This woman has her bridge club every Thursday night and after a peaceful game or two with the ladies, she goes home to fix her husband dinner when he gets home from work. Well, one Thursday, she's playing a great game and she has an incredible hand when she notices the time.
"Oh, no! I have to go fix my husband his dinner! He's going to be so angry if it's not ready on time." And she dashes out of her friend's house, her great hand forgotten on the table.When she gets home, she realizes she has very little time, not enough time to go to the supermarket, and all she has in the cupboard is a wilted lettuce leaf, an egg, and a can of cat food. In a panic, she opens the can of cat food, stirs in the egg, and garnishes it with the lettuce leaf just as her husband is pulling up.
She watches in horror as he sits down to his dinner, and then she realises he is loving it! "Mmmm, darling, this is the best dinner you have made for me in forty years of marriage. You can make this for me any old day, mmmmm!" And that night they had sex for the first time in months and it was great!Needless to say, every Thursday from then on, she made this dinner for her husband. She tells her bridge cronies about it and they are all horrified.
"You're going to kill him," they say, or "He's just yanking your chain," but she continued to make him his cat food dinner and then, afterwards, they would bonk like fiends.Two months later, her husband died and all the bridge women the Thursday after the funeral attacked our new widow for being so callous. "You killed him! We told you that feeding him that cat food every week would do him in! How can you just sit there so calmly and play bridge knowing you murdered your husband?"
The wife stoically replied, "I didn't kill him. He fell off the mantel when he was licking his ass."

Well I has to report that I had a good onc check up and also a clear dental check up today, reason to sailabrate!! I got my onco score which is 13. I neber had it before nor asked about it. And funny ting happened, my onc in a hospital location and dey had a tornado drill wihle i was there. They locked me in, I could not escape. I sure tried. Well I asked if the steps were werking cuz I wanted to sneak out. De lady gab me candy to stop me from bitching. I tailed her I wanted likker but she gave me candy, jest as well cuzz mese rental car was driving. So yes, mese car is at de Collision center. Dey know me dere quite well. Dude not only messed up my bumper but he also messed up chit underneath and bent mese trunk. Why I outta smack dose boys silly fer crashing into me. I am starting to tink that a black car jest mixes with the color of de roadway, people do not see mese. I should start driving with mese lights on all de time, ya tink?
So I gotta finish reading here den git to work. Ick. Don't wanna go but only worked 4.5 hours todey. Hate working dese days.

So ALLISON, here is how you get it from facebook to bco. Click into de pic on fb (all the way in, it does not work from the news feed). Go into de pic then right click your mouse and select "copy image location". Then jest go to the little tree at de top of de post and paste de link. You can then tab and resize if you need to. Wala, it werked for me.

Dorkie, I would think your auto repair place would treat you like royalty for all the bizzness youse gibs dem. That drill was SCARY, but funny you were given candy! REminds me of when my DH and I went to NZ with my parents 2-3 yrs ago. We drove up and down both islands, and at one point there was a huge traffic mess, waay out in the middle of nowhere. Well, there was a fire out in the mtn, and helicopters and planes were dropping water on it, but the road ran underneath them, and they had to come down low. BOY this sounds more confusing as I write it...LOL. BUT a lady in uniform walked up and down the long row of cars, apologizing for the long delay, and she had a bucket full of candy, so offered some to all the motorists. NEVER seen that happen in the good ole USA. Took the sting off!

But on a serious note Bernie, please let us know when you get those results! That's been going on for a long time, and I am hoping they can find out what is causing it, but nothing major, ok. Gotta be a simple fix! I rarely get to chat with you in "real time"...fun! YES, big dwinks when the move is DONE. My parents needed this break, but wish it wasn't raining! Will be so hectic esp on the 24th when the movers will prolly be there from break of dawn till late. Then have to take my mom to her dr the next day to see what meds, etc he wants her on. Then I leave that same afternoon....for the LONG trip home. Thank God they pd for 1st class for me, so I can REALLY have some drinking on the plane!!! I hope they can take it easy after I leave...they have closing, but don't leave till the 30th for AL.

Good morning, Loungettes! I feel like such a wonderful lady this morning. I have a lovely deck, a new grill, steaks marinated in the fridge, and a whole day at home to play with my new stuff! The humidity is dropping so it will be more comfortable today. I see sunbathing in my future!
Goldie--Yup, got the grill, going to move it from the car to the deck later today. It was raining when I got home last night, so I left it there. Got a full tank of propane for it, can't wait to use it later today! Hee, Hee, I'm giggling that the monkey got you the same way it got me!
Mema--They didn't say exactly when I would hear from them, but the director said I would "definitely" hear from them--her word. She sends info back to the recruiter, they send out an offer letter, and things go forward from there. The use a nationwide recruiting agency to handle this part of the process, so I expect it will be quite efficient. She also mentioned that the next orientation is August 6 & 7th in Boston, and we talked about my being able to go to that even if I haven't finished working out my notice. Please keep praying, I really appreciate the prayers!
O'Lara--please do pm someone your contact info. We do keep track of each other. Not too long ago my modem got fried and it took me a week to get a new one. The Loungettes noticed and I got a call from Wahine checking up on me. It's really nice to know that there are women out there who care enough to check up on me. We really are a second family here.

The vet is my good friend and I have gone to him for over 20 yrs with diff furbabies. HE knows their history. Anyway I have a feeling I am working 1000% more than my DH is, during this trip!!
Rain, rain, rain. My dad wanted to drive up the Hamakua Coast, but now I wonder why we needed to meet up so early. Well, stoopid me put the a/c soooo low I froze half the night and couldn't sleep till around 3ayem when I got up and turned it a tad warmer. LOL, the laffs on me...I am really tired this ayem. Hope you girls are doing well, and Cyn, hope you are having enuf pain meds and not feeling any pain. Just relax.....
