Ah, that would have been the sensitive thing for me to do. Imagine my horror when the first four images I Googled were sock-monkeys!

LAUGHING
OUT
LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(For those of you who don't follow the "middie" thread, both our Meecie and our Eph-girl have an aversion to sock monkeys AND clowns...... please use all restraint possible in posting: clowns-on-the-beach photos -- these are very faint-of-heart-gals we're dealing with: LOL)

Oh,wow, you all are absolutely awesome! Thank you so very much and what a day brightener.I travel and care for elderly parents(two hrs away) so I am gone from home periodically. Both parents have been sick so thank you for your kindnesses. Faith,my memory has aged and my brain is more muddled but thank you and everyone for your kind words and lovely pictures! Wow...I am just blown away...but thanks and I promise to get to know all of you and love coconut cake, luaus, pets, the beach, sock monkeys, friendly faces...neat things here. I don't know if any of you ever played games with real sock monkeys...we had those at schl and were so cool(many oceans ago...LOL) The teachers' names were on the sock monkeys and for 10 cents/three throws, those bad grades were obliterated painlessly, neat fall fundraiser...old school, right?LOL
Have a great evening...well,actually morning where I am! That is how I happened upon bco as it was late, late and I was looking for support and comfort. This is the feeling that is so awesome here...thank you, once again, and everyone have a great Wednesday!

Missing you guys a lot ! I was unable to link with you all as the temperature in my place goes down to 5 degree. So cold which I never experienced in last 20 yrs. Sometimes I feel so scared thinking about global warming. Now also I am sitting near heater. Some says it is not global warming but global cooling which is more dangerous than the earlier. It seems prediction of our scientist has become contradictory. But I leave everything in the hand of God as he knows everything.

Raj, we have missed you!!! The scientists have to predict both global warming and global cooling that way at some point they might be right!

Just popping in to save my spot in the sand & surf.
Happy day of errand-running into town.
Hair cut. Art supply place.
Little things I've been looking forward to.
Everyone have the happiest-of-hump days!!!
Maybe someone can find some appropriate Hump-day imagery.

Maybe this is more appropriate for the beach.

Lots of sand in our Western States too...

The Great Sand Dunes National Monument in Colorado.

I did not know about them! Who woulda thunk it?
I've been in sand dunes in the Baja Penninsula...VERY, very dangerous!!!
0 -
What's the danger?
0 -
OOoooooh, If you go down into a dip, there are times when you absolutely CANNOT get out!! We were warned quite a bit on our tour when we got to the dunes. You bury yourself as you try to climb up. It gave me a very healthy fear of deep dunes. I'm not talking about ones on a beach that are small and probably have some dampness in them. I'm talking about the kind that shift with the wind and have very deep hollows.

Lovely hummers. The flowers in the first picture are nearly as fascinating as the bird.
