Disturbingly true to life!

"Narrator: A new car built by my company leaves somewhere traveling at 60 mph. The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now, should we initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of failure, B, multiply by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one.
Woman on Plane: Are there a lot of these kinds of accidents?
Narrator: You wouldn't believe.
Woman on Plane: Which car company do you work for?
Narrator: A major one."

Freedom--no word was ever spoken that has held out greater hope, demanded greater sacrifice, needed more to be nurtured, blessed more the giver. . . or came closer to being God's will on earth.

Yes, but that's why readership and viewership of the news numbers are highly unsatisfactory right now. May it continue.

House and Senate may need the same reminder.

Better think a little harder about what you are doing. You can't buy your way into being a tyrant and trying to upstage the other one won't work either.

Another batch that needs to be REPLACED, period. Worthless.

The Corrupter-in-Chief not going to pay much attention to it. He walks into all rooms backward and then fights or positive recognition — for doing everything backwards with all the law-breaking possible.

Need to find a way to end the Democrats having to pick up the pieces of the bad 'presidencies' and then having to turn over their positive admins to someone who will only destroy all the gains. We are doing something wrong here.

If all the poor who have the firepower ever LOOK at who their real culprits are, I know some people who could be in real trouble. And it is not other poor people.

How can you have gotten all the way thru school and in some cases with college degrees and still not be able to do enough math to vote for your personal interests.

This should not have happened and at some point; after taking office, something should have been done to curb the ability for anyone (lawbreaker or not) to run for high office. Fg has never been fit — and we saw that immediately after his first foray. He's nothing but a total grifter who now not only gets all the grifting he can come up with, but gets no penalties of ANY kind thanks to his SC help.

From your mouth to their ears, you'd better believe it.

Has anyone asked how many other people were killed by gunfire in New York on Wednesday? And how much money and staffing is going into finding their killers? At least some are asking how many have died because they were denied medical coverage.
Second rant - I have been recovering from an addiction for over 40 years. One doesn't just quit drinking because one has been rewarded for a behavior. Most don't succeed until they have hit the bottom several times. Getting a plush job won't do it. The addict spends a lot of time in denial or blackouts - the people who drag him/her to bed shouldn't. Beau Biden's spouse didn't when she found the handgun in Hunter's car. Who should we believe will succeed in recovery? Pete or Hunter? Who could help Trump blow up the world?

Taco, I'm so in agreement with you. You really don't just decide one day to give up drinking and do it that day or the next. My first husband was an alcoholic which is why I have a second husband. I would add to your comments which are spot on that intelligence as well has nothing to do with one's ability to become sober. My ex tested at genius level (and I often thought it contributed to his issues), but he tried a number of times. He finally got sober by signing into a recovery facility. Did well, got a job, met a lady he chose to marry and after a yr. or so they did. The day of his third wedding he chose to have one drink to celebrate. He celebrated for the next seven yrs. Sobered up again to keep his third marriage and babies (3 altogether) and stayed sober for a number of years — but once again. Ultimately, he married five times.
