    Dear Foots,

    Your prayer, that starts with If God knows your thoughts, your heart...is so powerful. I read it last night when I was sleepy, and recognized how powerful it is. I just re-read it this morning, and it is one of my favorites. It is so calming and reassuring.

    Thank you so much Foots.  Keep the faith friend, please. These are hard times for sure, we are standing right next to you.

    Dear Lord, Please bless our dear Foots. Wrap your loving arms around her. Hear her pleas and comfort her with your everlasting arms. For all those here that are suffering physically or emotionally, we ask your comfort and healing. Please, Lord, we beg you to minister to the sisters here who are seeking You, and seeking to be strengthened by Your love and our prayers to You. May Your name be lifted up. In Jesus name. Amen

    Foots,

    I see your heart, and I see your work. Continue to walk the walk, knowing we are walking alongside you. If you fall, we will pick you up, if you cry, we will wipe your tears. Have faith in yourself and your ministry. Stay steadfast and and true to yourself, do not falter and do not waiver. Ask for help when you need it, and be open to God's help. I have no doubt that He is reaching out to you, and setting things in motion for you to get help for you in anyway you need. Have Faith and Trust.

     I purchased a book from the Hospital gift store the other day, and it's titled Love Never Fails, Promises to Warm the Heart. I was looking through to find a verse for you, and one by Billy Graham caught my eye.

    It is in the chapter called, No Matter What:

    Get a pure heart from God and you can be supremely happy no matter what the circumstances and no matter what is going on around you.

    God Bless your dear neighbors and their daughter. May God guide her care, direct her medical teams and give her family strength. Lord, please send your Healing Angels to be by her side, and may her parents feel your Peace and Serenity together. May this feeling of Peace wash over them, and continue to be carried to them by the wind. May they hear the message of Peace in the wind that rustles the leaves on the trees. May the Angels descend on their house now, and stay be their sides until their daughter is well.

    LOL!  Although Big Red is a terrific cinnamon gum...no, we aren't speaking of that...  :)  Trying to get those Nebraska Cornhuskers to win this week!  :)

    Lord, I thank you for all our sisters who continue to lift us up to you and especially for our precious Foots.  We know how amazing she is Lord but you know every hair on her head and her love for you is unending.  Please touch her and all my sisters in that special way that can only come from you, dear Jesus.

    help her to find some insurance to help her, Bless the doctors

    that they may a way to take out the tumor out of her. Please

    help them find someone to help with the cost. Please bless

    PRAISE REPORT!!

    Exactly two weeks ago I realized that the art portfolio which carried the last five years ++++ of my artwork, all of the illustrations for my picture book printed just a few days before this happened, had somehow been "lost" on the street outside of a convention center in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

    We had dirven 11.5 hours away from the scene of the debacle when I realized what had happened. The next morning at dawn, a dear friend of our family posted "REWARD" posters all around the campus.

    The first couple of days of the loss, I sat in a stupor. Gradually I enlisted everyone I could think to help pray for support and answers.

    TODAY. Just before 1:30, my husband brought the portfolio back into our home. I dropped to my knees for the first hour. Finally I was able to unzip it & lay my fingers on the quilts..... they were all present.

    My husband had gone down to the campus this morning to scour the convention center & speak directly to the security office. He saw that the reward-posters were still flying. No sooner had he gotten into his car and picked up our grand-niece up the road at OSU, did his cell phone ring & student Missy had the portfolio in her hands. She had read the poster and realized that the portfolio "stashed" in the computer lab for the past two weeks was the one on the poster.

    God is good. All the time.

    I feel as though I have experienced my own personal resurrection and Prodigal Daughter story, all rolled into one. Just this morning I was finally in prayer, saying that I was "willing" to forgive myself, though I didn't know how.

    I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo thrilled. I am so in awe that the prayers of such an amazing & diverse group of people have been answered. This work will give me a platform to share with children for the rest of my life...... on the connection between art & reading.

    My good fortune will color the rest of my days on this planet.

    Footie. Thank you for your steadfast prayers on my behalf, when I was unable to piece any words together. Heaven heard the ache in my heart.
