So excited for you Peachy..I found out today I only have 2 more taxol treatments and not three. My last chemo will be on October 13th..a week after that I will get Herceptin only and only Herceptin every three weeks for 9 months I think. I am also getting a brain MRI on the 11th because I am getting reoccurring dull headaches. Will also get an abdominal ultrasound because I continue to have this abdominal pain. I am so excited to have one less chemo then I thought. I must have miscounted somehow. So anyway another Taxol/last Perjeta/ and Herceptin in the books..ready to ride out the week and go out for breakfast in the am..have a great weekend ladies..hoping all of our side effects are mild for all of us.

2 weeks ago today, I finished my TCHP chemo. I didn’t take any vitamin supplements except B6 for neropathy during chemo. I’m still feeling very exhausted. I did lose 25 pounds while on chemo but I am starting to eat more now. Anyway does anyone take multivitamins to help with recovery or also tne supplement Guana? It says it’s some energy supplement. Just looking for any help.
Congratulations for everyone finishing up! I literally teared up seeing your pics! I still have Herceptin every 3 weeks until April but my oncologist said don’t start that until after my surgery. Just waiting on my breast MRI before surgery :

Paulette.... we will ring that bell together!!! I forgot to ask about my blood counts today, they must have been good because I got chemo.
0 -
Susie - my blood count went down a little but HGB stayed the same. Whatever I ate it seemed to work. So I will continue eat more red meat

Good luck today Pink on your final treatment.
Congratulations to all who are crossing that finish line. My finish line is Oct 5th (#6 of TCH). I am dreading it and running to it because #5 was tough for me.
My most recent SE is constant muscle twitching - eyes, legs, arms and internally at night when I try to sleep. Anyone else have or had this? I cannot wait to be done so I can move forward.
Prayers to all,
Sue

Congrats Pink! Ring it loud!
hhuey... Maybe after that last Taxol your headaches and abdominal pain will fade. Lord knows this stuff running through us causes all sorts of things.
Kim Oh, I'm sure I'll be asking this group for advice. What would we do without the collective intel all of us have gathered along our journey? Trying not to look too far ahead about surgery decisions until I get the MRI done. It's not easy, though. I still find myself searching for info and the proverbial light to go off that directs me to the decision that is right for me. How do I know what is right for me? I've never been in this situation before.
Dragging a bit today. Feeling heaviness in my limbs which is making me lazy. It's been a rainy morning so that may have something to do with it, too. I have some tingling in the pads of my toes. Not too bad, but what used to be just one toe is now a few and a little bit has started in my fingertips. The folliculitis (bumps) on my head are better. The hibiclens/benzoyl peroxide treatment worked. I mentioned it to the nurse on Thursday and she sent in a script for an ointment just in case it flares up again. Not sure what it is...I have to get to the pharmacy to pick it up. No rush since the bumps are healed and not bothersome anymore. As for hair, I've got a stubbly head but do not feel like the hair is growing much more. Patience...
Wishing you all a peaceful and minimal SE weekend.

LTWJ I asked my MO and he said that it was okay for me to take my multivitamins. I take gummy vitamins (without iron) each day however, I would ask your doctor, as I have heard a few ladies on here say that there were certain vitamins that their doctor said no to.

Peachy: the first ring was for you.
Will try to post pictures later once I download from the camera.

Pink, Hooray!!! Loving all this bell ringing! Energizes me to know the end is nearing.
I had only about 3 hours sleep again last night, but I have felt rather well today. I did about 30 mins of yard work, trimming hydrangeas and such. My taste is a little off today, but it was rather ok last week. I get restless legs a good bit, but the more I walk them out the better they are. Also chemo brain! Sometimes I just can't think of the easiest words. I would love to get out of this fog!
Peachy, I didn't have much time to think about my decision since it was done early on. Once they realized it was 3x as big as originally thought and I asked my BS if she could get it via LX and she felt confident she could, I stuck with the original LX decision. I truly hope you will get clear answers.
My stubble is growing little by little. I had a weird rash on my right elbow, but I put some zinc oxide on it and it is mostly gone. Then I noticed yesterday I had a similar thing on my right hand, but it went away on its own. Enough of the crazy and odd SEs.
LTWJ, Congrats and best of luck with the surgery. You've got this! Regarding multivitamins, I had been on Vitamin D before BC and Vit C only. So, they were aware and I have not added anything else to the mix.

This is me and my nurse Karen. Happy to be done with chemo. Now onto radiation.
Side effects this round so far not as bad. Slowly losing my taste buds again. Not as much muscle soreness but still a bit weaker than normal. Still in a bit of shock that chemo is actually done. Seems like just yesterday it all started.

Looking good Pink! Congratulations!

Yay Pink!!! Looking good ringing that bell!!
I just came back from a walk around the hood. I did not go as far as I did yesterday. My knees are so stiff. I took a Tylenol this morning but it didn't do anything. Just took some Advil. Hoping it helps. On a positive note..the tingling in my feet seems better today. Little victories!

Beautiful pic, Pink. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully the side effects won't seem so bad knowing it's the last time.

Pink 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 ring that bell!!!

Pink, GREAT picture and HAPPY celebration for the end of your chemo journey! You look wonderful. Well done!! WOOT WOOT! You will do well with radiation! Claiming it for you!
Peachy, I felt 90+ in my left knee yesterday. Got up today, and it felt fine. I went for a brisk 2.2 mile walk with my neighbor. My joints have been aching, and I, too, have had more tingling in my legs/feet. I just try to keep on pushing through. I see the light!! Praying by some miracle they won't want to take any more lymph nodes, but I think that is just a dream. Just get me through chemo and I will take each next step as it comes.

HapB - hope your ache will go away soon, wow, you still have 10 more months of infusion to do! But it is 21 days each so you only have 11 more to go. If the SE is minimal life could go back to normal soon. Good luck with your echo test, I wonder would I need to do a echo after chemo?
Kim - I took a 45 min walk today with uphill I can feel my body is getting tired, will take a little awhile to get back to my old self.

HapB - I did echo before treatment because of AC so I think one of the drug damages my heart also.
0 -
HapB - tbh I do think the chemo did a lot damages to our body we might find out from the future. I’m interested to see how I can put my life back together. I hope our hearts are still good because we can’t deal with more problems.

Congrats Pink!!! You look fabulous ringing that bell!
Hugs to Hap - you are so strong. I am glad radiation is treated you kindly, hopefully the aches and pains will work themselves out now.
I met with a plastic surgeon yesterday to discuss reconstruction options. Was thrilled to hear he thinks I'm a great candidate for direct-to-implant reconstruction without needing tissue expanders. BMX tentatively scheduled for early December assuming chemo continues to go well over the next few weeks. Excited to look forward at this next step.
