    dear Lord, help us to realize your love and grace for us even in the hard times. May we turn towards you instead of away. Help us feel Your warm embrace, and if there is anyway to ease the pain these women are going through, I implore you to intercede and help them. We all need rest, so we can fight again, and live to the best of our ability, with Your loving help of course. Help,us realize also, that You are the Lord of our life, and that is a beautiful thing.

    Take very good care of faith until she is reunited with Debbie

    In your Sons precious name Jesus

    Amen

    I am very glad to find this thread. As a Christian woman who is doing my best to walk in faith, some of the other threads cause me to be fearful. I'm working on staying positive, believing what God's word says, and claiming my healing!

    Psalm 91

    1 I will live in the shelter of the Most High
    will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
    2 This I declare about the Lord:
    He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
    he is my God, and I trust him.
    3 For he will rescue me from every trap
    and protect me from deadly disease.
    4 He will cover me with his feathers.
    He will shelter me with his wings.
    His faithful promises are my armor and protection.
    5 I will not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
    nor the arrow that flies in the day.
    6 I will not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
    nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
    7 Though a thousand fall at my side,
    though ten thousand are dying around me,
    these evils will not touch me.
    8 I will open my eyes,
    and see how the wicked are punished.

    9 I make the Lord my refuge,
    I make the Most High my shelter,
    10 no evil will conquer me;
    no plague will come near my home.
    11 For he will order his angels
    to protect me wherever I go.
    12 They will hold me up with their hands
    so I won't even hurt my foot on a stone.
    13 I will trample upon lions and cobras;
    I will crush fierce lions and serpents under my feet!

    14 The Lord says, "I will rescue those who love me.
    I will protect those who trust in my name.
    15 When they call on me, I will answer;
    I will be with them in trouble.
    I will rescue and honor them.
    16 I will reward them with a long life
    and give them my salvation."

    Heavenly Father, let us never take for granted each day you give to us. Let us be aware of all good and give thanks for everything we see. Help us remember what is important; family, friends, love, and life. Open our eyes to the needs of others that we may honor your love by showing support and encouragement to our fellow sisters and brothers.

    Amen.

    "Oh Lord, sometimes my insides feel like a battle zone, where missiles are falling too close to home. Other times I'm caught in an endless storm, with thoughts flying out of control. Confusion reigns, and defeat creeps in to steal my joy. I need your peace—the deep-down-in-your-heart kind that stays with me day and night and speaks confidently into the wind. Calm my anxious spirit, Lord; all the attacking "if-onlys" and "what-ifs" fill me with needless worry.

    I know that trust is a big part of experiencing peace and that fear has no place in my life. Most of the things I worry about or dread don't even happen. So I'm declaring my trust in you. I'm releasing the reins of my life again and asking you to take control. I may need to pray this same prayer daily, but I'm tired of the frenzy of life that leaves my schedule and my thoughts without any margin. I need more of you, Lord, and less of me.

    I surrender and admit: I can't control people, plans, or even all my circumstances, but I can yield those things to you, and focus on your goodness. Thank you today for every good gift you've given, every blessing you've sent, all the forgiveness I did not deserve, and, yes, for every trial you've allowed into my life. You bring good out of every circumstance if I'll only let go and believe you. I know that when I pray and give thanks instead of worrying, you have promised that I can experience the kind of peace that passes all understanding. That's your kind of peace, Lord. And it's the kind I crave.

    Whenever I'm stressed, anxious, or afraid, help me remember to run to you. You're the only one that can calm my fears and end my fretful behavior. Whether in trivial or heavy matters, I know you will not only give me peace; Lord, you will be my peace. And when I draw close to you—in prayer, in reading your Word, in helping another, in taking my mind off myself—you will be there, up close and personal.

    I can't handle these times alone, Lord. Will you speak peace and calm my storms, or hold my hand while we walk through them together? Will you bring the reassuring wisdom of those who have come through similar times into my life? Thank you, Lord. I'm trusting you.

    In the name of the One who makes the wind and the waves stand still, Amen."

    Heavenly Father, we are weary. Our energy is sagging, and our motivation is lagging. And we are so in need of you. We need your strength and your fresh touch to get back on track again. Your Word says the joy of the Lord is our strength. If that's true, then we need your joy to replace all the bone-tired parts of our minds, bodies, and souls.

    The pressures of life sometimes push us into a corner, rendering us helpless to move forward. A hundred voices call our name, and we feel paralyzed at times to answer, not knowing where to turn. Lord, help us not to quit, to keep running the race faithfully, and to find strength in that safe, secret place of yours, under the shadow of the Almighty.

    Amen

    Heavenly Father, "help me to hear you saying, "I am your hope" over all the other voices. Lord, your word says, you are the hope for hopeless so I'm running to you with both hands stretched out and grabbing on to you. Fill me up with hope and give me a tangible reminder today that hope is an unbreakable spiritual lifeline (Hebrews 6:19-20). God, you know those things in my heart that I barely dare to hope for, today I give them to you, I trust them to you, and ask that you because I know that you can do more than I could ever guess, imagine or request in wildest dreams (Eph 3:20). God, you are my hope and I trust you. "

    Amen.
