Apparently Trump won't take calls from even his closest allies. Some staffers didn't go in today because of what they feared, others are taking about resigning. He is the only one who would have a chance of stopping this with no more violence. What the hell can be his endgame at this point?

Senator Tammy Duckworth is talking on CBS now saying someone had the presence of mind to grab the electoral votes as they were being evacuated and the Dem Senators are all in favor of reconvening tonight still taking care of the electoral vote! She sounds very strong and determined...and even calm!

Not why I joined the military long ago either. How shameful. Those participating ( including all Reps. enablers ) should face punishment's -- to include VERY lg. fines. Trump went on tv to morn that even though all knew that it was a stolen and fraudulent election the people outside the Capital had to go home -- knowing damn well they wouldn't. He is s savage, evil person. I think he has likely destroyed the Reps. party now. He may go but he is going to take as many down with him -- no matter which side. What an abomination. I am not surprised by what is going on, and won't be if it gets much worse. This is what Trump wants, the man worships dictators.
However, it is still surreal and I am worried for the safety of everyone inside the capitol who actually belong there. The breach was too easy... How do we know if they don't have much worse plans they are working on carrying out right now?
