Hey Cyn, well i just ran the mower for 15 minutes but had to stop as I was sweating and over heated. Damn DH should be doing it. Soon to be ex DH, will say no more.I have a 1/4 acre total. I am so pissed at Steve, just noticed an area on the side yard where he insists on dumping shit, weeds and such. I pay good money to keep my lawn nice and he just f's it up. It is a foot high on that side, all weeds. why I ouhtta keel him. As soon as I catch my breath, Io am giong to get back at it. It is berry invigorating but a bit too much for me. Uhh, I am a hating right now. I get my anger out by pushing the fn mower. I am portending that the grass is his head and I am chopping it off hehehehe, dat'll teach him.

gads, only did ten minutes and spend two sitting down in mese naybor's driveway. Kathy, thanks for filling in for the DOTD. When I first saw it, I thought HEY, NO LIKKER in it. But then you add the rum and that really made it taste yummy! That is a neat story about the Blue Willow dishes and the game you played, never heard of that. We would play a similar one, called "I spy with my little eye", and then you gave a letter that something began with.

DOTD-THE PSYCHO
- 4 oz. Bacardi® white rum
- 2 oz. Galliano® herbal liqueur
- 8 oz. orange juice
- 8 oz. pineapple juice
- 2 oz. grenadine syrup
Shake all ingredients except Grenadine with ice, and strain into a chimney glass. Float grenadine (it will sink) and garnish with an orange slice, pineapple chunk and maraschino cherry

Pants, can you fill up the bar with those Psycho Dwinks that are our DOTD's? I think we all know some Psycho's! Thanks Lori, those look sooooooo refreshing. Sounds like your game was the same as our game was, just diff names. Can you imagine doing it with those dishes on the table? We would find the most minute things...and of course had to know the elements everything was comprised of, and it got sooooo hard. We were all in gifted classes, and the challenges were great. Gotta share a funny story...don't remember WHAT the classes were called when I was young, but when my kids had their IQ's tested (1st and 2nd grades) and I was told they were "gifted", I thought that meant they had PROBLEMS!!! LOL. Thought that was a polite way to say they were behind....but they were so smart at home, I should have known better. Did I tell you all that our school system is giving ALL the kids computers this school year? I prolly did, as I think thats awesome (K-3rd get i-pads, and 4th-12th get laptops). Their textbooks will all be digital. My oldest DD thinks that is awful, as she LOVES her books (has i-pad too though), and says some kids will not be able to learn as well without having a physical book with pages in their hands. She thinks she would have had a problem with that. But I think it shows our system is very progressive and forward thinking.

Ohhhhhh those steaks were beyond wonderful last night...he had bought PRIME, which you can't always find, and they were so think and tender, and mine was rare like I like it. The herons were flying in to the yard next door, so it was awesome when we get to see them flying so low over the water.

Well, a foundation/structure guy is coming over late today. Sure looks awful. Hoping it won't cost an arm and a leg, and won't take tooooo long to get it all done. Bummer is that this month is pretty busy but I was able to block off Wed-Fri this week (and they were only able to work Wed). Not sure how we will fit that work in, now.

My 7 yo G'dau moved up to her green belt in tae-kwan-do last week, but decided to do gymnastics instead! Glad my DD and SIL are sticking with it, though. And here I sit on my lazeeee white arse when I SHUD do some exercizes!!! Well, hoping Fried-Dey will not be toooo bad for anyone. Just think of the fun Pau Hana we kin habs twonite.

Wawa - Sounds like that game very interesting. Kudos to you gd! My dh hates to watch gymnastics, all those little/young girls. He is afraid they will fall or land wrong and hurt themselves. I can actually see his heart aching when our gd shows us her somersaults(sp) n stuff. He's jes too overprotective...LOL. Hope you n Glenn don't lose an arm or a leg over the structure repairs too!

She says she was just made aware of my need for chemo and wanted to make sure I was getting proper treatment yadayadayada. She was talking like I was jes starting my tx??? I sed I'm done cept for als and xgeva. A year mind you...I don't get it. Told her I didn't need her now and she closed my file. Jeezzz. Then, last Tues while getting my drip, I asked about my xgeva. Nurse sed problem with my ins company. She got it squared away, but I'm thinking...WTF, aint nothing changed cept new year (July 1) and I kno I have to pay my deductible. Who are these insurance idiots??? Tanks fer letting me vent...ahhhh.

Sue my GS is 16. He has been drawing amazing things since he was five years old. While putting some books away the other day ( they were still packed from four years ago ) and I found a story that he had written in 3 rd grade. Talk about amazing.....it was six a4 pages long and very interesting. He has such an imagination.

Chrissy, Yes, I am not surprised that he has a high IQ.....his artwork alone is amazing!!! And I love to see young people that HAVE an imagination these days, as sometimes they are just watching tv or on the puter games sooooo much, they don't have to think of anything. Nice to see them challenge their brains!!! My g'kds are gifted too, but I think they are on the computer sooooooo much and their other gadgets that they seem to also get bored easily if they forget their gadgets or they need recharging,etc. My g'son here REALLY depends on being online, instead of being outside playing. I love seeing creative artists, and your GS surely is one!!!
Susie, So glad Dorkie shared those guys I sent over to her. Darn, that cramping sounds so painful (for Lori too). Ouch! Weird about that insurance call. Oh, I know your eyelashes will look soooo awesome! That product you can buy is a lot harder, as you have to do it daily...saw a youtube video on it....you put a coat of their mascara stuff (more like a glue), then the fibers, then another coat of their mascara stuff. If ANYONE HERE does it, someone said its better to use your own mascara for the topcoat, as the other they include in the product is too sticky for the final coat. Might be worth a try, think its only bout $35 or so. But yeah, need enuf original eyelashes, for it to adhere to! Your professional eyelashes look just so amazing!!!!
