We have a right to know it all anyway. It is really just confirmation for what we already knew was likely the case. While I disagree vehemently with the right, there are some brain cells on that side. That why they all flash on how to get and keep GREEN backs.

About Trump's base, I had a puke worthy moment a couple weeks ago at water aerobics. The lifeguard, an older woman, made a comment about liberals and conservatives. Usually I don't respond, but I mentioned I was a liberal. This quickly led to a short discussion in which I made the remark, “Republicans are anti-women." The lifeguard wanted to argue the point and I said, “I'm just here for the exercise." Conversation done. But one old lady exerciser piped in and said “Oh, Melania, she is just so beautiful!" And several others in the class started agreeing. I simply walked away from them and got out of the pool. I could not bear to hear crap about Mrs who gives a f**k about Christmas. I later got back in the pool and no one said a word. The following week, the same woman who thinks Mel is beautiful said she didn't see why Prince Harry had to marry a Negro. I walked away from her and will be keeping my distance from her from now on! It is unnerving to be among racists! She is a little old white lady who looks like she could be Tammy Faye Baker's cousin!

Divine -- so enjoyed your post. I got a kick out of what the water aerobics ladies think about MEL because seeing the side we do I can assure THOSE ladies they wouldn't get the time of day from her let alone a beautiful compliment. What is it about the land of un-reality that so enchants these women. I can only say, 'lord, I couldn't live like that'.

Divine: must say you were kind in holding your liberal tongue when dealing with that particular moron. Not sure I could do the same. Used to ask if a particular numbskull's brain cells were held together by a spirochete and someone administered penicillin. (Note spirochetes are susceptible to penicillin). They never got the insult but damn I felt good. Racist and sexist as well that chippy.
As far as Moscow Mitch, I would not be disappointed if he suffers from post-concussion syndrome and has to retreat to his state. His retirement is long overdue because he is racist, sexist and too attached to the past for this thinking.

Perfect. Hubby and I were talking this morning about what his sooooo Reps. brother would think of Fox News now. He may, due to a number of factors, actually listen to some (but certainly not enough) news from other sources then Fox, but in the end. he will find some reason why Fox is still the go to news,.
It will always be the oddest thing to me that were I to lie to my BIL, I'd never hear the end of it, but there is little concern over "news" content that is a daily dose always. One of the biggest reasons we here made a rule when dealing with the in-laws that there would be no real political talk. They defy sanity and reason when it comes to their news, and I think almost never turn on anything but the Fox channel. Seems like when the channel is the worst or harshest (like right now with the Carlson stupidity) we will hear from BIL that he is not watching the news at all these days. I say he is but for sure doesn't want to answer any queries from anyone on why he is still cheering on someone who lies to him. There are just some things you can't talk about.
