    Today was "pack-the-Florida-place&get-ready-to-head-north day.

Golly, that went quick, didn't it?

We head to Daytona Beach tomorrow, to spend several days with my step-son, his dear & preggers wife and the testosterone trio of love. Picture all 7 of us under one roof.

In addition to all of this immediate excitement, I have "discovered" LinkedIN and have been attempting to set up my professional profile and learn how to navigate there. Ho boy!

I may need to be phasing back on my FB & BCO addictions to make room for this new one.

It seems to have massive potential to connect me professionally.

Will work very hard to get some great beachie pics to share.

    LOLOL

    Sharon, you silly.

    That is me!!!

I didn't even see Lisa, there was so much going on!

You can see the flag & flower -- sure indications that's me under the big hat!!

    LOL.

It's officially spring break and we are officially at Daytona.

    It's wall-to-wall people.

Our room/suite/haven isn't ready for check-in, just yet. So we gotta hang out in the louge. Can you believe that it's "over-cast" for our arrival? Truly.

    What's up with that?

That has not slowed the crowd at the pool. Of the hundreds & hundreds of pool side chairs, I can't spot one empty one, anywhere.

All these northerners are gonna sit at the pool, even if there's not an ounce of sun!

The testosterone Trio should be here in an hour!

Thanks beachettes for the birthday wishes!! I've decided next year I'm getting a passport and traveling to Canada. This birthday---for some reason----has been so stressful---with family. Maybe they're wondering how many more birthdays I'll be having??? I'm not sure, but it has sure worn me out. I don't want to seem ungrateful, because I am, but greaaaaaaaaaaaat gooooogaaaaaaaaaaaamoooooogaaaaaaaaaaaa I'm tired.

Hey Barbe---we didn't win any real money, but the time we had together was priceless. Much better than winning.  I honestly don't see how Faithie does her song and dance for hour after hour and just doesn't drop from exhaustion. I wish I had 1/4 of her energy:)

So Faithie, you're on the coast of California?? I thougth you were still on the East Cost?? But now am I understanding you're heading up to your northern place soon---for the duration of the year?

I've been thinking about you and Saint's family today. I think it was the 30th she left this world and stepped on to the sunny banks of sweet deliverance. I'm sure it's been a rough year for you and other friends and family.

Well, sending big hugs beachies!!! Hope everyone has a wondermous evening.

Much love to each and everyone of you!!!

I've been looking for a new fridge. There are sooooo many decisions and choices to make. I haven't bought one in about 20 years. Any recommendations??? Helpful hints??

Oh man!! That statue is mass produced?????  How "unspecial" is that???? Yell

Coonie, I sell fridges. You have to consider if you want the following:

    Brand

    colour

    glass shelves (better than wire!)

split sheves (adaptable for large things like a jug of lemonade!)

freezer on the bottom (more cubic foot for the same size of fridge and easier to access)

ice/water (first thing to go is the ice maker)

side by sides have useless space!

counter depth or regular (most fridges stick out past counter - counter depth are $$$$$!!!!)

    width to fill space (check out your space - you'll have 30, 33 or 36 " )

    Hope that helps!

The story goes, that they didn't even know each other, and never saw each other again.  A photographer from life magazine just happen to catch the moment as the end of the war was announced.
