Microcurrent Facial - safe?

I've reached my 10 year anniversary from BC and am doing some nice things for myself to celebrate.  I had a microdermabrasion treatment of my face, neck and non-LE hand.  It didn't seem to cause any swelling or redness and I"m wondering about doing my right hand someday.  Next, I'm scheduled for a series of microcurrent firming treatments and am wondering if that might cause any problem with my lymphedema.  My arm has minimal swelling and stays pretty much under control.  Have any of you ladies had this treatment?  I've not checked in for a while - hope everyone is doing OK this hot summer.
