"lymphovascular invasion is present" but negative nodes

    I had LVI also. I'm not sure the extent of it and at this point Im scared to know. My lymph nodes were clear though. I was a stage 1 but grade 3 and my onco score was a 28, at age 44, I had to do chemo but no radiation, since I had double mastectomy.

    I had "suspicion of LVI" and ITCs in one node. I have no idea what it means exactly. I did chemo though, so I doubt there is much more they'd do for it.

    Anyone had Lymphovascular invasion, in the report said rare foci involvement? Did you guys know what does it mean?

    I didn't have LVI but I think "rare foci involvement" means that there is not much. So rather than a significant presence of LVI, you have just a few isolated areas.
