Have we heard anything about whether MBCers with other, “BRCA-like" (DNA repair gene) mutations - such as CHEK2, which I have - will be eligible for Lynparza, if not now, soon?
I know of at least one clinical trial looking at another PARP inhibitor in non-BRCA, inherited mutations (a talazoparib trial at Stanford: https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02401347 - see cohort arm 2). But that's only at one location and requires measurable disease.
Would love to hear PARP inhibitors are becoming more accessible to those of us with non-BRCA mutations, either through trials or exceptions to narrowly approved drugs like this one.

Please let me know if you know anything about below research for recurrences:
Another very interesting area my RO's research (RO in Vancouver) is into blood tests for early cancer DNA. Not the same as tumor marker tests, but simpler and could only cost $150. I will ask him about this and if it could be used to identify early BC recurrence:
Also, is there any research into how many women who had undergone a lumpectomy did not have a recurrence? What is the percentage of women who did not have any other cancer after her lumpectomy say for 10 years or longer?
