There is nothing like the love of cruelty that Trump and so many of his underlings enjoy and admire in each other. So foreign to most it boggles the ability to even imagine.

BREAKING: Billionaire oligarch Elon Musk comes groveling back to Donald Trump like a dog, says that he "regrets" some of his incendiary remarks about the president because they "went too far."

And it gets even more pathetic...

"I regret some of my posts about President

@realDonaldTrump last week . They went too far," Musk wrote on X.

While he didn't specify which posts he was referring to, it seems safe to presume that he means the one in which he accused Trump of being "in the Epstein files" since he has since deleted that tweet.

Of course, some things simply can't be unsaid. Either Musk was lying outright — in which case he was making light of the heinous sexual abuse of young girls and demonstrating himself to be a shameless liar — or he was telling the truth but is now afraid of the consequences of going up against this administration. In either case, he's a coward and a fraud.

At one point in his X meltdown, Musk also agreed with a post calling for Trump to be impeached and replaced with J.D. Vance. He went scorched earth and is now trying to get his relationship with the White House to spring back to life.

The spineless reversal from Elon comes in the wake of a slew of attacks from MAGA chieftain Steve Bannon, who called for a Special Counsel investigation into Musk's alleged drug use, deportation back to South Africa, and government seizure of his companies like SpaceX.

At the very least, Musk's erratic behavior proves that he cannot be trusted with governmental power. He is acting exactly like the drug addict that The New York Times alleged that he is.

Sobered up and figured out all the perks he had gotten and those and many more that could e removed. He'd better hope that the Loon is in the mood to be somewhat generous of spirit. Likely he will be since he loves Musk money. Stay tuned for the next installment.

Some days there really are no words. These two men were meant for each other. So interesting in a way. Seeing people with so little real education and understanding, but just looney enough to rise to the top. It doesn't have a real lasing quality — or thinking at some point, you do reap what you sow. Or, even the Peter Principle where at some point your own deep incompetence does you in. It's taken and taking more time than I like but I do feel it will indeed arrive and be seen by all.

BREAKING: MAGA world clamors in rage for a Walmart boycott after Christy Walton, daughter-in-law of the company's founder, takes out a splashy full-page ad in The New York Times calling on Americans to attend the anti-Trump "No Kings Day" protests on June 14th.

    And it gets even better...

"We are a people of principle and honor. We honor our commitments and stand by our allies. We defend against aggression by dictators," the ad reads next to an image of the Statue of Liberty.

"We uphold and defend the Constitution," it continues. "We care for our children and veterans. We respect our neighbors and trading partners. We support a healthy national and international economy, community, and environment. We are the world leader trusted to uphold the stability of the rule of law."

"We are the people of the United States of America. The honor, dignity, and integrity of our country are not for sale. Our government is of the people, by the people, for the people," it concludes.

At the bottom of the ad, it clearly states that it was paid for by Christy Walton and that the "views represented here are solely" hers. Of course, MAGA supporters aren't exactly known for their glittering literacy skills so they've turned their ire on Walmart more broadly.

Walmart itself released a statement amidst the backlash saying: "The advertisements from Christy Walton are in no way connected to or endorsed by Walmart. She does not serve on the board or play any role in decision making at Walmart."

It's worth pointing out that nowhere in the ad does it mention Donald Trump by name but since his supporters see him as a king they see "No Kings Day" as implicitly anti-Trump.

One of the more notable MAGA figures to attack Walmart over the ad was failed Arizona gubernatorial and senatorial candidate Kari Lake. She currently serves as Trump's Senior Adviser for the U.S. Agency for Global Media.

"Do you shop at Walmart?" Lake asked on X, sharing a picture of the ad. She was met with an avalanche of Republicans calling for an immediate boycott.

The "No Kings Day" protests are poised to send a powerful message to Donald Trump and will be held on the same day as a fascist military parade that he has planned to celebrate his birthday and the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army.

We know which side we're supporting. What about you?

Left the above the large size it was when I found it. I'm not a huge fan of Walmart because while we have few stores and I need to often use the one we have here they have secured plenty of benefits from the government and not all of them deserved as such.

Still I do have to admire the daughter-in-law of the Walmart founder. Speaking out because she can and will and that is exactly what is needed. People who don't just wait for someone else to fix it. True that she falls heir to all the benefits that the Walton family get, but she is not afraid to 'speak' and 'share' HER truth.

One wonders how many of the rage-filled Maga shop all the time at a Walmart store. How easy to be mad, but while I don't agree with Maga one whit, and this time around even a lot more so than before, I do agree that a person is entitled to 'see' things as they do. Just like Christy Walton. If they choose to shop elsewhere for a bit, so be it. Would be nice though for them to see that the store itself is not making any judgement — even if in their hearts they may agree with Ms. Walton. If you are going to be mad it would be nice to pick out the right entity. Sigh !!!

Glad to see someone is reading up on the things I post. Some are good ( my view) and some are so-so. Just sort of dependent likely on how you yourself are feeling at any given time. I few I even question but often put them in anyway just because it may give people more to consider and think about.

As is the case here — we are such a tiny town — I think around 12,000 or so, perhaps a bit less even, so I have not planned or even asked if anyone is doing anything. I think generally it is a rarity. We have our share of diversity here, but you can never be sure which way things may go. The only time I was aware of anyone doing anything here was when the Tea party got it's big start several yrs. ago.

I would not mind joining in a protest against the Loon and his birthday party but I don't think anyone here would bother. People really seem as though they do not want to advertise in any way their political affiliation and that is why they don't generally bother to show up. I have friends and I have no idea which 'side' they are on and at this late date — I'd just as soon, not know. No point in being almost 80 and starting to build an enemies list. Hopefully, by not asking and or anything else we are all doing each other a favor. Peace has worked so far, so no need to upset the cart now.

I hope you can make this bigger. It was so big when I make it large it seemed sort of awful although you could in fact read the above much better.

Things look so good for Trump’s ridiculous military parade they literally have to advertise they’ll pay people to be in attendance via a Craigslist ad.

That’s small d*** energy if I’ve ever seen it.

I am definitely amused that they are hoping to get takers in the seats and willing to pay if you do. That said, I would want the money in hand first I think. I don't trust that bunch any farther then even the smallest one could be thrown.

I am also not one bit surprised. We do not have military might parades — not our style at all and just from that I'd look on it as most people not one bit interested. We all know the Loon is easily impressed so seeing one of Putin's parades was quite the thrill. Putin may have needed to assurance himself but none of our 'good' presidents have felt they needed to prop up the machismo. The Loon — oh my —- he needs way , way more than a couple of tanks etc.

I think one of the sad parts of all this — all this time, effort, and funds will be used on a man who is so mentally gone and ill that in short order whatever thrill he may feel as it is going on (this parade) will soon evaporate because none of his 'good' feelings last for long and he is once again empty and despondent because of it. He is incapable of happiness and positive instances — they last very briefly, if he has them much at all. And we will all be subjected to this pure and total idiocy.

BREAKING: Donald Trump gets jaw-dropping news as the entire 12-person Fulbright Scolarship board quits in protest due to the MAGA administration's illegal political interference in their operations.

This is an academic bombshell of historic proportions...

"Effective immediately, members of the Congressionally mandated Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board voted overwhelmingly to resign from the board, rather than endorse unprecedented actions that we believe are impermissible under the law, compromise U.S. national interests and integrity, and undermine the mission and mandates Congress established for the Fulbright program nearly 80 years ago," the board wrote in its official statement.

The Fulbright scholarship program is one of our nation's most prestigious and helps fund foreign exchanges for brilliant American students while bringing distinguished foreign scholars, students, and artists to the United States.

The program is technically overseen by the State Department which is currently run by spineless MAGA hatchet man Marco Rubio. According to the board, this administration has "usurped the authority" afforded to them.

The State Department canceled roughly 200 scholarships for American researchers to work abroad, constituting a gross overreach of power in pursuit of partisan right-wing aims. An additional 1,200 scholarships to foreign nationals are currently under review.

"We believe these actions not only contradict the statute but are antithetical to the Fulbright mission and the values, including free speech and academic freedom, that Congress specified in the statute," the board wrote.

"It is worth noting that the awards that were overridden include studies in categories such as biology, engineering, architecture, agriculture, crop sciences, animal sciences, biochemistry, medical sciences, music, and history," they added.

The insinuation of Trump's ideology into the Fulbright program is part of a broader agenda to undermine academia, promote ignorance, and foment xenophobia.

The State Department's public diplomacy office sent rejection letters to scholars based on MAGA aversion to their research topics. Not coincidentally, the diplomacy office is run by suspected white nationalist Darren Beattie, who has stated that "competent white men must be in charge if you want things to work."

According to The New York Times, the board was also understandably concerned about Rubio's budget proposal which would gut funding for the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs from $691 million to $50 million. The Fulbright program falls under said Bureau.

"Our resignation is not a decision we take lightly. But to continue to serve after the Administration has consistently ignored the Board’s request that they follow the law would risk legitimizing actions we believe are unlawful and damage the integrity of this storied program and America’s credibility abroad," the board wrote.

"Indeed, the erosion of the Fulbright program weakens America and our national security interests. Institutions and the rule of law matter and have distinguished our country for almost 250 years. As a Board, we are proud of our stewardship of the program, the way we’ve worked to uphold its mission, integrity, and adherence to the law," they continued.

"It is our sincere hope that Congress, the courts, and future Fulbright Boards will prevent the administration’s efforts to degrade, dismantle, or even eliminate one of our nation’s most respected and valuable programs. Injecting politics and ideological mandates into the Fulbright program violates the letter and spirit of the law that Congress so wisely established nearly eight decades ago," they concluded.

IAM DEEPLY FLAGERGASTED, but I do think all the Fulbright board was correct to handle things this way and I'm proud that the stood up for their beliefs. I wish more would do the same.

I do not feel much surprise at all. They are Loon's goons and will do anything, even if illegal. Why should they care if they have the Loon's protections. I do hope though that these things are going to cause them the hell they deserve. I don't think the goons are going to be winning friends and influencing people — unless of course it's the opposite way.
