Hi everyone,
I am back at my Mom's house for three weeks. It has been a crazy ride these past few weeks. My CT scan turned up more areas of concern but after some consultation with the doctors I can wait a little on some of them and longer on some others. So that was a relief at least for now.
I am enjoying looking at all the pics posted. Gorgeous as usual.
Very little camera time but......................I got my first ever photos of a Bald Eagle not too far from where I live. It was amazing.

Thank you all so much. I have to say it was one the most exciting photos I have captured. Many people travel to Iowa from here to be able to photograph eagles so I was really fortunate to capture photos not all that far from my house. We are celebrating our Christmas tomorrow for the first time ever because of out of state family and work schedules. This will be different when Christmas Day actually comes. Not sure what I will be doing then but more than likely hanging out with my Mom at her facility she lives in now. She is 94 and her memory gets more challenging as time passes.

It looks like a protea. They're originally from South Africa, but I know they grow them in Hawaii now too.

Wren, I guess they can grow in San Diego..but I can't remember if I took that where it was sheltered ...I will keep my eye out ..
