This is my 9 year old Pierre. He was born at the Humane Society. He is my 60 lb. lapdog. He becomes very jealous when the cats and small dogs are sitting on my lap.image

Jackson is really adjusting well to his tiny “sister" Grace. They both eat in the living room. This morning they looked right at each other in a break in the chow session and went right back to eating.

The time change has turned me into an insomniac. My 3 small dogs are sleeping peacefully on my bed. I rarely ever feel down but lately I have been more isolative. It's probably from the lack of sleep due to the time change. LOL Im slowly losing my evening light. I need light for my evening runs. The weather is cooler ( 84 degrees today) but should decrease into the 70s soon. With my cataract, I havent been able to drive at night for 6 weeks. Cataract surgery is scheduled for November 26th. I cannot wait. I'm through moaning and groaning. Physically, I feel great. I hope the rest of your adjusting to the time change better than I have. I've never been a morning person

Wow, this thread fills up fast, and with cute dog pics so that’s a GOOD thing! 🐶🐶

magiclight, jo6359 and others - thank you for the well wishes and the same to you. So far so good into my second week of radiation now. No side effects yet, I’m staying hopeful.

Spookiesmom - oh my, what a fur ball cutie spookie is! Happy 9th year!

Micmel - so sweet how your Deephgee looks after you.

Rah2464 - love your pic with your pup smiling just behind you!

And hello to Jackson and Pierre!

Jo6359 - sending well wishes for your cataract surgery.

To all - here is little Domino who is allowed to come with me to my radiation appointments as she’s been certified as a support dog. She brightens up the place for everyone! The staff let’s her watch me get set up then they walk her out of the room during radiation and back in after. Having this little one with me has been SOooo helpful. Dogs are good for our mental well being, aren’t they?

Hi micmel - you might be able to train and certify Deeohgee! I got Domino certified through https://www.certapet.com/ - she's emotional support. Had some tragic losses this past year, ironically before the breast cancer hit. Anyways let's just say if I seem to have good and positive spirit, little Domino helps quite a bit with that! She IS really well behaved so that helps too.

jo6359 - YES, and what's nice is she's also bringing some joy to others in the waiting room while we await the radiation. Some people think she's a therapy dog because she's essentially doing that too!

Good night ladies and fellow paw moms!

PebblesV that Domino is way too adorable. I bet she does brighten everyone's day when you go for treatments. And yes our four footed babies are so very crucial in our journeys!

thanks ladies. He's a little love for sure.

And how did you know he was snoring. ?? Lol

Quite loudly and like a grown old man. Wait I guess that's what he really is. Lol. I just love them when they lay in their little beds. The floors get so drafty. I am one of those crazies that has to have a fan on turbo every night to sleep for the noise. So I know it gets chilly. I had to make sure my babies were taken care of. They are honestly like children right ? Lol keep warm.

, image...........Here is my other guy on the other side of the bed. He has his own blanket as well that was under the bed. When he gets too hot he goes under the bed and sleeps. The beds are a great size. Wayfair is an amazingly addicting website lol just sayin.
