was nice. I will feel it out again next week before making any decisiions. I think I have a cold coming on trying hard to fight it off with anit oxidens (sp?) and vitimains hopefully I win.
Have a great day girls
Hugs Kymn

OMG that is such a perfect "Junieism"....I know that was hard to go looking for it (I still have not read her emails that I saved)....thanks for posting! And yeah, is that bad of me that I knew what it all stood for??? Soooooo funny!!! Remember "the finger" in the pics? Her DD was not aware of that, and Junie once said she tries to do that in most pics. She was so unique, and so special. I am just glad to have gotten to know her! We were all blessed to have had her with us for awhile. Very glad you have fast internet now....that sounds like reason for a PARTAY!!! Glad your stepdau is doing okay...very strange that no one was there with her. I'm sure she appreciated your concern and caring!
Sure Claire, everyone can come here for BBQ! Of course, this will be "electric imu", as my school used to say....meaning made in the oven. Anxious to see if the beef will turn out. I do my pork roast this way and my bbq is better than the pulled pork bbq at the restaurants. Also anxious to try that baked beans recipe...it was so awesome. OK, now this must be why I keep gaining weight...lol. I need SOME sort of exercize plan. All my covering chairs, etc DOES NOT give me exercize!!! LOL.
DorK, Where, oh where is your suitcase? Hoping it is in your hands by now! DH said the hurricane seems to be tracking right to the Outer Banks right now, and will devastate that area. I camped out there (tent) waaaaaay back when first married....nothing was there but wilderness and it was so beautiful. My feet got all slippery feeling and tingly when we were at the top of the lighthouse there, with just a piece of metal betwn us and the edge. I love heights, but my feet always feel like they are going to slip off! Hoping it doesn't affect Myrtle Beach either and that you can enjoy the beach b4 any bad weather might arrive.
OK, having my cuppa joe, trying to wake up, it was hard getting out of bed today, as I have too much to try to get done. House still needs lots of organizing b4 DD and family arrive tomorrow. It will be great to see them, and it might not be tooooo hot for the triathlon on Sunday. Just don't know how they can swim in the TN River, as I am sure there are snakes there too....maybe all the activity w/ all those swimmers chases the snakes away? They do this on the Arsenal, so not too much traffic, and so many volunteers and military people directing traffic around the racers, so it is much safer than having it in a city. Guess we will be gettting up EARLY on Sunday!
Hoping for a nice day for all you lovely gals here! We do need to have a big blow-out party soon!
Huggies and Lovies, (NO I don't say these things in the real world....LOL),
Kathy
OOPS, sawwry I bumped into you Kymn! Love you mentioning your house needs not only a once over, but a "twice over".....if that is the case, then mine needs a thrice over, at least! Glad the support group went ok, and hope it is even better next week! Get over that cold asap, or we will have to send Jocks over there to take care of you. OH OH, now I know you won't want to get well too quickly, j/k. Take care and rest too!!!

Helloo all!
Oh DorK, I'm sorry about your luggage. I think it sounds like one of those last straw type deals - I know that AC airport and they missed your luggage..... how? I mean really that airport is tiny. I agree it must have been all us wee ones climbing in for one last beach hurrah! I'm sorry about your Mom! I remember those days of worry ((Hugs)). So what is the weather like, rain? Wish we had some rain here.... planted a beautiful cherry tree in my front yard last year and all of a sudden dead as a doornail! Then ivy that was doing beautiful - dead! What is going on. I have a well with sprinklers so that isn't the problem.... hmmm?
Kymn - hope you find the support group supporting! I haven't ever done well with groups, I think I'm just too shy to "share" with a group. Well unless it is you guys of course but you all are friends so that is different!
Lori- I can NOT imagine her immediate family not being there especially her husband and Mom, sister.... that is awful.! Poor girl. I'm so glad she has you! Maybe she will now realise she has someone on her side that in the very least she can talk to.... families can be awfully odd.
Kathy- oh yes a pictures of the chairs, please...... can't image upholstering..... maybe we should add Jackie ( instead of Jack of all trades) to the Risky. So it would be Risky Whisky Jackie... hmmm that doesn't flow well...
Oh Chrissy! Wow you will be here in a heartbeat!!! What a wonderful trip and I'll try for that morning pop over to the airport. Will have to see about alternate routes as morning traffic can be a bear. Should I go ahead and PM my number to you now or wait till you are closer on your way. If it was me I'd lose the numbers....
Gail - I think that is correct if you know you can't remember things that is much better than not knowing you are forgetting. Wow, that came out as a weird sentence. The cupcakes sound wonderful! I just saw a recipe for a carrot cake type cake made with apples and a tiny bit of chocolate all the good spices and a brown butter frosting.... Ugh, shouldn't even be looking I have GOT to lose weight. The final concert with my music director is Oct 9th and no way can I fit into my skirt and I refuse to buy another one! So I'll live cyberlly through your recipes! I use All Recipes a lot as I like all the personal reviews and you can ask stupid questions on their buzz section and real chefs will answer you and very quickly.... as you might imagine, I use that quite a bit LoL!
Better get doing something.......

Stanzie, the step daughter in the hospital is not married, and her sister and her husband live in CA. But he is the one that posted about her having emergency surgery. Now her mother is down there, I am not exactly sure where, but I don't think any more than an hour away. The girls do talk to me, more than their own mother. In fact they call me first!
If we add more to Kathy's name, we won't be able to remember it! Risque' Wisque' Raquel Jacque' of all Trades!
I love looking for recipes online and end up at Food Network a lot. We also get the magazine.
Kymn, I hope you can nip that cold. Good job on the vitamins, make sure you have some Vit. C and Zinc.

Whoa girlz, no accolades here! As Gail knows (and lots of you, also), redoing DR chair seats is not upholstering....just a matter of getting patterns straight and taking it off and stapling. I did upholstery waaaaay back so I am pretty careful on the corners, but the hard part was being on the floor and my back hurt sooo much! Not really rocket science (they say that a lot here, with all the rocket scientists here! lol), and easier than most people think, if haven't done it before. I do like adding "Jackie" as that was my late DH's name, but yeah, mucho too longo of a name for that! Trying to organize my "office" room....losing the battle.
Ciao!
0 -
Well since Everyone here...other than moi, is so good with initials well, Kathy you might end up with some initials then in another 50 pages or so we will all be trying to guess and remember your name LOL!
Lori - well good I thought there was some husband in there somewhere.... glad her Mom is there but that is too bad they had such a rought time relationship wise, still glad they have you.
0 -
Ok, you guys are technically orientated.... so my ex husbands mother's partner asked me for some pictures of the kids. I had assumed my ex was keeping her up to date with pictures but apparently he told her he only has picture on the computer so he can't help her.... booo not the right answer. So I want to send her some, yes mine are on the computer as well but as I'd like to send her a bunch, what is the easiest way of doing this? Printing them on my printer will take years and use up so much ink thinking that isn't the best. So IF ( big if) I can transfer them to a CD, can I take them somewhere to print out? If so..... where? I spend three days trying to find a place to develop my son's disposable camera and they did a terrible job not to mention they are about 45 min. away so do those machines in drug stores do that? I've never really looked at them but have seen them there.... anyone know? Thanks!
0 -
Oh sorry one more question.... what kind of CD does one use? all those R R+ R- RW mean absolutly nothing to me...... grrr. Thanks!
0 -
Hi Stanzie, Just my 2 cents, I am sure someone else here will have better tech info. I have taken CD's to CVS and printed them out on their machine, also made some nice videos with the still pictures....you can add music, etc., and they zoom in and out and make it look professional. Has been over a yr since I have done that, but I think any CD you have that will respond to your computer, will work at the drug store machine. Do you have any at home? Hmmm..just checked, all the ones I have are CD-R and my DVD's are DVD+R; have worked for me, so hope it will work for you. OTHERWISE you can download them from your computer to a flash drive or SD drive, or your camera SD card, and their machines take that also, and can print on paper or make a CD of pictures for you to send to them. OOPS...DH is leaving for dr appt again, and I have some returns to get ready for him. CHAIRS!

RW means re-write. Meaning you can erase what is on there and put something else if you want. The other "R" Once you put something on it, that's it, the disc is done. No adding, no deleting. Those are usually cheaper too.
Mitch, step daughters mom was NOT there, she just lives closer than anyone. Maybe an hour away. But I don't think anyone even told her that her daughter was having surgery. Altho my step daughter has her her Aunts as friends on FB, so you would think they would tell their sister, that her daughter is having surgery. (Mom does not have FB, and rarely even checks email)
Lots of options for your pictures Stanzie.
0 -
Thanks got the pictures done ... ok that was actually too easy. I couldn't find any pricing on Picasa so went with Walmart as they had the best price. I'll assume the quality is good - her eyes aren't the best so it should be alright. But I chose only clear good pictures too. Can't believe my ex hasn't done this for her as it really was too easy now that I know what to do. And he is really great with technology! hmmm?

Dropping in for Pau Hana and sharing my hummingbirds. So everyone grab a lounger, or a swing, or a hammock, out in the garden and don't forget your drinks. In fact......get one for each hand!

Grabbing two and plunking down in a lounge chair next to Goldie

WOW, Lori that is AWESOME!!! You have SO MANY hummies at once! We have the exact same feeder, in fact I was watching one, on ours, drinking, then sitting on the shepherds hook and wiping off its beak, right before coming here and seeing your video\. Looks like you had some ruby-throated hummies in the mix? We mostly have those, BUT only have 3. AND even though we have the same feeder, usually only 1 will drink at a time (unless 1 is on the other side and they can't see each other). We always have "Atilla the Hum" as they always chase each other away. And they can get vicious too! That is soooooo neat! I will show it to my DH as he is quite the bird fanatic, and keeps all our feeders full. Thanks so much for sharing, and just in time for Pau Hana!
Stanzie, so glad you got your pics ordered! I have been working with pics all afternoon (and last night). Tried to find as many copies of my mom's paintings, as possible. Both my girls have some too, so got them to take pics and email them to me. I have several here, myself. BUT she has given so many away over the years, and does not have pictures of them. All I could find pictures of, (from looking thru tons of pics that she took at others houses, etc) were about 30....so I decided to reprint them really nice, on matte photo paper (have used 1 1/2 color ink cartridges already as I had just changed it), and will take them to get them bound with a coil put on the top,so she can open them and look at all of them. Her birthday is coming up soon, and I think she will like this, as she always wonders what she has done in the past. And I might get her a bottle of Chivas too, as she usually gets cheap scotch but really liked the Chivas at the casino! Oh, glad i am telling you this, as I realized I forgot to print one out...she had done a large "Blue Boy" when she was a teen or 20 or so....and my DD has that one. Most of hers are seascapes and landscapes (of Hawaii mostly). Meant to get it bound today, but trying to clean house, too.
Oh, Junies BBQ beef brisket is smelling soooo good....glad she shared that recipe with us awhile back. The entire house smells like BBQ right now!
Having a dwink and thinking of Lori's amazing flock of hummies, and our dear Junie, too. Glad you are here too, Kymn! Dotty, sounds like SC will not have to evac? At least you are there with your parents, in case the weather gets bad. How long are you staying there?
ChEARS!
Kathy (I mean Racquel Risque Wisque Jackie, umm Leather something or other....ummmmm)

Yikes......looks like the hurricane is tracking right to the NE and right through New York City! Does it look like it might affect your area, NM? How about you DorK? Shows it coming thru Atlantic City, and I guess most of NJ. Hope it will lose a lot of its punch, or veer way off into the ocean instead!

6 month check up with onc today...uneventful visit....just awaiting labs that were drawn right before appt...they mail results.....next appt is in 6 months....DH commented after appt...."waste of time"....I was thinking the same thing even before I went...Onc is the only doc I still see...stopped seeing PS and BS....seemed silly to see BS when I was seeing onc every 3 months.....
I hope all the gals on the east coast are out of harms way......I hope Hurricane Irene looses its punch before it hits land....

Dotty, sure hope you got your bags and I'm hoping that the storm turns and heads out to sea. This is so scary!!! for all of you!!!!
Stanzie, you can PM the number now if you like as I will put it into my phone straight away so it won't get lost. It would be good to see you if you can make it!
Goldie, glad to hear the your step daughter has come through her surgery okay but it's such a shame that there was no-one there with her. That can be so frightening!
Kathy, you sound like a girl after my own heart with all the things you do and I once did. As you say Upholstery is hard work and if you don't have the right benches for thing to rest on, extremely har on your back.
Kymn, glad to hear that the support group went well for you.
Claire, I think I've packed and unpacked, whittled down and put back at least half a dozen times and I'm about to do it again....lol. It's hard to pack for hot and cold and not overpack for either!
Karen, glad you got the all clear!!!! Hope everything is going okay for you.
Well girls must fly as there are still a lot of things to get done before I head off.
Love n hugs to all. TITZ UP!!!!!! Chrissy

hi girls, luggage got here at 2:30 pm today. and yup stanzie, odd how a teeny tiny airline could forget to send my bag when we chececked in in plenty of time and it ws a short and direct flight...i like flying out of spirit air but still wonderder how they lost my bags, the clowns. must be dwunk... ok, had a great day, we rode the golf cart around several times, went to the grocery store and alos had great time outdoors talikng with mom an dhd. My dad was tired so went to bed early. oh, we had to come clean about the last night where we are staying at the marriot as they we told by a fibber, me, that we would be flying out of Sunday when we are really flying on monday. bcuz of the hurricane, we still may be delayed getting back to ac since that is where the hit is supposed to happen. i am blowing hard to kick that bitch out to sea.
sorry for the typos, i am typing in the dark, using my mini which is tough.
Nice to see you dear karen. i hope life goes up up up the hill for you.
kahy, aka jomt-rw-rawuel, you are something.
well anothter sorry, gotta roll, so much to say but i must sleeeeep. it took me 45 min to catch up after just one day. love you gals. forgive the non-edited post by yourrs truly, DoK CHEERZ! hitting send and wondering how bad this is...

Good morning, Loungettes! I was so tired yesterday that I got up and put Sadie out, fed her, and fell asleep in the recliner until noon. Of course, it may have been the flexeril my PCP gave me for the muscle spasms I'm having in my shoulder and neck, too. BUT, the pain in my arm is a lot less, and I slept like a log Wed night and last night. Yeah for sleep!

Claire-a peach themed party? Wow that sounds wonderful! I can just taste that cupcake! Enjoy your unplugged trip, and bring back lots of pictures.

Goldie-FAST is GOOD! Yeah for you! It took me a minute but I got the acronym-pure Junie! How could the family leave the girl alone at the hospital like that? I simply do not understand that.

Kymn-I'm glad the support group was ok for the first visit. It's good you're going to go again. It takes a while to figure out if a group is a good fit or not, present group excepted. I've heard that soaking in the sun can help move a cold along. My grandmother used to mix baking soda in some molasses and give us a spoonful of that every so often when there was a cold in the house. Not sure if it worked or not, but who knows?

Wahine-Can I join " the house needs a once, twice or thrice over" club? I have got to get to it before 4 pm when I go on call, cause I won't have time over the weekend!

Stanzie-I'm so excited for you and Chrissy getting together. I'm sure you both will have a blast!

STanzie-check out the Walmart website, I think you can e-mail pic and they will print or put on a cd. I know you can take the little memory stick from your camera to many stores, pop it in the machine and print out pictures. About the RR+R RR+W part, no idea. Oops-looks like you already got that figured out. That's what I get for getting behind!

Wahine-the hurricane is still too far out to reliably predict for Maine just yet. A lot of hurricanes change direction when they hit land, and they break up at different rates. So far the weather guessers are saying we're in for gusty wind and heavy rain starting Sunday. I'll be keeping an eye on the forcast this weekend.

Karen-Hooray for a good 6 month checkup. I'm surprised they didn't have the labs ready when you saw the doc. Waste of time is right if that info isn't needed for the appointment. What a pain (pun intended).

DorK-Hooray for found luggage! And non-edited posts are fun to read! And "sorry" is NOT ALLOWED! Have a good time!

Well, ladies, Sadie is begging for a walk and since that would do me as much (or maybe more) good as it does her I'd better give in. Talk to all you ladies on Monday. If I don't check in it will be because the wind and rain have taken out my power, which I am pretty much all set up for-just got to empty and refill some water jugs and move some outdoor stuff in. Doing my winter storm prep early this year, it's all pretty much the same thing. Just heard another weather update, rain and gusty winds for Sunday, supposed to be the remnants of Irene, but still not certain. That reminds me, better put my raincoat in the car while I'm thinking of it.

Hi Kymn, thanks for sitting next to me. You don't mind if I rub your head do ya?
Karen, so glad your appt was a "waste of time". I love that, and think we should all use that. Congrats and I hope your next visit in 6 months will be a waste of time as well.
Kathy, I just love our hummers. That is my small feeder in the kitchen window. I have the larger version of that feeder as well. Twice as big. I think 2 cups in the small, 4 cups in the large. Well I can put 2 large and 2 small on the back side of the house, all four on the same hanger, and they will empty all of them in just a little over a day! You photo album for your mom, of her paintings is such a great idea. You have such a creative mind. I guess that is why you were a decorator!
