De only time I ever got my a$$ hit with a belt is when I went on a scissor fest, I was probably about five or six years old. I cut up curtains, my bed spread, clothing, you name it, every and anything in my bedroom got cut. Ooops, I got de belt for that one and me tinks I never did it again. Dat is until last night. Me tinks I need anudder spanking. And me heard dat Mr. Big is coming to de party and has already found a fine lampshade. I will take a pixture but need to find me camera. Dat is because I dwowned my cellular device which uses to take de pixtures of tings dat I wanted to photograph. But ya see, de water bottle dat I put in me purse had a loose lid. De rest is history.......

uhh, yeah, mese dwowned me cellular, lost off me contacts too. I was surprised that it took a crap because it was in a side pouch of my handbag. it happened in the moring on my way to work. I immediately took out the battery and left it in the sunlight of the car. I then put it on my heater when I came home at lunch and then hit it with a blow dryer in the evening. When I turn it on, I get some cwazy message that it is programming and will shut down. And it does, the mo fo pos telephone. lesson learned, once I bwake de seal of de water bottle, check for leakage b4 throwing in my purse. such are de lessons of life. bwing on de pinking shears, I am ready to git cutting!!!! mese still werking, oh mese oh mise.

I guess I wasn't the only one who loved scissors. When my brother and I were 5 and 6 we decided to give each other haircuts-the day before my sister's wedding-and we were in the wedding party. My mom was not pleased,lol. We never got the belt however she was fond of switches. She'd take a good one off the tree,take the little leaves off and we'd get 3-4 hits. Stung like hell and left red marks on our legs. We hated that tree! Well girls i'm going to miss another good party tonite,have a killer headache. Someone has to drink for me. Cheers!

Saw my ONC - ok so far we've done, Norco, then Oxycodone, and now she's decided to try Methadone.......umm I feel more like an addict than a cancer patient at the moment, lol. She thinks it's the pain meds that are causing the nausea, not so much the chemo, but need the pain meds cause the shots cause soooo much flipping leg/hip pain. Good new: she says NO RADS for me. After last chemo I wait three weeks then right in for surgery-done!!
OK- FINALLY got a copy of my pathology report-can you girls PLEASE help me decipher this info?

I spent the day out side again, but was careful not to over do it! DH got a fire going and I cooked some spuds in the coals. I tell ya, they are so good, you could make those taters your meal! But, we had steaks to go with it. I know, I know, I went off topic....but they were SOOOO YUMMY!

Tied, it WAS Claritin and some were taking Aleve with it as well. Before and after the chemo, for a few days. But I would ask your doctor first, just to be safe. I also see where some took L-Glutamin. I took that, but was told it could help with neuropathy, which I escaped!

Tied, Lori is right about the Claritin. I tried it, with no luck, but others swore by it! And seemed like pain pills helped some, but it was getting up or sitting down too quick that really brought on the pain, even on the pills! So move slowly, K? Had also heard u can put a bar of soap in a pillow case at the foot of your bed, under the sheets. Don't know how in de hell that works, never tried it, but heard that later. I did goodle it though, and was amazed at the people who swore by it!
Undy, hope u have no headache today. I thought of u yesterday, I have an iPad case that I bought from Brighton. It's in their Fashionista line. Anyway, there is a picture of a girl on it, and I have had this case for a few months. Just yesterday, I looked at it and realized it was your profile pic, with long hair! I swear, u have to see it. Go to Brighton's website, find the Fashionista line, and look at the iPad case, K? So Undy, u go where I go! LOL! Check out the purse too, saving my $ for that one

Oh, and u goils were talking about spankins, my brother remembers being whipped with a belt, but he is 5 years older than me, and mom and dad divorced when I was 2, so I missed the beatings. However, we would go over to my grandmas apartment to visit often. I have 6 aunts, 16 cousins, and seems like grandmas house was always packed with kids. I can remember a few of my aunts telling my cousins to go pick their switch off of the tree when they did something bad, and I was amazed that they did it! I would sit back and think, stupid, I ain't gettin no switch to be spanked with!!

Sounds like everyone is having a pretty good weekend. SO cool you got to go to the concert Alli (oops I mean afro-goil)! I have mostly been sewing all weekend. Got excited before I got out of bed, thinking about progressing on the FULL liquid diet today! LOL. And while my DH has been having seafood buffets every night (and yesterday lunch too), and has a vip banquet tonight. Just not fair!!!! LOL. I wish I could have gone, but would have been agony not to eat or drink likker, and I know I would have given in to it, and suffered for it. I have to admit it though, I have enjoyed the peace and quiet...he does create a lot of stress....so it has been nice!

The visit with my folks is going....today is a hard day as Mom is frustrated with Dad....we are off to the pool shortly....I'm starting to burn as I don't put sunscreen on, so either need to do it, or just wear a t-shirt over my bathing suit......Mom and I may go to a movie at the clubhouse tonight (its free), don't remember the name of movie....Dad doesn't want to go....Dad really doesn't have any interests....
SIL came home yesterday and is doing much better...Rx for Levaquin and lactolose....something on lung (DD didn't elaborate any more) and his bowels were bound up.....he had a large part of his bowel removed as a teen-ager as it was obstructed...he is skin and bones....everything just goes thru him, yet he gets bound up from time to time....not sure what the fever was from....but he was doing better last night.......
I have an 8:30 am flight tomorrow morning....connect in Dallas and get home around 12:30....will be good to get home.....This has been a long trip.....BBL....Hugs.....

Have to share this. We now have to add "Ross" to my list of names (Allie, Mrs.V, afro-goil) this is why:
Remember the TV show Friends? Well, there was an episode involving Ross screwing up in the spray tan booth. Well, U goils know I spray tan all the time, and I have a routine down. Anyway, didn't put the cap on my head the whole time I was bald, cause a big white circle on my head would have looked stupid. So Friday night, I stayed late at work to get my hair colored. Looked great! Then went to the spray tan booth, got all ready, put the barrier cream on my palms and nails, stepped in, pushed the button, and as the spray hits me, it dawns on me that I don't have a cap on!! OMG! Can't stop the process once it starts, or else result would be a very jacked up tan, so I had to just stand there through the series of sprays and let my newly colored hair get sprayed too!
Anyway, ended up being fine, the stuff didn't "soak in" to my hair like my skin, thank God! But after telling the girls at work, they are now calling me Ross. My hair right now kinda looks like his too, lol. There ya go

Silly me, mentioned NM's birthday tomorrow, and I did not post a cake yet. Dorkie you and Stella got that covered, you are on top of things!!! Wahine, you are a hoot, "Shears, Dears...." Your posts make me laugh, you have a great way in saying things so funny. And you iron "sew" much. A tip if this works - I was notorious for leaving the iron on or the curling iron, hot rollers...you get it. I have recently cleared out my third bedrom which is known as the "vanity room". That is because it does not have a bed and was only used to do make up. My wall switch is hooked to an electric outlet so I have a surge protector plugged into the light switch and use this for all of my hot applianaces. One flip of the switch and everything is off. I have been doing more ironing lately due to being back to work and a change in our dress code while I was out last year.
Unde', I would love to see your 80's pic. I promise not to laugh! I am wishing that 80's hair would come back as my hair "wants" to be big and I had it made in the 80's. Now that flatter hair is in, it is a challenge for me. I am waiting and I am patient. I have been waiting all of my life for the name Dorothy to come back lol. It is the number one name now....in the obits that is hahaha!
