A bit of inspiration for the new year......

Jazzy, those first few are the most difficult for this hermit - I really like my couch and the computer chair I'm sitting on.

Magiclight- you can take any part of this you like! Going to bed early is my new favorite thing!

One of the joys of winter is that I can start to curl up in my jammies shortly after it gets dark. Flannel used to be my favorite but now I'm wrapped in fleece pants and shirts during the day and a long fleece robe come evening. I too like the early bed part and not having to wake up until after 7 when it gets light out.

Hi everyone! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! Love the posts and so sorry I went into my hermit crab shell. Treatments, work and toddlers exhausted me to where I would just only have energy to read. My last Herceptin and therefore last treatment was December 22nd so I can't wait for more and more energy and less achy joints and body! I have my reconstruction surgery on 1/18.
I always remember you all fondly and hope you are doing well! And enjoyed getting together with loved ones during the holidays. I know I did enjoy them but boy it wiped me out so much! Xox

Happy New Year Georgia, it is good to hear from you. Isn't it wonderful to be finished treatment and moving on to reconstruction, the last step. Celebrating Christmas with young ones does zap your engery. Next year at this time it will be all behind you and you will feel much better,
I have my exchange surgery in the spring and then I am done , that will be three years since my diagnose. I have some lingering side effects, but I have my energy and stamina back, and I am moving forward and not looking back

Georgia I live in Canada and the PS does not see you until you are one year from radiation. I saw her in February and the surgery was in august and fills were finished in December. I would have had the diep flap if I had known it would take this long. The surgeon is a very talented 35 or so women

Been busy in the house this last week

Probably not. Have other plans but I haven't given up going to school.

Nope. Was going to try and find a part-time job as soon as I can. It can help with lowering the cost of school for me

Mommy- good to hear you are going to look for some PT work to help fund education. Don't forget to look into grant programs too.

Yep

Teka- good luck with the snow.
Lot of intense weather everywhere. The south has had the worst tornadoes. I talked to my sister tonight in southern CA and they were getting three inches of rain per hour.
That is coming our way next

Getting rain coming our way later from a Nor'easter but don't mind it at all. We really need the rain

Ha ha, is that Teka's paw?
0 -
Teka, the picture of the cat's paw snatching the cookie so resembles my Princess when I have something that she wants too.
