    Good morning all!

NM, nice to see you pop in for a drink. Yippee that you can sleep in tomorree .

I got me car back yesterday, here is hoping that I can keep it in one piece for a long long time. It feels so big and comfy as compared to the Prius. And

omg, when I hit de gas, it flies! It takes some getting used to again. I will be back to driving like a little ole lady again, yippee. The manager did not charge the for bixing the scratches and dent that I did at the Philly parking garage. he said he appreciates my loyalty! I got a new shiney exhaust system so not such a bad deal. The five year old car looks brand spanking new again, yippee, I will dwink to that!

I hope all you goils have a super fab thirstdey! I had Jock whip up a drink for all ye goils and he said it was made with LOVE!

    Cheers!

YAY our Dorkable has her wheels again...her FAST wheels I might say! Soooo glad your car is bixed AGAIN...have you thought of putting yellow caution tape across the back of your car? Hoping and Praying that there are no more accidents!!! Nice of the auto shop to fix the other areas too. Sweet of you to post the pic of Marie. I plan to call the florist today, that Sue set up the bouquet with. If the arrangement goes to the service (and you get to go, also), maybe you could take a pic of it? Awwwww, and dwinks made with LOVE....berrry specual!

Glad I called the drs ofc yesterday....wanted to cancel my appt for today as he is my spine dr, and don't really have time to go right now. Well....guess what.....they did NOT even have me down for an appt! Boy would I have been PO'd if I had taken the time to go there and then find out they messed up. Too much to do right now for that.

YAY also for NM.....sooooo glad you will be DONE wid dat job. Enjoy the dinner too!!

When my mom and I were out yesterday, an ambulance went by, and so I reminded her that if they need to go to the ER, to be SURE to call an ambulance, and not try to drive there. So she wondered what number to call....911.....then she wondered what she was supposed to say to them. Shoot, am just hoping that was because she was so tired after having her hair done, then we went out to eat, then some shopping. My dad already told me he gets tired of repeating things, since she forgets so much. I suggested he write things down sometimes, and just leave it out where she can see it. So hard.

Geez I am soooo THIRST-dey todey....hmmmmm...gonna grab a PITCHER of those LOVE dwinks that Dotty is having all the Tenders make up today. Looks like the Wenches have made up a nice pupu platter too.....ahhhhh....found a nice lounge by the pool. What a life. You all have a GREAT day, otey?

    Hugssssssss,

    Kath

Kathy, I thought you would especially like that chocolate drink. Glad you called that doc, I too would have been really PO'd.

Sue, you rock goil. I will order my flowers today.

Pwetty dwinks Celine, thank you. And thank you Sue for the stwarberries.

Olara, do listen to our DorK, she is the Queen of soygeries and things getting infuckted.

NM glad you are so happy, I can see it! You no hab to ketchup, but you hab to come back!!!! That's an order chica.

Dork, I want you to listen to me. You need to STOP being so loyal to the car bixing place. And did you ask them if they removed the "crash magnet"? Hell, they are prolly the ones that put it there!!!! Tank ewe foy da drink.

Julie, took me a minute to get your picture. At first I thought, oh she's just posting chocolate. Then I saw the JD! I think Dork would like that machine at work!

Kathy, how is your ankle? Lara/Alli, how is your rash? Dork, you never complain, but I know you are pain, no? And hoping for surgery in Nov? Sue,  how about your ickies, and your daughter and your neice?

Heading out in the morning (Fried Day) to get my pellet boost. But when they called yesterday to remind me of my appointment, they mentioned my appt with Mary! Well, she better have answers to my questions, or Mary better send the doc in. Also need to find me a GE doc. Been having problems too long, and in reading, of course the scare of Esophageal cancer. So that would mean another doctor to see in Phx, 4 hours away! Anyways, staying at my fav, Embassy Suites and will be home some time on Sat TURD day. Happy Thirst Day girls. Gonna go check out Sue's thread.

    Hiya Girls,

I think Im pretty much caught up on the happenins of the HTL in my absence. I want to first give my condolences to Maries friends ((( DorK ))) ((( Chrissy ))) and anyone else who was close to her. You are all the most amazing caring women I have ever had the pleasure of associatiing myeslf with...wonderful about the flowers.

DorK....You had me just rolling in uncontrollable laughter at you laughing at that olympians expense...OMG..I love how you admit to that cracking you up and your explination of it makes me want to find a clip of it and watch it myself..nothing like a good belly laugh... Hows work been going for you? How about the house? Missed ya muchly. BTW...Austinites talk a bit funny and they are always "fixin" to do things.

NM..hows the job going now that you have a few days under your belt? You must have been really tuckered from that BOS trip...who took that pic? Auntie?

Kathy, yesterday I was behind a car with stickers on the rear window ..one said Wahine...what does it mean really?? The other said Aloha...tho ..I know what that means.

Orla?? Any Job news? Glad your Dr said your issues are normal.

Celine...love Bacon...lol..memosa's more and the pink drinks..they all looked so good but Im sure would throw me into a diabetic coma.

Bernie...Im giving you pleanty of notice..but looks like there is a good chance I will be visiting Kilkenny next Junish...do you all have Nattys?? Or do I need to drink dark beer there?  On a serious note....my DD and I will be visiting the UK/Ireland after her highschool graduation and I certainly dont want to go half way accross the world and not visit. Ohhhh...btw..why didnt you suggest Kumis when I needed it??  roflmfao.

Julie, once things calm down for you we can make a plan...Sept is fine...its not that far away.

Camille...glad you stopped in and that you foud your beverage ...drink up.

Sue, hope Jengirl is doing well..I think and pray for you often.

Lori,... thanks for all the positive fb comments on my pics...I had a lot of fun this week.

..... Just a little over one week left before I get back into my work routine...Im actually glad to be going back and being normal again.

Love you girls..missed you like crazy...xox

    Bottoms up

Orla, Glad you will be ok. But, mese is funcused (a normal occurance for me)....but i thought you HAD the TE's in already...and were hoping not to lose them. But now you won't get the TE's until Jan? Its a LONG road, isn't it? If I had been told how long it would REALLY take, it would have freaked me out, and I didn't have complications.

Cyn, YAY *doing the happy dance*, Cyn is in da house, Cyn is in da house, Cyn is in da HTL!!! Yippeeeeee. That would be so awesome if you could meet up with our Bernie! She is soooooooo cool, you will love meeting her in person. Hope it works out! Wahine means "female", "woman"' ; and Aloha can mean "Hello", "Goodbye", "Love", etc. My DH loved the Guinness draft in Ireland, and I loved the hard Bulmer's Cider. You won't be at a loss for good likker there, foah shuah! LOL, Cyn...it isn't just people in Austin that say "fixing to"....verrrrrry common in the South...right, Alli? When my DH says that, I say "How are you *fixing* to do that?". Like "I'm fixing to go to the store"....so what needs fixing??? I get a kick out of it. AND how long southerners can take to say a simple statement sometimes, I love all the embellishments!

Dotty, OK, now I am curious again....remind me what happened to that olympian so I can search for a clip on Youtube...since Cyn mentioned it again. I forgot what you said happened, and what event it was in. HOPE things go well at work, and the rates come DOWN, waaaaaay down for ya!

    Hugssssss,

    Kath

    wow cyn, i love visitors.

I am having a brilliant time with my SIL - so not expected.  Put to rights many years of misunderstandings.

Not like the FIL - lazy B****** here earlier in the year.

Meeting my Kathy was the highlight for me.  she tracked me down and introduced me to this site.  I wuv her to bits - women after my own hear, soul mates and we only had one hour together.

Now as you all know  - I am not one to talk so -

Sláinte (slahn-chə) is a word literally translating as "health" and is commonly used as a drinking toast in Ireland,

Here are the top nine comments (so far) made by sports commentators (Some English??) during the London Summer Olympics that they might like to take back:

    1. Weightlifting commentator: "This is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. I saw her snatch this morning during her warm up and it was amazing."

    2. Dressage commentator: "This is really a lovely horse and I speak from personal experience since I once mounted her mother."

    3. Paul Hamm, Gymnast: "I owe a lot to my parents, especially my mother and father."

    4. Boxing Analyst: "Sure there have been injuries, and even some deaths in boxing, but none of them really that serious."

    5. Softball announcer: "If history repeats itself, I should think we can expect the same thing again."

    6. Basketball analyst: "He dribbles a lot and the opposition doesn't like it. In fact you can see it all over their faces."

    7. At the rowing medal ceremony: "Ah, isn't that nice, the wife of the IOC president is hugging the cox of the British crew."

    8. Soccer commentator: "Julian Dicks is everywhere. It's like they've got eleven Dicks on the field."

    9. Tennis commentator: "One of the reasons Andy is playing so well is that, before the final round, his wife takes out his balls and kisses them... Oh my God, what have I just said?"

ROFLMAO Bernie! I'm gonna send those gaffes to my DH....hilarious! Yes, meeting you was the HIGHLIGHT of my trip to the Emerald Isle, foah shuah! Love how we *clicked* instantly!

OK Cyn, if you insist....sheesh.....I will tell you how to say all that if you go to Hawaii....you would say... "Can I have a Beer"? and "Where's the bathroom"..  LOL...Devil made me do it. Although some of the bathrooms DO say "Wahine" and "Kane"(male). Keiki is the Hawaiian word for child, children (same when plural). I had forgotten they have the free keiki hula in the shopping center every Saturday...would have loved to have seen that again. They are so precious!

Soonliest it will be Pau Hana time....fixing up some HUGE JD's for our Dorkie, as she has had a hard day! Hmmmmm....ya think our Tenders have had a HARD day too???/ Let's find out... *winky winky*.....

Good morning, Loungettes!  Another quick pop in to say Hi before heading off to work.  TGIF!  I am so looking forward to having a Saturday and Sunday off.  Orientation is going really well, I'm really getting a feel for things now and am almost ready to step out on my own.  Just a few more things I need to see done in the field and I think I can start picking up my own caseload.  Got the beginnings of a work week routine shaping up.  Need to think about setting up some more routines at home to adapt to a M-F work schedule.  I am so furcited!  And I see I'm babbling about myself, and need to stop.

Yes, Aunty took the hard day pic, then e-mailed it to me and most of the family!

ORLA--so glad there's no infection, not so glad about the wait for TEs.  Recon takes so long, it's not fair!

BBBBernie--so glad the SIL is being a good visitor!  Life sure does have it's surprises! And the commentator comments are hilarious!

Mema--I am praying for your neighbor, doesn't sound good, does it?

OK, time to head off to work, and I'm looking forward to it!
