Not sure who would really laugh since what is done to them is also done to us, but on the other hand — I can't help but think they are getting what THEY voted for. That in hindsight they seemed amazed and truly surprised is just a fact of life to me. They had the same information for the most part that I had.

ANYONE who ever thought they were truly safe — last time or this time has brain cell malfunction syndrome.

And if that is the case — lets really go for fair share and then see what can be done.

BREAKING: War hero Senator Tammy Duckworth torches Trump for stabbing our brave veterans in the back by gutting Veterans Affairs: "Donald Trump has fired more veterans than any other president in our recent history."

And she was just getting warmed up...

"Well what they're calling 'non-mission critical,' I think you and I and the average American would disagree with them that these are 'non-mission critical,'" said Duckworth on CNN.

Duckworth served as a combat helicopter pilot in Iraq and lost both of her legs when her Black Hawk was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade. She is a recipient of the Purple Heart, an Air Medal, and an Army Commendation Medal.

She served as the Assistant Secretary of Veterans Affairs under President Obama and serves on the Veterans' Affairs Committee. In other words, she knows this issue inside and out.

"How does a surgeon perform an operation without a surgical nurse? Without a surgical assistant? We're already hearing that surgeries are being cancelled or postponed at the VA," Duckworth continued.

She was discussing the mass layoffs that have rocked the Department of Veterans Affairs thanks to the efforts by Trump and Elon Musk to dismantle our federal government. 1,400 employees were fired yesterday, following 1,000 terminations earlier this month.

All of these layoffs are designed to lay the foundation for more tax cuts for billionaires and corporations. The Republican Party's claim to be "pro-military" is an insulting farce. The only thing they are is pro-greed.

"I have one person who is a crisis hotline supervisor — this is someone who did such a good job they were promoted, now they're training other crisis hotline, the people who answer the phones, they're there with them as they're being trained up to answer the phones — and that person is still laid off," said Duckworth.

"Donald Trump has fired more veterans than any other president in our recent history," she continued. "And this has to stop because these are hard working people and it's really an insult to all of the federal employees who are making sure that the system is running."

"You know some of these folks are people that do claims processing making sure that veterans have access to the benefits that they've earned. They've been laid off," she added.

Unless the American people stand up and demand an end to this, the VA will be completely reduced to ash. In its place, predatory companies will swoop in to reap sweetheart deals from the Trump administration — providing vastly inferior services for higher costs.

BREAKING: RFK Jr. lays the groundwork for a public health crisis of historic proportions as his FDA cancels its crucial annual meeting with the panel of scientific health experts that plans next year's flu vaccinations.

The moment we all feared is finally arriving...

According to The New York Times, the Food and Drug Administration — which falls under RFK Jr.'s purview as Health Secretary — sent an email to the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee informing them of the unceremonious cancellation of the meeting.

No explanation was provided for the cancellation but RFK Jr. is well known for his deeply unscientific anti-vax positions. The meeting had been scheduled for March 13th.

Dr. Paul Offit of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, a member of the committee, warned that the cancellation could interfere with or even delay the production of lifesaving influenza vaccines.

"It’s a six-month production cycle. So one can only assume that we’re not picking flu strains this year," said Dr. Offit.

Flu strains are usually chosen during the F.D.A. meeting which customarily occurs in February or March using data obtained from the World Health Organization.

Of course, Trump ended the United States' relationship with the WHO at the beginning of his administration so the panel would have had their work cut out for them even if the meeting had not been cancelled.

Production of the vaccines is supposed to begin in June but that can't happen until the strains are selected. It's unclear when, if at all, that will happen now.

"The stakes are incredibly high," said Richard Hughes, an attorney for several vaccine makers.

According to C.D.C. numbers, 86 children and 19,000 adults died from the flu this season. Another 430,000 people were hospitalized. If the vaccines are not produced during this cycle, those numbers could skyrocket to record numbers — overwhelming hospitals and leading to mass deaths.

Many people seem to know a nursing home or two they'd rather not have to use —- and yet for so many people it is the only home they have. So maybe if they become deceased because they were kicked out of their only home their death certificate should reflect who the two were that killed them.

BREAKING: Senator Chris Murphy torches Donald Trump and MAGA oligarch Elon Musk in the bluntest of terms, says that they're "stealing from all of us" in order to "enrich their billionaire Mar-a-Lago cabal."

He hit the nail on the head with this one...

"The Trump administration has been about one thing and one thing only: stealing from all of us, stealing from regular people, stealing from poor people, stealing from the middle class in order to enrich their billionaire Mar-a-Lago cabal," Murphy said.

He went on to rip the Republican Party as a whole for the outrageous budget resolution that they passed earlier this week calling for the House Energy and Commerce Committee to cut $880 billion in spending — reductions that will largely have to be carved out of Medicaid.

"You’re talking about $880 billion of cuts to Medicaid. And I get it, like $880 billion, like, what does that mean, right? That’s a huge number," said Murphy.

"Nobody understands. Let me tell you what that means," he continued. "That means that sick kids die in this country. That means that hospitals in depressed communities, in rural communities, close their doors." Murphy is spot on as usual. At the end of the day, the so-called "efficiency" and "cost-saving" efforts of DOGE are geared towards gutting spending to pave the way for massive new tax cuts for the super rich.

Trump and Musk want to make average Americans suffer en masse so that their cronies can buy a few more super yachts and private planes.

MAGA is a massive graft operation unprecedented in American history.

This is a very bad illness that needs an immediate cure.

There has been one child death in Texas and I think there are now nine counties that are suffering from outbreaks. I would like to think some valuable lessons will be learned. No one in this day and age should have to 'suffer' childhood diseases, no one.
