Small moments - there is also a de Novo specific thread, though it tends to be a little less active (not many of us!) and is usually on the second page of results.

Hi all! I haven't posted in a long while. Original dx in 2000 with Stage II.

I'm Stage IV, dx in Oct 2012 - lungs and bones. This nearly my 9th anniversary from that dx. From 2014 to just very recently I was stable, and only took Letrozole from 2013 on.

Just found out I have progression. Doc to do a PET scan and also a bone biopsy.

Starting: Zometa, Faslodex and Ibrance in 2 weeks and very scared about all the side effects I've read about. I know it's not the same as a chemo drug, but a lot of the SE's look familiar. I have read that I-F can do great things. I am really hopeful too.

I am so grateful that these threads exist and for each of you.

    Love -

    LL

    hello everyone,

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017, it has returned to her bones and now the bone marrow. Shen was having trombocypenia after each cycle of palbociclib and the shot of fulvestrant. We went to the hematologist oncologist and she recomended a bone marrow bipsy that she did and it came back positive. The oncologist is prescribing Vincristina for clean the bone marrow and corticoids. The oncologist says it is better for my mom to be hospitalized so they can run all treatments, radiation, vincristina, palbociclib and block pain, but my mom is not sure about being hospitalized, since she was before and developed and bacteriamia and had covid in the hospital.

I appreacite Any input, idea, support . I adore my mom

Love and strength ht to everyone

    Thank you

    Juliana

Hello. I guess I get to advance to the Stage 4 club. Not a club I really ever wanted to join, but I'll bet there are lots of wonderful people here, regardless. Smile

    Feb. 4, 2020, dx Stage 2, Grade 3 ER/PR+, HER2-

Nov. 4, 2021, dx Stage 4, mets to liver and lymph nodes, ER+/PR-/HER2-

I'll update my profile when I can. The page wouldn't open for me today, for some reason.
