Dear Beach Friends, Lifes a Beach, And my friends on-line are the best! I am stopping in to send a hug to all before I crash. My friend ask me if my lymphedema was worse, I ask her why, She told me my belly was bigger. I was in shock that people can say that. Well I am very tired and swollen, So I think I will sigh out with hugs for all the beach babies. You all are a shell in the sand, A specail gift from above and you are never alone! Love, Debbie

I've never had a manicure or pedicure ever.  I keep my nails really really short for typing all day and other stuff so always felt a manicure would be a waste of money.  And I just can't stand to have anyone touch my feet.  I'm very very ticklish on my feet and I would probably pass out if anyone tried to give me a pedicure.

Oh...I think Faith just found us a Beach mascot.  Billtion....what a cool dog!  Well, you guessed it Beach Angels.  I'm off and running again (literally) and have to commute today to the main office an hour away.  Gonna cost a small fortune to fill up the car for the trip.  The weekend can't get here fast enough.

Sahalie, Spar and Lisa...try to behave while I'm gone.  I mean it!  Tongue out

Faith -- have fun with the concerts.  You're almost done.

    Surprise song of the day!

Novermber sunrise over Rehoboth Beach 07

the sun is rising over the beach and it will be another hot one so the beach is the place to be.

Love the mascot, might ought to find him a bathing suit

We could have a pedicure party amoung ourselves and then it would be fun and not cost anything

Goodmorning, I am going to have some breakfast and check back later

Will do Jaz.  Love you.  Drive safe and hurry back home!

I have to say to all first GOOD Morning.  And.

If you haven't listened to Jaz's song for the day for us yesterday please do yourself a favor and

    go listen to it.

    These lyrics:

There's a place in the sun that she's never been
Where life is fair and time is a friend
Would she do it the same as she did back then
She looks out the window and wonders again

    Is there life out there.

    *

Thoughts like those are a part of the reason I took the big step and took

my family on a vacation of all vacations last year and we are going

    again this year.

We found the place of Sun, where life is fair and time is a friend.

If you are at all able to do something in your lives you have always wanted

    to do.

    Do it . . . NOW.

    Don't wait.

I remember sitting at the breakfast table with my dh one morning talking

about what we want to do when the kids are grown.

    Then Boom.

He was taken from us way to early.  Out of the blue.

    Three weeks after my mastectomy.

Life in 2006 was unbelievable.  Painful.  I was so scared.

So Yes there is life out there.  We have to go to it.

It won't come to us.  Take that step off the edge and go find

an adventure or place of YOUR life time.

    Always remember*

    There is LIFE out there.

Wow!  That is an awesome post, Sahalie.  I so agree that you should not put things off.  I always planned so much 'when I retired' and then one day 4 years ago wondered if I would ever get the chance.  So hopefully, next year I'm going to do what I've always wanted...take a Mediterranian cruise.  I want to see Greece, Rome, and so much more.

What a horrible year you had in 2006.  Hugs.

Well, just one more hour before I have to get out on the freeway.  I'm always careful, its the other crazy drivers that have me worried.

Oh my sahalie, I had no idea that you lost your dh, my heart breaks for you.  Was it a heart attack (if its not too painful to talk about)

You are one strong woman and still have a refreshing sense of life.

Since the big C word we have done so many things we had planned, like a trip to Oregon

I had always wanted a weeping willow tree in my front yard but dh always said no for one reason or another.  Well, on his day off I came home from work and there was the most beautiful weeping willow tree (not a baby one either)

We have canoed down rivers (nearly died getting thrown out in class IV rapids in Colorado)

dug for diamonds, walked beaches in all around the US and we keep planning and do it soon instead of later.

God bless you and here is a breastsister that will always admire you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now how about that pedicure party?  Whose house or whose beafch?

Spar -- wow, what great adventures you have had!  Did you get all your food cooked?  How about some steaks on the beach this evening?  I can bring the potato salad.  I agree, Sahalie is one amazing and strong woman.

Got to love that face!  And the denim.

With the air as it is we are still on an air quality alert.

So early morning is the only time to water and get things done.

See you all in a bit.

Here. Here!! I second the motion aleady underway that we jump into life -- to the very best of our ability and means, take risks, step outta our comfort zones, and leap tall buildings in a single bound.

We are superwomen. We are survivors. We are unsung heros. We are family.

We have so much to learn from each other. Sahalie gives us courage just by osmosis of realizing what one can go thru...... to emerge with clarity and vision and enthusiasm on the other side.

Spar we want more details of your adventures!! And you have your weeping willow.

Much like my DH planning our trip to Aruba -- while I was in the midst of radiation's gnarly grasp. He knew there would be another day. One of celebration.

I just had THE most incredible concert. So perfect in every way. I am soooooo fortunate to have the opportunity to forge another chapter. Last night's was awesome too, just totally different.

    Last night a mom of two sons came in early to the library. Her younger son (about 8 years old I'd guess) is relagated to a life in a wheel chair. He has NO language. Not one utterance that's understandable. Her 10 year old must be a genius. He told me "You're quite successful to have a small business that prospers in these economic times." {thought I'd fall over and run for oxygen}

They ended up staying for my performance. Her wheelbound son squreeched and skwaked very, very loudly when I started playing the guitar -- he was soooooooooooooo excited. There were very young children in attendance and I thought they'd be worried.

so I stopped and had everyone greet Cayden and told them he was very excited and we need not be concerned. all the little kids said "HI Cayden!!!" and then we went on with the show.......

the littles were never concerned again and Cayden got wrapped up in the fun and settled into quieter appreciative squeels..........

Ladies think of that young mom and the road ahead of her. We have much to be grateful for.

    xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx

Jaz, glad that you like Billiton -- i thought he'd be the mascot we need...... Spar find him some swim wear, please.

hugs to you, Celia, Iris and Angel who need to take vacations from the beach. I'll have chairs readied for each of you -- whenever you want    where's our new buddie ob&j? there's room for all

Faith -- what an amazing story.  I hope you are keeping some kind of journal of these stories of faith and perseverance.

Celia - just wanted to say 'hello' to you and hope your day is going well.   You are missed here and I hope you are back soon.

Shiny Black & Gold Bikini Top (Bottoms Sold Seperately)Bad Ass Tye Dyed Dog Tank

Here is some shorts and a tank top and a swimsuit.  Can she swim good or does she need a life jacket.

Faith, that kid sounded so grown up its scary. Glad they all enjoyed the music

Alwayshope, yes we cooked most of it.  We cooked up all the sausage this morning, needless to say we will be eating left overs for a while and not cooking which is good  by me.  Aren't microwaves a miracle invention.

I am going now to work on my memory table so all have a great day.  We can all meet on the beach later.
