@McKanit- Kadcyla was much easier for me than taxol. There are no steroids with it, and no icing of the hands and feet either. I felt much better, with only a day or two of feeling like I had a slight hangover. I did have some fatigue. Food tasted normal and gastrointestinal issues were much better. I, too hard diarrhea on taxol but on kadcyla had the opposite problem. I took a stool softener every day and that really helped. If you try it and don't think it's right for you, you can always drop back to herceptin, but for me it was tolerable.

@mckanit Kadcyla was much easier on my system than TCHP, I had SE but they were manageable. The most consistent SEs were constipation and dry mouth. I had 2 nosebleeds over the 14 cycles which was much better than TCHP. Other than that I had swimmers shoulder which is apparently very rare SE and starting around cycle 8 of 14 my ANC/WBC took a dive and I got Neulasta again.

You could always give it a try and then fall back to Herceptin if you're struggling with Kadcyla

Thank you for your info on taking Kadcyla. I appreciate the suggestion about falling back to Herceptin if the Kadcyla did not work out.
