The day after my 29th birthday. It's amazing to me how many people were diagnosed around their birthdays. Maybe I am just sensitive to it, but seems like a lot of us!

Maybe we all made our annual exams around our birthdays?

Nope, I found mine myself and I think my annual was in January. Plus I don't get mammograms at my age, although my ob/gyn does check for lumps.

yep me too, i found that lump myself.  I have no family history so I never asked to do mammo, my primary Dr never mentioned bout   mammo to me either.  I thought I have to wait till im 40 to do mammogram.  so a few weeks a way before my 39 bday. I had planned with my girlfriends to celebrate my 39 bday n evrything, then one day in the shower i felt  that lump, went to DR, mammo,US,biopsy n.  I am scared to celebrate my birthday now.

    Sparklekat,

Mine was found by mammogram..never felt a lump. Mammogram was done around my birthday. I guess I was thinking about the BC found by mammogram, not self-exam.
