Although I must say, yesterday was the first time I have ever liked Karen Pence as she refused to acknowledge either The Donald or Melania and stayed firmly in her seat with her eyes down as they 'greeted' her husband. Apparently she doesn't approve of people who have tried to kill her husband.

When the casket was leaving the church most had placed their hands over their hearts, neither of the grifters did. There is a photo that made the front page showing this.
I was surprised that the designer of her ugly outfit wasn't a headline yesterday or today. Whatever, it looked like a black Glad construction trash bag with a choir boy style color. Whoever dresses her has taste limited to their mouth.

Betrayal, I am so NOT surprised that the grifters refused the final tribute to Pres. Carter. No one is deserving of anything but them and they stand ready to take it, if you don't give it. Easy to understand why so many people in New York (the true wealthy thought of the Trumps as tawdry, and they are that to the max. Too bad they chose to come at all.

BREAKING: Pope Francis enrages MAGA fans and right-wingers around the world as the Catholic Church announces that priesthood applicants in Italy are now allowed to be gay — so long as they practice celibacy like heterosexual priests.

The New York Times reports that these new guidelines will not alter the Catholic Church's fundamental teachings on homosexuality. Even so, this is a major step in the right direction for inclusivity.
Under these new rules, sexual orientation will not automatically block an applicant from becoming a priest. So far, the changes will only affect Italy.
"This is the first time I’ve seen in a Vatican-approved document the suggestion that discernment about whether a gay man may enter the seminary cannot be determined simply by his sexual orientation, said Reverend James Martin, an advocate for the church softening its stance on gay Catholics.
"My reading of this — and it is only my reading is that if a gay man is able to lead an emotionally healthy chaste and celibate life, he may be considered for admission to the seminary," he added.
The guidelines were adopted by the Italian Bishop's Conference this past November. They were approved by the Vatican and have now gone into effect for a period trial of three years.

I, myself, am very glad that the Trumps were at the funeral. I think we need opportunities to SEE the contrast between normal, decent behavior and how they operate; and what better way than to have them sit side by side in front of the whole world and display their crassness. And not that it will sink into his pea brain, but sitting through the eulogies for a decent man who transcended politics and personal gain and through his life of hard work and honesty has won the esteem of the world, was good for Trump to have to hear. And I hope it hurt to hear the words and reflections of actual Christians, as opposed to his followers (I loved both Andrew Young's actual voice and his reflections). If Trumps actually knows the words to the Lord's Prayer, he probably didn't dare utter them lest he burst into flames…..
