Lord lift us up. Shelter us with Your wings. Protect, heal and comfort us and all the bc ladies here. We confess our need of You and You alone. We cast our idols at Your feet, the holy and sovereign God of the universe. Help us to see with Your eyes what You would have us do with this day that You have made. Thank You Lord for being our Daddy. We give You all the praise and the glory in Jesus precious name. Amen.

This is a new day, Father. Let me begin it by reaching for
Your guiding hand. I want to do my best for You in all I do
and say. What can I do for another today? Help me be sen-
sitive and do unnoticed things for those around me. Help
me be mindful of the opportunities to show acts of courtesy
were ever I go. Let me take an extra step and share Your
love with others. Most of all, remind me at day's end to es-
pecially demonstrate love to my family.
It's strange how these things pump energy and warmth
into me, Lord. Perhaps it is approval of Your Holy Spirit
working. Even if things go wrong and events all seem up-
hill, still I know You have used me as Your instrument to
make life a little better for those around me.
Thank You for remaining close and showing me what
I can do for others today. As You and I work together, I
enjoy Your loving, kind ways more. Thank You for giving
Yourself to me. Thank You for showing me how to give of
myself. Amen

I ask for your help and comfort to be with Kathllen and her family as she battles ovarian cancer and is probably terminal at this point and close to hospice care. Please help them find the resources they need to care for her. Please keep her comfortable until she can rest in your arms and be in pain no more.
