    Thinking about you and praying as you go through these tests Genia.  Isn't it great to know that our Lord is right there beside us - Wow.

    Glad you made it thru your biopsy without too much pain.  I'm praying that it's just scar tissue, as your dr. thinks...

    May I step outside of the box?  I have been reading this thread of beautiful prayers by beautiful people and I have a special request for prayer.  My friend, who is 79, is learning today that the surgery she had yesterday showed lung cancer.  She is a retired nurse, my daughter in law's mother, and such a kind and energetic person.  This will be hard. Her husband is torn apart that he may be losing her.  We try to tell him that cancer is not the death sentence that it used to be, but he is stubborn and doesn't accept that statement very easily.  She has been keeping tabs on me as I walk through this breast cancer dx and treatment and now I'm hoping for minimal SE's from my chemo so that I can be there for her.  Please pray for my friend, Dottie and her husband, Don.  They have four daughters and one son.  Their son is currently dying from liver disease after two liver transplants.  I know it is all so depressing, but we need a big boost of grace from our Lord.  Will you join us in asking Him?  Thank you all.  Karen

    Lord, lifting up all my sisters here, their families and friends who are in need.  You alone are our strength and in you we place our trust.  We lift our voices in praise of you, Oh awesome God.  We don't know what tomorrow holds and cannot understand fully your ways but we know you hold us within your loving arms and in that we rest comfortably.

    Special prayers for Genia, Spar, Foots, Harley and Dottie and Don, dear Lord Jesus.  That you will let them feel the strength that comes from faith in you.

    her hurt so much and help her. We are grateful for all the good
