Although our medical teams treat our physical ailments, our physical and spiritual lives are in your hands. We trust your promise to sustain us according to your perfect plans for us. My prayer is that all of our BC sisters on this thread and elsewhere will be brought closer to you during this journey we must take while facing this disease head-on and doing so with courage and a sense of peace in the midst of the storm in which we are tossed in these days. May we enjoy this weekend with loved ones and remember to give you praise for all things. May we remember the purpose of the holiday and give thanks accordingly to those who have fought for the freedoms we enact every day & often take for granted, one of which is worshiping you. Please be with DoubleD as she prepares for surgery June 30th. You know her anxiety about dying during surgery and leaving her son all alone without a mother. Please comfort her and give her confidence in her doctors. Help her to be at peace with her decisions. Amen.
