TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS

Well, my docs still don't seem to know why I am feeling so crappy. I am OK if I am resting, but if I try and do anything my heart rate goes to about 140 and I feel like I'm going to pass out...not fun.
My H&H is not great, but it is still 25 and 8.5, and I usually don't need a transfusion until about 22 an 7.0. My thyroid is on the low side of normal, so it shouldn't be bad enough to make me pass out.
I hate not knowing what is going on!
SO...I am curled up with my blankie and seeing if I feel better in the morning
Hugs

Good Morning. Got up early enough today to say hello and take an early morning walk. Went and took a walk to our circle wagon lake and the sunrise is beautiful. Gonna be another hot scorching day here in the Chicago end of the circle. After all my whining about not having a nice Spring and a cool June - Im not complaining. Im gonna enjoy everyone of these beautiful summer days.
DebC: I sure am glad the doctors felt it was safe for you to come home with your mom. Im thinking maybe they heard about us and know the wagon circle girls will take care of you too. No wonder your feeling awful. Those blood counts are pretty low - darn that chemo. Im guessing right about now you are pretty tired of all this stuff. Seems like you have been on chemo for such a long time now and the accumulative effects are hitting you strong. I know your discouraged but just remember we have you tucked in nicely and will be available at your command. Thats what the circle is all about. I know you dont want a blood transfusion, but I remember how much better you felt when you had it the last time - so Im sending big hugs your way.
Newvickie: You brought our dancing guy back. Cool! Sounds like your wagon had lots of action last night. Sending sunshine your way - my sunshine sister.
Neese: Spending lots of time with GD. How old is she now? They grow so fast, so you best enjoy as much time with her as you can. Flesh eating turtles? Goodness, stay away from that pond while your at Pinkstock. Are they big one or little ones? Hope the storm was not too scary. I love summer thunderstorms so long as they dont cause flooding, loss of power, or tornados! Im so glad you brought back the dryer picture. I still remember you telling us that story and it makes me laugh out loud.
Puppy: Sounds like recovery has been hard on you, but still - your sounding stronger every day.
Lynn48: What a blast from the past. The other day I went back and read the wagon circle from the beginning and I was thinking about you and how you are doing. Will have the magic carpet ready for when you have that mammogram scheduled. How is your son. Is he still into the wonderful Winter sport. I sure did love some of those pictures you posted a while back.
SoCal: Glad you enjoyed the pool party. Even though the water seemed cold, you got used to it right away. BTW your a real beauty in your new bathing suit.
Shokk: Visa diet girl. You crack me up.
Madison: Supervising your husband cook. That made me laugh out loud this morning. Keeping you in my prayers. I laughed when I read you say "Im still going to Pinkstock." I was thinking maybe you could whip up or tell us how to make some redbeans and rice for DebC. Those legumes and grains - makes B Vitamin you can get anywhere else. Although if the whole wagon circle eat it, I will be hoping there is a nice wind outside. I love that dish but it makes me go tooty toot toot.
Odalys and Valerie: A big hello to my newest sunshine sisters.
Hello to everyone else from A to Z. I know I have missed many. Cant seem to keep up, but you just wait til the weekend.
Have a wonderful day.

Hey girls - Thanks for all the love and prayers. I'm feeling a bit better after 11 hours of sleep! Must have been all the cowboys singing that helped me sleep. Docs are still deciding if I need more tests or a transfusion.....

Glad you got lots of sleep Deb. We're waiting with you friend.
Dang that frap sounds good! Think I'll mix one up ...
Been working on mowing the fields ... well, actually, the area near the gate with a hand mower. Had to make a path just to get the riding mower through! I could sure use that tractor with a bushhog attachment now.
What's for dinner???

Hello Circle...
I have been out playing tennis and going to a docent meeting at our museum, that went on and on....
For dinner we are having portobello mushroom ravioli with a side salad..
Is that on our diet Nicki??
Deb..wish they could figure out how to help you in the best way..in the meantime take it easy, and that is an order..
Bren, you do need a tractor and someone to operate it...
Val, keeping your DH comfy in the circle.my hubby had prostate cancer to deal with just a year before I had my Journey here...
Hi puppy and nico, vickie and Neesie(still laughing at the drier fix)
Hugs all around..

Ohhhhh, SoCalLisa,
That dinner sounds devine!
Could I make some foccacia in the dutch oven for those who aren't "allergic" to carbs?
It has really wonderfully healthy EVOO in it !
Bren, I'm a veteren tractor driver so give a shout if I can help. We Nebraska girls develop
"tractor skills" real early.
((((((((HUGS))))))))) to DebC and Val's DH. We'll cradle you in the Circle tonight.

A big hello to all of our Pinkstock Fairies. I bet ya'all are getting excited. It was a hard day. Evaluated 3 woman with breast cancer. All coming to where I work for some rehab. 46 y/o, 51 y/o and a very active 73 y/o. All in a crisis and just looking for some direction.
Im checking in on Zarowny (Dawn) and hoping today has been a better day. She has been in my thoughts and prayers.
SoCal: Yes, thats me on a diet. After losing 10 pounds by just exercising alot, I did get motivated. But Im really not allergic to carbs. Im eating the right carbs. Your portobello mushrooms sound fantastic. I will take balsmaic vinegar with my salad thank you very much. Dessert will be a fruit salad with watermelon, cantalope, blueberries, blackberries, mango, pineapple, and strawberries. I can also whip up some sauteed zuchinni in EVOO (as Rachael Ray would say), garlic, and fresh basil from my herb garden.
Valerie: I feel so bad for Bill. We all know the fear, and anxiety - especially that first visit after treatment. Just give him a big hug and tell him it will be ok - yeah easy to say isnt it.
DebC: Its so good to hear you are feeling better today. Hemoglobin of 8 is pretty low, and I was just thinking that a transfusion would help, but I can sure understand them wanting to do other tests. That heartbeat was pretty fast. Keeping you in the middle of the circle.
Puppy: Its good to hear from you. And how true about what your picture says.
Bren: Now that you cleared a path, does that mean you will make some Blackberry pie?
Cherryl: I was thinking about you today. Its hotter than heck out and the humidty just about knocked me out. Im too tired to even go swimming in the pool. Anyways, so glad you turned me onto 94.7 - Im just loving the music.
Pammy: Im looking for you. Think I saw a post somewhere, but now a days Im geting lost - that happens when I dont have computer time.
Shokk: Im waving at you.
Lynn48: I thought about you all day. Im so glad you stopped by and hope you come back soon.
So many more to say hello to, but I think Im gonna take a nice little nap before dinner. Hope you all have a wonderful evening. Howdy from A to Z.
Hello to my special friend:

Nico ... I could use your help! Where in Nebraska are you? Used to fly in and out of Omaha all the time when I lived in Shenandoah a couple years ago. Traveled through the Platte area a number of times too. Beautiful country in the heartland. Also loved the area down by St. Joe's and little further south near Lawrence, KS.
Dinner sounds great ladies!!
love,
Bren

My Doc's want me to hang out and rest, drink lots of fluids and treat my pain symptoms for another day and see if I feel any better tomorrow. I do feel some better today, so they don't want to do anything drastic if I am getting better. There was nothing in my blood work other than the severe anemia.
SO...I am once again curled up in my recliner listening to the rain....
Hugs everyone

Hello Everyone
I wanted to post this where everyone will see it. I met a little guy yesterday, his name is Daniel and he is 10. It seems that he is a little boy that has just been thrown away. I was talking to him and asked him if I could hug him, he nodded and just layed into me, I said, doesn't anyone ever love on you and he said no.
I was told he has a problem with taking things and is punished severely. He said my dad won't work and I have to take things cause we don't have any money. His room has been stripped down to a mattress on the floor and he has nothing else in there. My heart is broken for him and I don't know how I can help other than pray. Please.... will all of you remember him!!!

Good Morning Nicki, everyone,
It's a glorious morning! The smell of coffee and cinnamon from the coffee cake is wafting out over the Circle. If you can't sit a spell and enjoy some at least stop by and pick some up "to go".
DebC, Val, Dawn check in please and let us know how goes it today.
Wishing everyone a wonderful week end!

Good Morning Friends,
Nico - Coffee and cinnamon cake sounds good this morning. Damn girl ... I coulda used you and your tractor yesterday. I took another look at my progress last night ... and it was pitiful.
Deb - You're in my thoughts. I'm sorry for your pain and hope the doc's can get your anemia under control. I check your blog all the time and love to look at all your pictures. My favorite is of you and your daughter at the finish line of the cross country ski meet. There's also an old one of you during your first chemo, which inspires me. Grace, courage, strength in your face.
Doris - Keeping the little guy in my prayers.
Val - Holding you and DH close.
Hoping for news from Zarowny soon. Lynn - if you have heard something, please check in and let us know.
Madison - How are you holding up? Thinking of you.
Hi Robin - Great to see you!!
Need to get moving ... off to see the PCP and hope she can get this mess straightened out with my "cancer" docs. I'm nervous and worried ... way past when my 6 mo. mammo should have been done.
Sorry if I missed anyone this morning ..
Love to all,
Bren
