I did just play a game of Freecell but I've been doing a lot today.

    True

The next person just had dinner

  • miriandra
    miriandra Member Posts: 2,173

Not yet, just had a snack. - DH made chicken soup the other night and had celery left over. No raisins, so we used dark chocolate bits instead to make ants on a log. I definitely prefer chocolate to raisins. :)

The next person doesn't understand their kids' tastes sometimes. (Neither of my kids likes peanut butter - IKR!)

True, in food or in music either!

The next person has started a long put off project

I have been doing some things I'd been meaning to do for a long time, like going through bank statements.

The next person is concerned about having to stay home in lockdown.

Not concerned but can’t wait for it to be over

I don't know, it's time to go to bed soon here.

The next person has planned their meals for this week.

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

Not really. I have an idea what I may make but it's not really planned out.

The next person's job is considered essential so they are working. (Mine is so I am working.)

Nope - DH is the cook in our family (he's much better at it than I), and we're taking it as it goes. Lunches are grazing on leftovers or sandwiches. Dinners are what's available and what he feels inclined to make. Our grocery stores are low on staples and packaged meals, but meats, fruits, and veggies are in good supply.

The next person has been using their creativity more lately.

Nope, the studio is closed until May 1 (unless they extend the closure).

About as much as usual, I guess.

The next person has been watching a lot of TV.

  • miriandra
    miriandra Member Posts: 2,173

Not a lot, but we're getting some of our must-watch binged out. If you like scary films, I highly recommend "The Kingdom" on Netflix. A zombie plague in Joseon era Korea. Only 2 seasons so far, but it looks like a 3rd is in the works. Happy

The next person finished a book this past week.

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

No, not this week. I don't like scary movies, thanks anyway.

The next person likes heartwarming movies.

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

I do. I love the movies on the Hallmark channel.

The next person is feeling overwhelmed by all of the news concerning the COVID-19 virus.

  • aussie-cat
    aussie-cat Member Posts: 5,502

Yes, but I haven't watched news today because it depresses me too much and the shows I watched weren't interrupted with news breaks.

The next person is trying to rush to finish things in case they have to stay home.

    ceanna Member Posts: 3,120

Already been home over a week so not rushing to do anything!!!

The next person called a relative/friend that lives in another state this week to see how they are doing?

    True.

The next person always has a book next to their bed.

  • ceanna
    ceanna Member Posts: 3,120

Nope. Reading keeps me awake and I always want to read just one more chapter or finish a book, so I don't read right before bed, but I do have lots of books to occupy my time right now.

The next person has lots of unread books at home (Thankfully, I do as my library, except for electronic book access, is closed during the duration of the COVID shutdowns)

  • oceanbum
    oceanbum Member Posts: 3,644

I do have a lot of unread books at home but I won't be reading any of them. No time. I'm still working.

The next person is enjoying some sunshine today. (We are! Sunny and nearly 70 degrees!)

  • miriandra
    miriandra Member Posts: 2,173

I did! The kids and I walked down to the neighborhood soccer field to kick a ball around and be outside. Saw lots of other walkers, and everyone said "Hi" from a safe distance.

The next person is still waiting for flowers to bloom.
