    Hey chickadees,

Happy MONKEY-dey, Yippee, love that work. Thanks Gail for coming up with that. you all know how I dislike this first work day of the week.

That was some party last night, boy was a dwunk. I really did start drinking JD and diet near 3pm and did not call it a night until after 11pm. Somehow, I got to work on time, left for my pre-op appointment then came back. I will be working through lunch and also staying an hour late to make up the time I lost at the docs office. Stinks that I got there on time yet waiting 45 minutes.  I got news that I did not like but have to remember the BIG PICTURE is what is important.   I asked about timing out of work and he said if they do surgery type 1, decompression of the nerve, then out of work up to six weeks. If they do type #2, transposition, then up to 12 weeks, yikes! Well I do not have twelve weeks as I need to be back for two weeks to go back out for my exchange surgery on 12/20.  Can't wait for this to be all done then get back to life and hopefully making some mean money!!

Kathy, glad you were not speeding when the cop hit you with his radar, yikes. I hate when that happens. I have a lead foot myself (ask Chrissy) but since I do not venture far, I usually get out of tickets, have not had one for over ten years.  I have had the police officer twice pull me over and give me a warning but since I am a local, they let me go. And it is not like I am really going fast, just at 32 or so in a 25 mph zone. I don't blame the police in keeping the side roads safe too.

Allison, you were a lot of fun last night despite joining us late. Your pics are great. And I just figured out how to upload pics from Fb to BCO and did it while dwinking. GO ME.
And I agree with Kathy, you are very attractive. I am also praying for good results on your blood count. Hope to hear something soon.

Scuby, sorry for all the crud with work. That stinks on a Sunday. They should give you the week of for that. Just sayin.....hope you are having a good work day.

Speaking of, I better get back to work my darnself. Thinking of you, Kymn and hope all is going well as can be. Pop in when you can.

    Cheerz, ma ladies.

DorK, looks like ya bumped Kymn. Great to see her however briefly. Taking a 5 minutes sanity break in the middle of continuing crud. My folks busted butt all weekend for no thanks at all. Good thing I am nice and bought them lunch!

Kathy, I have the ultimate speeding ticket avoidance method, don't drive! Took a bit but have gotten so used to it now. Plus we have an hourly car share and Avis and Hertz when needed.

Beautiful day in Philly today, would like to just walk forever in the sun. Allison, am praying the sun is shining on you too!

Well, 2 more meetings before time for PH! I may not be in the HTL late, but I will be bellying up early! Will be knocking wood on the bar top, still no noticeable SEs from the tamoxifen, fingers crossed! Cheers ladies!

Just stopped by for a QUICK dwink, I mean like with a funnel down my throat quick.  Been working all day outside and doing so many different things I ain't even gonna list em (think it would get me even more tired if I thought of all I did today). BUT, wanted to ask a question....Do you think it is time to stop working when a mole runs over your bare foot??? LOL. Really! I was painting a window sill I had repaired, between the spa and the house and a rodent ran by.Of course I yelled  (DH is running errands), both dogs came running, and ran right past me, up on the deck. I kept calling them back, the mole even ran right in front of them! They didn't even see it and i guess it scared them that I was yelling.  So I had to kill it (don't even ask how)....soooo gross. So I figured that was a good time to stop working and come in. Don't you agree??? Actually I just googled it to make sure it was a mole and not a mouse! Tried to do so much today and yesterday as it is supposed to rain (maybe storm) tomorrow, then get super cold the next couple of days. Today was in 80's again and bootiful!

Gotta wash my hair, shower, etc., then go to my parents. Was supposed to be there "This afternoon", but it will prolly be more like just in time for happy hour! Will ketchup later girlz....anxious to hear if Allison's WBC counts were ok today! And hoping Lori is having a good trip.

    Ciao for Niao!

Sorry late to the lounge, had more work bumps tonight, hoping things settle down, kind of dragging, hoping just from life not tamox SE, but no hot flashes yet. 5 days in, not sure when to expect it.

Well crap, Pants need something to beer me, I mean cheer me, how about an Ithaca Brewing Company Flower Power India Pale Ale? Cheers, Luv to all, hope a good night to all.

Oh Allison.  So sorry and a big hug going your way.  Just so not fun.

Nothing major here to report other than got out the stuff I intended to today and backed up my system.  That one is a major step forward.  After all, I bought the external HD.

I am having some wine in anticipation of dinner.  Leftover lamb shank.  Life is tough.  Plus fresh beans and roast potatoes.  Last of buttercup squash to round out things.

Allison....being Grade 1, most likely pain resulting from treatment, so will keep this thought until proven otherwise.  I ached a lot during Taxol.  Having your counts tank only makes things feel a lot worse.

    Better days are ahead.

Caught up with a friend of mine today.  Had a marzipan/pastry cream "potato" at the Norwegian bakery.  YUM.  Then sampled creme fraiche/clotted cream at the Met Market demonstration.  Need to have a real afternoon tea w/scones and clotted cream.  Winter is a lot more fun with a few of these indulgences.

Plus miles and miles of cycling to work things off.

Need to check on the vittles. - Claire

Scuby, we bumped and only by a minute. I will also be saying prayers at noon. I emailed my darnself to set a reminder on my work calendar. I believe in the power of prayer.

Gail, cute kitty. I hope Allison is able to feel our loving thoughts coming at her.

Wahine, mahine machine, sorry about the mole crap. I think my blood pressure would rise if I went through that. And yes, it is time for you to stop working.  I wish you could spend these beautiful days chillin' in the sunshine, cold drink in hand and the man of your dweams next to ya...the rest of the story is yours but I hope you live happily ever after.....

Morning Loungettes! Quick check in before work and hoping a great day for all of you. DorK, you totally reminded me of the mole incident, sorry Wahine, forgot. A couple years a go we had a leak in our hot tub at the beach house in Delaware, it's at ground level. When the guy came to service it, took off a panel and some critter had nested and given brith to more critters. When the panel came off, all hell broke loose. Guy apparently dropped everything and ran, leaving tools and hot tub in disarray. We arrived after that before the guy calmed down and returned. Based on the poop in the space, was a good sized critter. Did get the service call for free! Now in the city, the only critters are squirrels and rats in the subway!

NM sorry about your stupid auto, what a pain in de ass! Will look forward to your next post as
I am sure you will have graphics (and graphic language?!)

Aliison continued hugs and prayers for a good day today.

Oh well, finish my PT for the morning and onwards.

NM, sorry about the car. That just stinks.  Sending you a bloody mary, and a shot.

Scuba, the time to prayer for Allison is 1pm our time, checked my time zone chart and she is an hour behind us.

I overslept again today, wonder why lol. I can rationalize staying up late anytime and told myself last night that I will catch up on sleep in the OR on Thursday. I am paying for it this morning. I took my meds without enough in my stomach and they are kicking back at me and giving me nausea. Hate rushing, I could not find any of my slacks last night. Started looking again this morning and found them in the laundry, unwashed. Oops thought I washed them. No pantyhose to wear a dress so wearing slacks that are too tight. Thankfully the long sweater covers most of the bulges.  I ought not complain though. I am alive and well.

Hoping you all have a good day. Onward and upward.  CheerZ girls.

good morning, woke up crying again today this really really sucks. Why am I only remembering the good when there is so much bad to remember too? I just dont get it. Going to the dentist this am while I am still on his medical insurance I am sure that will be cut off soon. I am tired of begging him to talk with me. He is so cold and cruel dont know why I keep putting myself through this. My DD is sad I wish he would have talked to the kids its one thing to walk out on me but those kids.....what an ass.

    Have a good morning all

Well, just left hospital. They injected dye in arm, said come back in two hours for scan. DH took day off to take me, so we drove a few doors down from hospital to Hooters while we wait. They said nothing I ate oregano could mess up test, so having an Amber Bach right now. That with the extra Xanax should do the trick. My friend is anthesthesiologist at hospital, and should be able to get in computer and give me results today. Will keep you posted. Sorry you're going through all the bullshit Kymn. Hang in there. I'm sure you're sick of hearing that, not like there's a choice, right? Will post later when I know more.

NM - sorry about your car. Mine has become needy also. I've decided to go ahead and fix the transmission and try to get another year out of it though I doubt I'll be in any better position to replace it next year. I had Pants mix up a special Frangelico coffee for you.

Duchess - LOL! I can just picture the technician freaking out. I once did a barter to get my heating ducts repaired. A rather large technician was crawling around under my floor and his boss was in my office getting some software training. The tech saw 2 big yellow eyes... he screamed like a girl and then tried to retreat quickly. The crawl space under our house is very small and he hit body parts on joists all the way out. It was only a cat enjoying the free heat from the torn ducts. Here at the lounge we've had tiggers in the hot tub...

DorK - I overslept too - WD had a bad night - but I suspect YOU had a little too much wodka maybe? LOL  Pants has mixed up some hair-of-the-WD for us. Join me?

Kymn - oh dear. I suspect he is feeling guilty, as he should. My pig neighbor (the one who cheated on terminal bc wife and then married the hoochy) may be moving out. I think he has gotten the picture that no one in the community wants him around. They are having their house tented and he didn't bother to make arrangements for the cat. Not surprising as he hasn't bothered to speak to his daughter in the past year. Men like to think they can "compartmentalize" ... put it in a box, in the closet, and forget about it. Maybe you can visualize doing that yourself. Here is a box for you...

Allison - I prefer liquid courage myself. Drank a split of French champagne in the parking lot before my MRI... en cristal, bien sȗr! Enjoy your Bach.

I'm making a custom sweater for WD... love the little bugger even tho he kept me awake last night.wurstwarmer I've made this one before... it's like knitting a sock with gussets for the chest and backend. This is a model but looks like WD. I made it in blue last year so this time I'm using a varigated yarn with orange, teal and purple.

Allison (the oregano was confusing in your first post, cracked up when I saw the spell check error! Fingers crossed. despite DorK's fabulous knowledge of geography, could only hit church @ 12 my time. Can't hurt.

Gail, luv the tigers in the tub. I think WD's are awesome, our first neighbors had 1 named Hootie that would break out a visit us a lot. Sweater makes sense, they are kind of close to the ground!

Kymn, keep focusing on you and what you need now to keep moving. This totally $ucks for you, wish there was something easy to fix it. Prayers continue.

Oh well, time for PH, actually a bit late I would say. Feeling autumnal, Pants, I will have a hopping Frog Brewery BORIS (Bodacious Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout). Cheers ladies!

YAY Pau Hana time.....finally! Been on the go all day, sorry didn't get to check in with you all earlier. Kymn, that sucks big time! What an A$$ to not even talk to the kids. Boy, will that confuse them big time on relationships. Good thing they have a super-duper mother (you)! One of these days, you will remember the bad times and what sadness he has caused you. As it is, you gotta go thru all this $hit before being able to heal from it. Come here more often; we love you!

OK, who started this car problem mess??? We took the truck in this afternoon just for an oil change since DH is going to TUnica tomorrow. OMG now our brakes are bad, the wheel bearings are bad, etc., etc.....big moola, but DH just told them to do the brakes for now. Need to check around, for all that they said was wrong. Everyone LOVES my truck....1990, big 350 engine, I bought it in 92 and it was like new. Now it is DH's vehicle since we gave the Taurus away! I get the newer car....duh? We have been running all day.....took the dogs for their "spa day", with massage wash, ears cleaned, and nails trimmed. The guy brought them out with Halloween bandanas around their necks, and they got a goodie bag, with treats in Halloween bags! So sweet, so I tipped the guy that took care of them, and he was surprised(?). I thought that was supposed to be normal, but then again I usually wash them myself, and I REALLY appreciated not having to do that! Lots of other errands......

.....and Gail I am making your wild rice salad right now. In fact the rice is almost done...got it at the health food store, so doesn't have all the salt crap in it. BUT I just cooked 1 c, and then I bought fresh cranberries and just put them in raw???? The oranges were a pain to get out of the membranes, but I think that is what you do. Right? I will be putting it all together in a few minutes. Can't wait, as I am sure it will be YUMMY!!!!! That sweater is soooooo cute!

Allison, any results yet??? DorK, we will all get in the bus on Thursday EARLY so we can be with you during surgery. I sure hope your recovery won't be as long as the dr said. Yikes!

Joining Lisa in the hot tub (hers.....as who knows if we might have critters nesting under ours! Yikes that was scary!!!! And also trying some of the yummy premium beers she keeps bringing to the HTL.....

    ChEARS!

Kathy - ut oh... I usually put in dried cranberries. Fresh would be good too but you might want to cook them first ... maybe in a little orange juice.

You inspired me! I'm going to give my corgi a spa treatement (bubble bath and heated towels).

Princess Glitter Sizzle (NM), Hope you had that nice drink that Gail posted for you! What a bummer....why did the car have to be towed in again? Did they miss something? So frustrating!!!! I think we need to add a gorgeous hunk of a guy auto-mechanic here at the HTL. Then we can bring our cars into him, for FREE repairs!!!!

My DH always kids me that I will have a big party when he is away, or have several guys coming over, etc. So, I just go along with it without skipping a beat. He asked me today if I needed any "party favors" for my big party when he is in Tunica. I quickly said "No, they bring their own. And even if they just come in their birthday suits, they still have their "party favors" with them"....LOL. Then he calls before he arrives back home, so I have time to get "the guys" out!

Sooooo needed this Pau Hana!!!! WIll be picking the truck up around 9 pm......

    Cheers Dears!

    Hi LadieZ.....

My o my, enough to give all of us good reason to keep imbibing.  I have some great news.  Got the final accounting for the IRS return in question, and my bill was $0.00.

This, plus an apology.  It doesn't get any better.

My brand new eBay cycling tights fit too.

Waiting for my chocolate bread and butter pudding to finish cooking.  Taking to the potluck bicycle club meeting tonight.  Had chocolate everywhere, but not the worse of fates.

Will join all of you later. - Claire
