    Stacey - fyi, mastectomy greatly reduces the risk of locoregional recurrence but it doesn't reduce risk of metastatic recurrence

    Re "unknown significance" - the one mutation that I came up with was also "variation of unknown significance" -- has now been downgraded to "insignificant." The genetic counselor who oversaw my test phoned me to tell me the update. So the mutation *may* be nothing at all. Good luck with your next steps.
