Good morning. It is warmer. The cats are happy and running around playing cat games.

4 bears some resemblance to a Pilates pose, but 9 is my fave.

I think I'm a #8. I'm so tired of having the head cold and cough that's almost a week. I just want to whimper "enough already" and start feeling better.

    Hey Guys,

Well I am a foster mom! My current situation is not conducive to puppies or dogs so I am only taking cats/kittens. It is great fun, sometimes heartbreaking but in the end very rewarding. It gives me purpose. We all need purpose and a reason for being.

Good for you!!! I’d be a foster fail, Spookie wouldn’t allow any more critters in her house anyway. 😂😂

First time out I failed. I would post her pic but I totally computer illiterate. She came to me a year old but only 7 pounds and so filthy. When she reached her weight and grooming herself she was ready for adoption but I couldn't let her go. Since then I lost a sick kitten and that was devastating but I have had a few successes since. I want to adopt them all but I get great joy when they are adopted into happy homes. Thankfully they are not caged for long or I would need run down to get them.

Not Broken, We have fostered for 30 years. Started out with dogs and then switched to cats. I've only had 2 fails. Mocca, a torti with tortitude (now deceased) and our current cat, Squeakers. It's really rewarding. Kittens are tricky. They warned us that we shouldn't foster kittens if we couldn't deal with losing one. We tried bottle babies about 2 years ago. After day 3 of feedings every 2-3 hours, my brain was not working at all. I don't know how I did it with babies. There were 5 of them, so there wasn't much time between the last one's bottle and the first one's next bottle. Our last foster was fospice, who was with us for 2 yrs 4 mos. We're taking a break right now because we think it's hard on our cat as he gets older.

I am in central florida just south of Ocala. We don't have iguanas this far north (I don't think!). Just tons of little geckos. I had to bring my orchids into the lanai the other night because of the cold and had two geckos that also came in to keep warm! Snickers gives chase for a few minutes but then gets bored so she leaves and goes in for a nap. What a life that girl has!

Petite - are you anywhere near me?

We had geckos in Houston that would occasionally get into the house. If a cat pounces on the tail, it will break off and then regrow.

I’ve heard the ones with red on their heads are poisonous. Spookie chasedthem when she was younger.

Nope. I trimmed their nails the night before. Hubby helped me quickly make them purritos after their baths.
