I would add Teachers to the list of people who should be offered vaccinations before politicians.

I was once an active member here, long before the Ruthbru-Sandy crowd. “My” group mostly departed to FB and after that never felt very welcome here. Turns out the group I followed to FB were solidified by an actual get together, in person, so I was not well connected to that group either—hey, maybe it’s me?

No matters..hi to Trill and Illinois Lady. Not sure if Trill is around. (Second post in a week.)

I've just been so worried! Afraid for my brother in Nashville! He just moved to Maybelle Carter Senior Living, with his wife Janie who gets dialysis 3 times a week. I talked to him Christmas Eve... Just left Janie in the Hospital, because of her pain. I tried to call him yesterday.... and today.... and nothing!

Then I called the Home, and that guy told me the explosion knocked out the cell towers, and AT&T .... So I am just feeling so bad about all of this! They just moved there! Cleaning out his home, and moving where he has more help.... One of his friends on FB posted, and she knows all about the outages.... GOD! what is WRONG with people???

Nashville is in my prayers.... ScaredSad

Quinn, I am thrilled you have returned. I was sorry you quit coming. I am terrible on Face Book and generally only stayed on it for my kids so I was never able to keep up with those I felt a kinship with when their move to Face Book was made. I taught myself most of what I can do on the computer and had never been on a blog until I got cancer. For some reason I've been able to keep up here pretty well, but Face Book, My Space, Twitter -- all of those pretty much eluded my ability. I guess just SOME things are meant to be. Welcome Home for how ever long you stay, but Pssst. I hope it is a good long while.

(((((Chevy))))Praying with you, and thinking though it will take longer than we like, hopefully the cell towers will be restored quickly just for the people there and relatives just like you who won't feel decent until they can hear from their loved ones personally.

Something of a wow factor there since if I read correctly, the fraudulent votes actually went to Trump. So, Dan Patrick should pay up.

A friend of mine in Kentucky close to Lexington said her ATT cell service went down from the Nashville blast. News article said an ATT office was close by, took out a lot of towers. Hope to have restored soon. I have ATT, was not affected.image

Trump Must Be Investigated for Corrupt Pardons

    Posted: 26 Dec 2020 02:51 PM PST

Laurence Tribe: Donald Trump's recent twisting of the pardon power risks leaving a damaging legacy: a blueprint for manipulating this vestige of royal prerogative to place presidents and their cronies above the law. But a remedy exists: investigation and potential prosecution. We must treat any obstructions of justice we uncover as the crimes they are. ... If Trump has used his pardon power to commit crimes, he must be prosecuted; failing to do so would set a perilous precedent for future administrations. In future investigations of presidential misconduct, essential witnesses might routinely protect the boss in hopes of (or in exchange for) immunity. Worse yet, future presidents could treat their terms in office as four-year licenses to commit heinous crimes with impunity.image

Hi Ladies...hope you all have had a nice couple of days.... I am freezing my ass off here in Baltimore...it's 24 out there now and my kitty and I are snuggled up together..wish I had her fur coat!

I'm gonna send a PM to Quinn--I did mention to her here that I'm still here but guess she missed it...will drop her a line..am glad to see her avatar---I've always loved it and her art....

I hope Trump meets his maker soon and that it's a painful, protracted process……Holding off on signing this bill is beyond shitty…He has NO interest in giving people more $$—the ostensible reason for not signing—he's just seeking to put others in the same pain that he's in. I swear to God I think he's that juvenile and it's that uncomplicated....

Sorry, Donald, you've failed bigly this time--and as seen by billions of people and as will be permanently remembered by History.

    And you are not loved.

    You have not earned it.

And I am not Jesus Christ who will love you regardless.

And your followers don't love you—they're too blind, deaf, and dumb to truly love.

    And you know it.

And you unfortunately are just smart and aware enough to know the sham you are and the huge non-sham that has happened to you and to which the world is witness.

And that pain will NEVER end.

    Thank God!

Er, no, scratch that——> thank the 81 million who voted to run your ass out of town!

I think it's ironic that the GOP is getting a good sour taste of you, that the bill that the Repubs are proud of, (you know they are--stingy enough $-wise re the stimulus checks to satisfy their Scrooge hearts), worked hard to get together so the light would shine brighter on them after the shade thrown by your dismal failure and the stupidity of your baseless claims, etc is now hanging there in space, in limbo because you came along

    --and screwed them right back!

They're just getting some of what the rest of us have been getting from you for four years.

They allowed your corruptness to go on and enabled your charade of an administration and now you throw their bill under the bus……

This time you've fucking earned each other.

You go, Trill. You hit the nail on the head. Perhaps some of his base will be hit in the pocket and while I do not think this will change their thought processes, it might give them pause. He's golfing and living it up at Mar-a-Lago while they are trying to pay bills, pay rent, put food on the table, etc. Pathetic excuse for a human being. May he rot in hell.

I think Catholics believe in Limbo. Which is neither heaven, or hell. May he rot there.

And I’m sure a lot of his sheeple who voted for him are wondering what happened.

And it was 41 when I woke up this am. Kind of chilly for golf, anywhere in Florida.

When we're helping other people, we're nourishing our soul. Depression or unhappiness means we've got the wrong goal. We have forgotten that peace of mind is our only goal. By concentrating on helping another person, we renew contact with our soul and with God. We can feel peaceful again. . . . Peace of mind has nothing to do with the external world; it has only to do with our connection with God. Love really is the answer. We're here only to teach love. When we're doing that, our souls are singing and dancing. When we remind ourselves that we are spiritual beings, that life and love are the flame eternal, that's when our soul is nourished.

Trill and Spookie and everyone. I am with you all. Trump is having a high ole' time dishing out what he sees as payback. So disheartning with all the needs that are not being met and Pres.-elect Biden knows the disaster that will result. Only someone mentally challenged would operate like this. So foolish and stupid. Trump is doing so much that will defeant his own party although -- did he ever have one. His feelings, words, needs, ideas, or all there ever were and I think in the sense of party -- any one or none would do.

I do think his current 'bashing' will have a large effect on those who voted for him this time. Not all, because many are as mentally unstabe as he, but many will see that he has disdain for them and cares not one whit. It is still hard to fathom totally why they could have felt differently. So many were sucked into the vortex, but there is self preservation -- and a lot of theirs has now been taken away. He is not taking care of them -- but only himself and his super fragile ego. They are no better off today then since the day Trump first set foot in the Oval Office -- but he talked such a good game for them that they were able to hold on until now when they find out he is a weak, disabled, uncaring individual that actually is a failure. He does not produce -- he consumes, and they are now a part of the flames as he does so. Good luck to them, but as for his actions -- I'm concerned with my survival and the survival of those around who are trying to be rational with democracy.

Whatever the Reps. may suffer -- as Trill so eloquently said, they have earned big time as the Trump cadre of enablers. You and Trump were all too happy to let Putin be in charge while our way of life in the U.S. crumbled so I have little mercy to give, but only great sorrow that your greed and avarice meant more to you than freedom. Talk about a completely lopsided trade. I hope the rest of your days are spent in deep regret for the huge error in judgement that made you feel you could get away with this, and that is what the U.S. was ready for because you weren't even close.

So may thoughts when I saw this. If we were as 'fantastic' as the other side seems to like to say we are -- why did we have to endure a full four yrs. of the orange lunatic. I mean, they are giving us some weird credit for ruining the election and making Trump lose -- so why did we endure all we have and wait to the last minute to rid ourselves of the orange abomination. They in truth are the sorest losers and the sorriest ones ever.
