    Medicare only pays for a DEXA every two years. If you had your last one on Dec 10th, they will not schedule the test for Dec 9th two years down the road.

    Minus - thanks for the info about Medicare - I only have Part A for now as we have health insurance through DH work, but that will be changing next year. Since I went off AIs I've only had them every 2 years - on AIs annually. I think protocol is every other year for most insurance company.
