Morning gals! Lisa, great shots for Barbe. Faith, it is great to meet sisters, I totally agree. Well, yesterday was a picture perfect postcard day. Here is the view looking west from my master bedroom balcony.

Barbe, we were there last year..they are revitalizing the center of town..
there is a lovely hotel there but we were on a ship...

Tide went out in the late afternoon. There I am wondering around collecting shells like a little kid.I never want to leave the beach.I know I am a very strange person but I don't give a hoot.My DH says I am just as obsessed with the ocean as he is with his birds.

You're a match Mum! You fit well together like my DH and I.
Lisa, did you get to Coronado Island or have dolphins run with your boat? That was the first time we'd been with dolphins in all our travels.

Mum, I could take an hour to walk 300 yds on a beach. There is just SO much to see when looking down. The sound of the ocean and the birds in the background. So much life underneath our feet. I LOVE it.

Barbe, no not to the Island this trip, I had been out there deep ocean fishing one time. But the
dolphins did follow our ship on the cruise

This morning the beachwas littered with dead puffer fish.My husband said the fisherman caught them in their nets and threw them overboard since they are unedible.Poor pufferfish0
-
Stupid puffer fish is more like it! You'd think they'd have evolved enough to avoid the nets! I think they're darling little egotistical atitudinal fish.

Thanks for the well wishes, beachies! When we first arrived, there was a lot of rain, but this week has been so sunny and beautiful. I'm sorry I missed you, Faithie. I would love to meet you one day.
Mum, if I was at the beach with you, we both would be collecting shells and be transfixed by the beauty and power of the ocean together! Interesting about the pufferfish. I heard in Japan they are considered a delicacy. One man's trash, another man's treasure, as they say.
Here is a pic from Cocoa Beach 5 days ago. I remember mentioning the awesome sight of pelicans flying in CA, but didn't have my camera. This time I did! Wishing you all a peaceful night.

Youth at the beach:
Saint's daughter, Cinderella is on the far left of the picture. Snatched from her FB album. Her high school spring break adventure to FL with the band.
We are now safely in INDY for two entire nights. We will only have 2 nights in a row -- at a max -- until the very end of the month.
***The photo of me w/2 of my fellow January team members: Gina & Robin-no-breast, both from New Albany, IN -- across the river from Louisville.

Marlegal.............Someone from my stomping grounds.........I live in Drexel Hill, Pa., and have a home in Cape May Beach, Nj........A small area about 6 miles from Cape May, and 10 minutes from North Cape May..................I am about 1 block from the Delaware Bay, and there is nothing more beautfful then Sunset over the bay........Can't wait to get down there in a few more weeks.
We got to the Wildwood Crest beach righ below Diamond Beach......I have a pool at the house, so we go to the beach for a few hours and then back to the house for the rest of the day......
Love, Cape May, and I have 2 sons who own homes in North Wildwood......
So nice to find someone from this area...............hugs

Barbe, thank you. I surprised myself. I was going through pics from our trip in 2007 and saw this one. Cropped it a bit and it turned out just right!

So is it fake??? Or is it perfect???0

And how the heck would rabbits get to an ISLAND in the first place?? Let's see....a hawk is flying with one it caught, but it wiggles enough to be dropped and luckily enough there is an island underneath it. The next day the stupid hawk does the exact same thing with a rabbit of the opposite sex. Hmmmmm. Pretty far fetched in my opinion!0
-
It is real. I believe it is a bird sanctuary. The first rabbit was already pregnant.
