Hi ya goils!!! Had the visit from the community nurse a little while ago and she has left me well geared up with all the aides that I'll need.............yipeee! I have a groovy walker!!!! I benn busy packing my bags and doing the final organisation for my DH so he doesn't starve while I'm gone......lol.........I know he will be just fine!
Well goils, I made my goal!!!! Yup I weighed myself this morning and I have lost my 15lb before surgery!!! I am sooooooo happy about this as it surely will make the recovery a bit easier. I intend to keep going but there is no time limit now just to continue loosing.
I'll be looking for all you girls while I'm waiting for the call down to surgery and of course I just know you are all going to behave yourselves and not pinch my cute doc on the butt!! I'll be watching y'all!!!

Dearest Chrissy - Wow, so glad to catch up wif you at the bar for a minute! I'm so glad you are all geared up and ready!! We are all packed and heading down to be wif you for surgery! I tink the Buses are picking girls up all over the west coast and the UFO is picking girls up on the east coast, so we are all gonna be there with you and we cannot wait to see you and get down under!!! Yay! Congrats on takin off a few lbs too, don't push it, glad you will do this slowly and main thing now is to get thru the surgery and just recover and be well! We will be there, but don't count on no butt pinching, I just think all these giggly girls will find someone they must pinch on da behiney.

Oh, good news, Dorkie!!! Stella arrived in da fancy UFO car and she is here having a total blast going through old family photos and laffing at me and my DH pics of how cute we usta be but how old and f'd up we are now! She is all warm, gots lotta nice soft, warm, snuggly blankets and a real cushy bed wif pwetty new sheets and these so so so soft blankies!! She aks for a warm blackberry brandy before beddy so I sez here and we bof dwank a few and dey was yummy! NEway, no worries, she safe and happy and I will hab her phone you in da morning. Sweet dweems dolls!

Good morning, Loungettes! Another snowy day in central Maine, hopefully this will be the last one for this winter. Poor man's fertilizer they call a late snow like this. Supposed to melt off tomorrow, can't wait for things to dry out so I can get some plants into the garden and try out the plant protectors! Soon, soon.
Mrs. Vino--I fully intend to put that doc in his place, the patient rep is working on setting up an a meeting. I just need to make sure that he hears how HIS attitude affected how I felt. Denver is DRY and HOT.....70's...way to warm this time of year....and wild fire danger is sky high....there has been a bad wild fire in Jefferson county foothills which is west of my by 40 miles or so and the other day you could smell the smoke at my house.....so many have lost their homes and everything else too...a couple lost lives (: ....and others still displaced.
Have a pitty party today.....on the verge of crying but it just won't happen.....I so need it.....A lot going on in my head.....

NM - wish I had you here to go to docs with...you are a pistol, takes a lot for me to get to that point, which is a compliment to you, and why I admire you so. You don't let da docs wipe der feet on you. Regarding my niece, thank you for the prayers. She and I talked yesterday, the surgeon thinks she is Stage1, IIB? and that a complete hysterectomy is scheduled in about 3 weeks and surgeon will kno more after he takes the stuff and checks the margins, etc. She is in her early 50's but very spiritual and very healthy, so she and us (her family) are very confident/positive that she will come thru like a champ. Thanks again for your prayers. When we board the UFO to be with Chrissy, I'll share my Mango Vodka wif ya....my Jose too...if Beans remembers it...LOL.

Karen - I'm gunna second what Mema sez, the fires are so scary! We get them in eastern WA but not till summer, waaaaaaaaaay to wet still for fire danger...but it is a really scary thing and I'm so soory it weird for Denver to be this hot an dry. So scary that you could smell the smoke. One time out here we got all ready to evacuate due to a fire right above us on the mountain, but fortunately the volunteer fire fighters put them out. Then my sis was in the Oakland hills fire and had to be evacuated, so scary. I am so sorry for all who have lost love ones and homes in this! Take care of yourself, Karen.

Karen--the fire danger here was HIGH, too, until Wednesday. Not sure what it is now, but I'm still not going to try to burn the rest of the junk just yet. Too windy too much of the time. Having a pity party isn't a bad thing to do, once in a while. I so wish you could have a good cry. Stay safe from the fires in the meantime.

1/2 oz Banana Liqueur
1/2 oz Coffee Liqueur
1 oz Cachaca Rum
1 oz Mango Vodka
10 sliced (fresh) Mango
4 oz Mango Juice
Directions
Add small slices of mango to a hurricane glass. Pour the cachaca, banana liqueur, mango juice and mango vodka in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, and strain into the glass. Add the Kahlua coffee liqueur. Garnish with a sliced banana and a cherry, and serve.0 -

NM.....YES, we are adding seeds and soil amendments. 100% organic/heirloom and open pollinated. I had bought some seeds that were certified organic (seeds of change) and now I'm told they aren't! The government allows "some" chemicals. This particular company has been bought out by Monsanto Seed Co. Lots going on with them, even law suits. I am also told, if you keep your seeds in a cool dry place, they can last up to 10 years. It's the government (again) that makes them put the exp. date on them. Anyways, I know you are furcited about getting your sewing room going.
