even tho i'm not a CG thought i would check in and say hello .... since pinkstock have been back to work trying to undo years of neglect on the house and yard .... have a long way to go
funny now that i have met many of you (too late to help at pinkstock where i was overwhelmed by new faces and names) i'm getting the hang of who is who ... lol
i finally finished all the testing now just waiting for the results ... i soo hate waiting for results but the good news is the ones i have received are good so here i am ... 3 years and counting

I couldn't get on at all---said the server was down---and I'm still getting the micro tiny font when I type. Wonder if restarting my Mac would help any---don't even know how to find cookies on this contraption.

What a day they picked to do more work on the new stuff here. Our isp picks around 2am to do their stuff. I was "introduced" to the error lady several times this morning!
Still raining here today. Hubby went to work in the car yesterday instead of the trike after asking me which one should he take. It rained here on and off, hubby said it didn't rain at all in downtown Tulsa until he got ready to leave at 5pm. Then it rained on him all the way home so guess he was glad he had the car by that time!
We started watching Tour of Duty season one dvds. They didn't use the orginal songs or title song, guess they had problems getting permission to use songs from the Vietnam era. Instead they put in instrumental music. I found this one used at Vintage Stock and also picked up seaon one of Law & Order Special Victims Unit while there. I just finished up "Life Goes On" season one. Man I couldn't believe how many times I cried watching that one. The acting is supurb with great story lines! I want to get the newest Grey's Anatomy, didn't get to watch the past two seasons of it since hubby doesn't care for the show and it comes on during some other show we both like.

Sent, Federal Express, to DD a big box of LSU things....she said there was tooooo much orange and she needed her purple and gold around. I even found the cutest "Mike" the tiger stuffed animal!!

Jaz, thanks for the info. He did say whoever does it has to wear at least a mask, best would be some type of respirator. But that either won't completely block out the spores. And yep he told us we had to wet it down to. Also said mess had to be swept up not vacumed?

Good morning to everyone. It is a beautiful day here in S. CA. Nice ocean breeze, blue skys and sunshine. Just the way I like it. Hopefully after last week summer is over.

Wild/Jan-Can you bring some of that rain to San Diego with you. Like I said today is beautiful but we sure could use a good soaking.
So who in our circle interprets dreams? I am going crazy. Everynight I dream some version of the same dream. I am losing my home. This was going on off and on for several months but now it is happening every night. For at least 3 weeks I have dreamt I am losing my house or an apartment every night. Some of them I am living in another state but my California home is here empty and I can't get back here. Others I am moving out of an apartment and have no place to go but know my California home is here somewhere. Finances are not good since bc and I am worried about how we are going to pay off our debt but this is making me crazy. Every morning I wake up depressed and worried. I feel O.K. throughout the day though. Since I switched to Effexor one might even call me happy. Could it be the drug? I did have the same type of dream on Lexapro though too. I just did not have it as often.

Well...I returned Nates clothes and got him some that fit. He is now going to be the ring bearer in the wedding that I am photographing later this month as the ring bearer they had backed out. Had to get him black pants and a dark blue snap front shirt...we found them at Old Navy! Whew. I actually bought myself some new clothes...they are having a great sale and I've gained too much weight to wear what I had so I got some of the cute new "smock" type shirts and some really nice dress pants. It will feel good to go to work and not worry about sitting down and splitting out my britches.
Jankay is eating pb and mustard sandwiches and pounting cuz Peter wouldn't share his rump with her. Don't know what we are gonna do with that girl!

Here I am Vickie! My sleeping is all screwed up cuz of the meds I'm on so I was sleeping the last few hours. Tried to post this morning here and got the dreaded you know who. So I spent a nice time over on Gina's site. Well, it's morning somewhere so I'm going to post the image I tried to earlier!

Things around here seem to be getting better. I do miss the active topics though. It was an easy way to check and see current events.
My best friend just informed me that she got a call back on her 1st mammogram. She went right in yesterday and they said whatever was there 1 week ago is gone now. I think she should ask for at least an ultrasound. She is 45 and planning to get pregnant for her 4th child next month. Getting pregnant is not a problem for her. Since she will be pregnant or breastfeeding for the next 2 years at least I think she should have the area checked with ultrasound. I don't want to scare her (not that she wasn't already a wreck) but I do want her to be on the safe side. She has no family history and Kaiser is her provider so I don't know if they will approve the US. Am I being cancer causeous here or what?

I've sure missed out on a lot of fun the last couple of days. Yesterday almost did me in. I'm still trying to recover today, but have lots of things still to work out.
Jacob, my son in Ecuador, is still working on getting home. I have been able to speak to him some. He spoke to a lawyer there about getting his stuff back. He'll know more on Monday. He is technically illegal right now since his visa expired. He will have to pay an "undisclosed" amount of money to become "legal" so he can go home. His "friends" have convinced him it would be bad to go to the embassy. They have told him he would "lose" his passport and he wants to be able to go back next year. He is anxious to come home because he's sick and says he's losing weight. I plan to make some more phone calls to try to verify the info he's being told.
On top of this, yesterday one of my 8th grade girls left campus right after her mother dropped her off. She waited for her mom to leave and then left herself. In our defense, she never came in the building. The first clue we had that there was a problem was when another student came in and asked if this girl was there. I hadn't seen her come in, one of the teachers monitors the door in the morning and yesterday it was me. This other girls had seen her walking down the street with some boy. I talked to the girl's best friend. She gave me some story about she having to meet her father to go to her sister's surgery. I immediately called the girl's mom and she knew nothing about that. Then the search was on! Finally, the police came and interviewed some of the kids, went through her things to find any clues where she might be, etc. Our principal spent the day searching. It's been a nightmare! I still don't know if they found her.
Life is just crazier all the time. Hopefully we'll get used to the boards so we can continue to share with each other.

45 and pregnant? yikes!!! I agree tho, if I were her I would tell my doc I wasn't comfortable with it was there but now it's not.
WildJan, Greys Anatomy hits the stores on tuesday. I'm gonna be at wallyworld at 9am. How sad is that. I didn't watch it during the season so have to catch up before the new season starts.

Sheri, O my. I do hope the girl has been found. Can you talk to Jacob and convince him he needs to go to the embassy. Who are these "friends"? The same ones who are holding his plane ticket hostage? He needs to go where he can be protected. If he gets picked up without a passport or visa he could have some major problems. Who's telling him he needs to pay to become legal?

Just have time to say hello. Husband just got a phone call, our neice is having her twins today. They are breach and doing a C-section. OMG - only have one afghan done.

Madison - yes I'm sure DD is going to hate orange by the time she leaves or learn to like it. LOL She does know not to wear red or crimson doesn't she? Those are OU colors - big rivalry. I was in Stillwater on Thursday and it was hopping as the first game is tonight. Tell her I said hello and let me know if she needs anything.

Well the email me when a favorite conversation has been posted to is interesting but would surely fill up my email box for the circle thread. I thried it on a couple smaller ones and I had 15 emails.
I also found that when I go to my Favorites, where I have the link to BCO it dosen't work and the OOPs Lady is there but I saved the circle thread in my favorites and it brought me right to the first page. I still have to log in, which by the way my log in got changed to my screen name???? confused me big time.
I'm feeling better today but can tell that I'm back on the chemo.
Went to a new Japanese Steak House. It was really nice. Think we'll go there more often. Scott really likes it and that way he gets the vegies he likes. Me I'll stick to the rice and steak.
Tried out my new "hair" today and my neighbor didn't recognize me when we ran into each other at Costco. It's only a fall and some bangs but boy were they HOT! can't imagine what a full wig would be like. But I wanted something for the winter as it can get pretty cold. I may try a wig yet. then I could ditch the hats sometimes.
I really like the large type when I'm typing sure makes it easier to see. and I think I can actually read the posts now too. That's a good thing cause I was having so much trouble I was using my glasses and reading glasses on top of them before.

I see some changes have been made since earlier.
I think they are getting with the program now.
I really think they should have asked the members for feedback BEFORE they started- would have saved them a lot of grief!
Can you imagine what their PMs must have been like for the past few days??? OOo Dear!
I still miss the old format, but I have always been a stick in the mud!
