    Barbe, I think all have fur but some have more luscious fur than others.

    There is an elephant seal rookery up North of San Simeon and it is entertaining to go watch them.  I like to see all the pups, but watching the males spar is also cool.  Couldn't find my pics so here's one from Google.

    seal are fun to watch (though when fishing I get pretty angry at 'em... Laughing)

    but THESE guys are my favorites!!!

    I wish DH and I had had a video camera as we were walking along a deserted stretch of beach here in town a few years ago.  We walked about 2 miles along the beach with a seal swimming and playing right beside side us.  It almost felt like it was taunting us for being land bound.  Either that or it was inviting us to come on out and play!

    Mary and I are partial to Harry...we met him on a BCO chatters get together in Florida..now this isn't exactly Harry but his cousin I saw out in San Diego

    Chabba, that is such a sweet story! Once when scuba diving off Myrtle Beach, a fish stayed in front of my DH's mask for an unreasonably long period!! They just stared at each other in wonder!! hehehehehe

    Hi beach gals!!! I've only gone thru about 3-4 pages and the pics are gorgeous.....as always:).



    Can anyone give me any tips about posting pics from iPad. I don't have my laptop anymore and I'm trying to learn a whole new trick......just turned 50 this year so I may not be a swift learner.....LOL.



    Hope all of you are having a good summer and some real life beach time!!

    Well, I turned 70 last year..lots of tricks yet to learn..

    I don't have an ipad, but I think you can post if you have photobucket or picasa web from that..

    Excited!  I just sent in a deposit for a small 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath condo on the beach in Brookings OR for 8-8 thru 8-11!  Salty air soon--yippee!

    Unless something changed in the last week or so, there is currently no way to get pics from iPad to bco pages. I tried for months and others finally told me it was a losing battle. If I ever hear otherwise, I'll message you!

    Wow I thought I was the only one who went back to my old PC to post photos. Am totally addicted to my IPad but have been stumped on photo posting for this site.

    Joni, are you going without your DD? Now that would be a real holiday!!!! Will you see that haystack island place?? Hope you get great weather and a good rest.

    Mum better be home because I'm going to her place for lunch today!!! Hrf and I will be banging on her doors in a couple of hours. Wish it was sunnier.....was looking forward to a dip in the pool - not dodging tornados again.....

    Barbe, yes, I am going with me, myself & I. DD has to work + she's house sitting for $, so her boyfriend is going to housesit at my house & take care of the animals (probably for minimal $).  I am taking several projects but will probably not do 1.  I'm just gonna do what the spirit movesLaughing Cannot wait!

    We had a FABULOUS lunch!!! Halibut on the barbecue, huge shrimp and rice salad and stuffed peppers all with a salsa that mum made from her own garden!!!! VERY impressive and SO good to hug another sister or two....

    I'd like to tuck my beak under my wing and take a nice nap on the water (though it's too cold for that today (for me), here in Seattle.)
