Oh XMAS Tree. My Sachi in her Christmas outfit. She's probably thinking being rescued isn't worth this humiliation.

OK baby Finnegan's big eyes and Sachi's Christmas tree outfit (complete with the star headwear no less!) just made my day. 🐶🐶
I am 24 out of 30 radiation sessions done today and I'm doing pretty well. I think it's because I get to bring my little Domino with me (I mean who can be fatigued when traveling with this pup pup) and they've dubbed her “The Domino Effect" over at check in because she's got this effect of making everyone smile when we walk in.
Here she is accompanying me to treatment!

pebbles- it's hard not to smile when you look at Pebbles. She has the most expressive eyes. I just want to cuddle with her

jo6359 - this one's for you. From the little Domino!

Thanks for all the compliments on my Finnegan! Jo6359 he is 4 will be 5 in April. We got him when he was 8 weeks old. 💕

Pebbles- she is just adorable! How awesome that you had her during treatment!

These are by furbabies: Pippin (the Shiba/Husky mix) and Dobby (Corgi). Picture is from a few years ago as I haven't been in the celebrating mood lately.
We also take in foster pups from time to time. The last one I took in just before my lump was discovered should be going to his forever home (fingers crossed) just before I start chemo.

Hello Domino!! So darn cute I can’t take it.
Gotta love it when they are able to go to treatment with you. My hound dog would rip up the place, but having a huge smile during it. Lol.
He’s precious. !

And yes I agree Finnigan looks like a puppy still. Handsome puppers for sure.

Micmel - LOL our bigger dog Tucker would probably do that as well. Yes Domino is extremely well behaved! I think the radiation therapists and check-in agents are actually going to miss her when I'm done with treatments! They have dubbed her "The Domino Effect".
Tri-lady - thank you! Yeah they've been very accommodating at Kaiser, I think it might also be because the supervisor is super pet friendly. But I just asked that first week if I could bring her and they said yes, as long as I had paperwork (I do), and honestly I have not felt fatigued through this and I think it's because Domino coming along makes it a much better experience.
MLanne - the holiday picture is darling. Hope everything goes smoothly for you with the chemo.
Jo6359 - of course!
Here are a couple more pics today, of Domino and her big brother Tucker, smiling to help their 'paw mom' celebrating being done with the 25 full sessions of radiation! I have 5 more to go but they are the more localized boosts, so hopefully I can continue to hold up pretty well. Honestly, bringing little Domino with me to treatment and then taking Tucker for a nice walk when I come home just after treatment has been helping keep my energy and mental state up I think. I mean, how could you not have good energy when you look at this:

Pebbles~
Tucker is so cute. Is he part Corgi?
I would love to take Dobby, my Corgi, with me everywhere I go but he is kind of an emotional support dog for Pippin, the Shiba/Husky mix, who hates to be left alone.

MLAnne - Tucker is a rescue, we know he's part border collie, and we "think" the other part is Australian Shephard, but it's entirely possible the other part is Corgi, especially when I look at your picture! Tucker is smaller than other border collies, and goodness he kind of looks like Dobby... I honestly never thought of that possibility until now, and now I think it's a big possibility!
My husband likes to joke that I am Domino's emotional support. That little one is very attached to me and must come with me anywhere. It's debatable, according to my husband, whether bringing her along is actually for me or for her LOL. Tucker gets a treat when we go off to radiation treatment and once he has it in paw, completely ignores us on the way out, and I come home and he's napping, so I think he's OK with it!

omg too much cuteness around here. Dogs are just perfect creative creatures. Loving hugging kissy fluffy fluffy, keeping me company everyday companions.

Busted. I didn't pee on the Christmas tree. The cat did it.

omg the same thing every year for us also. This year the trees aren’t going up until that week. Our carpets are new. They just seem to think we placed this tree in the house for them. Lol good grief.

My dogs are housetrained but the primal instincts kick in when they see a tree. I swear they believe the trees are a gift for them.

Tell them it’s NOT indoor plumbing for doggies 😂😂

HaHa..it has never occurred to me that boy fur babies would spot the Christmas tree 🌲 and pee 😲🤣
