As for the spot they found in your DH throat, I have my own story to tell; Had horrible throat pain during chemo, went through two large bottles of the nasty chit thats supposed to fix it, but it just got worse, SO, Onc sent me to my ENT, put scope down my nose to find a large Granuloma on my vocal chords, due to reflux. Had to up my dose of Nexium. It finally went away, but was VERY painful. Onc was very happy, told me later they were worried it was rat bastard. Thank God not.
Lori, did you say you need a scope of your throat too? Google pics of granulomas on vocal chords, crazy. And I am jealous of your trip to Embassy Suites, Love Embassy Suites!! Specially the awesome guest reception. Can't wait to hear about your Dr visit today. Have they redone your thyroid and testosterone bloodwork? Curious as to hear what those levels are. We can compare. And don't forget to ask the question about splitting your Armour in half, see what they think.
Lara, so glad you are not infuckted, shew girl, mese was worried. It does suck how long of a process it is, like Kathy said, I also had no complications, and it took forever. Well, I guess there was the complication of the first PS replacing the TE with implants, and one was a whole size larger. Then he was a jackass, told me that women go their whole lives with a breast several sizes larger than another, and I should deal with it, or adjust my bra more often. I should report the jackass, but I do better, I am a nail technician with a big mouth, and I tell EVERYBODY about this Ahole!! So, I did have to have the surgery to fix the flat, been 4 weeks yesterday, the girls are looking good. Shew. Tattoos in a few months. Hoping to get them before my 40th Bday, that would be nice. They need to be "flash ready", lol.
Well, I gotsta go. As I've written my book, probably been knockin girls in de pool. Have to work for a few hours this am, then the gym, then home to get ready for the fair. Going out around 4 or 5, will hang out, people watch, then surprising Aubrey as we have tickets to the Journey concert tonight. She loves Journey, so do Ray and I, so will be cool. Then going back to the fair tomorrow around noon, will see all the exhibits, etc. Friends 9 year old daughter got 1st place on her spinache chicken alfredo pizza, very cool. Then will go to thrillway, Let kids ride rides, etc. Then probably back there again on Sunday. Gotta see the racing pigs and all the animals. We are such State Fair geeks!!!

Wow Alli - glad it all cleared up. He put dh on heavy GERD meds too and it has improved...yeah!! The Fair sounds like soooo much fun. And Journey concert superprize for Aubrey...tooooo coool! That spinach pizza sounds wonderful, try and snag the recipe and share K? I love rides, dh doesn't...so we never go to da fair. Last year wanted to snatch up my gs to take but I was still too sick...mayb this year. Have a great day Lady!!

no orla,you didn't overreact,pain/swelling/drainage are concerns,if you have a break in your skin ,you are at a higher risk of infection, and that clear yellow (serous) drainage in protein rich and bacteria love it! bernie
, alli enjoy the fair,is miss aubrey back in school yet? nm so glad you are enjoying this new job, cyn enjoy your last few days of freedom before you rejoin the rat race, re your trip with your daughter which sound wonderful,about visitn bath,plymouth,chester rich in history,lake district so scenic. sue your daughter still in my prayers,hope all goes well tomorrow, prayers for your neighbour ,he's a very sick man. ok time for a rant- recieved a letter from the local hospital,that the mri images were not optimum and that i could have a re scan at no charge to me,this mri was nov 29th, the decision to wait until april for the open biopsy to give my irradiated tissue more time to heal was based on that report that no other abnormalites were seen except the new calicifcations ,that corrosponded with the mammogram and the sterotactic that showed adh. when i called for more info on what was the exact problem,told the mri protocol was not set properly. re scan is tuesday. trying to tell myself the mammograms in march didn't show anything new. and the path from the april biopsy was alh.just going to keep drinking and eating plenty of chocolate. 0 -

Got some "Fred bread" today...this long haired guy named Fred makes awesome bread...has a cult-like following, and delivers daily to really funky artsy places. Even says on his website what types he is baking each day. Also stopped in a bakery and got some "Oreo Balls"...lol....its chocolate coated balls of what tastes like moist oreos. Yum. Didn't I tell you all I have a mouthfull of sweet teeth??? I should NOT stop in new bakeries...no sireee. Went way out in the country to get my haircut, saw my grandkids, and of course had to do some shopping! Alli, I know you all will have a blast at the Fair! I think ours starts when we are gone. But there is an awesome Oktoberfest on the Arsenal, and this year we will be here for it! Yay! Only went to it once, as we are always gone mid Sept.

Hi ya ladies...I'm on me second killya...had a berry busy day.
Talked to DD, she is still running low grade fever but has been getting lower everyday. Kidney doc still not called her back bout that. She had her mammo taday...they did extra views...well cuz a me. She she's her gyno and internist in a week. She IS going to go to either Mayo or UCLA for opinions about the endo and hystorectomy. But like she says, if the hosp does not have a kidney transplant team...they might turn her away as they don't/won't deal with someone in her position. I kno UCLA has one...so...keeping my fingers crossed.
Thank you for yours thoughts and prayers also for my neighbor. Pat did call me today. Lamar has been taken off life-support at the hosp in St Geo. I won't be able to see him...that's what hurts me...but I will be here for Patty, so I've gotta be OK with that. The kids are here and up in St Geo so all is good for now, but Pat's last words to me were..."I'll need you later Suzie"...Enuf of that debbie downer stuff.
Talked to my gf in LV, said the wake yesterday for my long time friend, Jim Wood, was incredible. He collected owls, me n gf had given him a few over the years. His DD had them displayed and encouraged friends to take them. Gf took only one that she had given him and one for me to cherish. It does sound like one I had given him...so I am at peace with that.
Got a HUGE response to my 'call for prayers' regarding my gf, Joyce, and...God willing, we will show up enmasse on Tues to see her. Then we'll go directly to da bar for dwinks!!! In case ya didn't kno...dispatchers n cops dwink ALOT!!! Even us retired dinosaurs...LOL.
I got a pic of the flowers that were delivered today for Reesie. I want permission from Dorothy, to post that last St Pat's Day pic and the flowers on the Wall of Angels thread. The spray is BEAUTIFUL!! Marie's (Reesies) community is AWESOME!! They went above and beyond the call of duty with this endeavor. I'm going to send a Thank You card...maybe even Edible Fruit arrangement to the florist shop...I am jes sooo freakin moved!!! Jes gotta do it!!!
If any of you need to send flowers, hopefully for birthdays, moms days, happy times...to someone in NJ....please PM me for the name of this florist. They are the BOMB!!!

I wish I could figure out how to make it bigger, but that big pink ribbon says BCO SISTERS!! Debbie (the gal I was working with for this) called me when it was alllll done and delivered. Then sent this pic to my phone. She said the funeral people had never seen a spray this size...everyone was very emotional about it. GOOD JOB BREASTIES!!

That spray is SO beautiful! I think our Dorothy might be there at this very minute. I bet there is a HUGE turnout at the viewing. No, I don't have a turret, just I think Dotty thought of a turret, since the upstairs BR has a bay window, and so does the DR below it, so it goes out in sort of a partial turret??? NO, haven't heard about when they will start work. Guess they got the 2/3 payment, so they will disappear for awhile. Huh! I think our guy just goes by "Fred Bread", but think its prolly just local. GLAD your DD will go to a GOOD hospital for future stuff. I remember a house we bought about 25 yrs ago was from a young gal that needed a kidney. They were moving to FL, as they had a better chance of getting a kidney there. And she DID get one. But I know your DD already has a new kidney, and has to find a GOOD team that can do whats needed. That's really nice about the owls...how special. Also, glad that Patty knows you will be there if needed, and sounds like she does think she will need to lean on you. So sad, but glad you are there for her. And then your former co-worker, geez, glad everyone is rallying round, and also glad you all can de-stress over some drinks. You rock, and are SO awesome, I am so thankful I got to meet you in person! Don't forget to have some "Sue" time, also!

hiya goils. sorry jest getting on here, had to get some dwinks on after an emotional ebbening. and whatta week, mese sailabrating biggliest ebber tonight.
it was really nice to meet Marie's children and her DH but it just broke my heart. it was hard to walk in there and see them next to her lifeless body. Her sweet DD is jest so beautiful. I will get permission to post a pic of her but I did snap one. It felt a bit awkward snapping photos in a funeral home but I did tell those around me that it was requested by the girls of BCO. Marie's DH and two sons are firefighters. I had not noticed the firetrucks in the parking lot until my way out but when i walked in, I was greeted by all of the town's fire fighters and they were all dressed in their official uniforms (is that what they are called??? ya know, de suit and tie, similar to police). Dere were a few hot ones too. I foygot to look for wedding rings or lack there of hehe. NEway, the flowers from the Girls of BCO where all so beautiful. And ginormous. I will share the pic I took once I get them to photobucket. I could not capture the size as her immed. family members were standing in front of it and I did would not possibly ask them to move for a pic.The family put together a gorgeous setting. They had an easle of photos of Marie growning up and also a video playing of her. It was bitter sweet, to say the least.
I have so much more to say, I just caught up reading and omg, I have missed so much over the past three days. I was just skimming and posting dwunkliest posts but you girls sure have quite a bit going on.
Sue, thanks again for your hard work in coordinating the flowers. I will certainly use that florist for all of my needs. The place can't be more than ten minutes away from me. You did a great job organizing that in such a small amount of time. And I am really feeling the love to Marie from all of you and am honored to live so close to Marie. It is sad that I did not spend more time with her, she was also a berry biddy goil. I can't explain what I am feeling, it is about the unity here and sort of feel like I have you all here with me ...although you are only here in spirit, I can feel the love. I will be thinking of the family tomorrow; the funeral is always the hardest to me. I will not be there, my ass will be sleeping but I will be mourning in my heart for quite a long time.
I will talk to each of you tomorrow. I really enjoyed catching up with you all tonight. Sue, must say that you have my prayers for all of those around you suffering. I am glad that you are able to recipricate your good friend's kind assistance now that the cards have turned. You are a berry special goil. I must meet you and it will happen soonly. Ya see goils, Mema n Mese talked about dis and she got a GO from her DH to come for a bisit. Talk about fircited, jest have not had de time to do happy dance but doing it now. will hit send so that you are all not in suspense. and Sue, Megan told me to share away with her Mom's pics.

My son (well DH son) is capt on fire dept...dress they call them...when they show up at funeral like that...that had to be sooo awesome. Thank you Ms. Megan for letting us share your wonderful momma. Thanks so much for going to visitation, and representing all the BCO gals. I imagine how hard it was, though. Shoot, if we had known about all those hunky firefighters there, we shud have gotten de UFO to pick us all up and we cud habs all bin dere. What a nice show of support for her family, I have always heard what a tight-knit group firefighters (as well as police officers) are. Good thing you got to unwind a bit when you got home.
AND WHAT IS THIS YOU WROTE????? Mema is going to bisit you??? How awesome!!! Have you all decided when it will be?
