Hawks are beautiful but I would never let my 4 pound chihuahua run around unleashed because I was afraid one would get him!

Feelingfeline- Your story about the falcon was so sad! At least it died quietly alone and not with more suffering thanks to your kindness. My daughter would always intervene, she's been raised watching me. I yelled at my husband on a hot summer day to stop the car so I could remove an injured baby bird from the road. It was suffering on the hot tar and the parents were flapping and hovering. My DH was mad. I took the baby and laid it under a bush in the shade where it could die with it's parents. Tough learning how to fly. I am glad this hawk was lucky and made it. I have rescued all kinds of things as have my parents and grandparents. Random acts of kindness.
