    Hi Dana~~This is a really great list, isn't it? There are 4 of us that keep bumping it so new people can find it.



    I'm sorry you have a need to be here, but this whole forum is a wealth of information, tips, support, laughter, love, and its a great place to vent.

    May I add that taking pro-biotics might be very helpful. My OBGYN told me to take them after I had to go in for a rampant yeast infection that began during chemo. Not supermarket yogurt, but serious pro-biotics sold at health food stores. I buy chewable tablets now and take them daily.

    Hi Paula...yes this board ROCKS with great info...my chemo will start in a couple weeks so getting prepared.



    Thanks Hortense...I am prone to yeast infections generally...som i will an eye on that!

    Hortense~~Thanks for that reminder. I took acidophilus everyday during AC, and tried to eat a yogurt everyday too. I figured, just like that protects you from a vaginal yeast infection when you take anti-biotics, acidophilus would protect from thrush.



    To prevent mouth sores I rinsed my mouth several times a day with a mixture of 1 TBS baking soda & 1TBS salt in a quart of water. I got in the habit of doing it each time I used the restroom. Just rinse for 30 seconds or so, and spit it out. I NEVER got a single mouth sore.
