Love those memes. Oh what it takes to try and maintain some balance in the topsy-turvy world of Democrats trying so hard to do right and Reps. who are just sitting around and doing crazy by boatloads and then some. Happy and uplifting on the one hand and irreverently.hilartious on the other. Seems so long now (and is) since the balance was a bit more even.
Well, I think I will just keep on as I am and I hope all of you do too.

Good ole Fox News and it sounds like there are people who are wondering if Carlson really was lying when he said he HATED the Loon passionately. Odd, that when the truth is told in a deposition, some on the right think lies are still being told. Guess in that case, for them everything can be a lie -- and any difference in what is said, is just a matter of where the application best fits. I would say how strange, but the right side has become stranger than fiction to me these last few Rep. cycles.

- LOS ANGELES -- Robert Blake, the Emmy award-winning performer who went from acclaim for his acting to notoriety when he was tried and acquitted in the killing of his wife, died Thursday at age 89. A statement released on behalf of his niece, Noreen Austin, said Blake died from heart disease, surrounded by family at home in Los Angeles.
I really enjoyed him in the roles that he had. Loved his depiction of " In Cold Blood " which was a book written by Truman Capote, and really liked him as "Baretta:. Still, I thought he really did shoot his wife or had it doneeven though his jury found him innocent.

Ahh…the Ides of March! My grandfather was born on that day, and my mom would always mention the Ides of March, tho in a fun way. Still, I think Orange Thingy will skate on through every last charge ever brought against him, sad to say.
Life’s been a bit busier for me lately (for one thing, dh will be retiring in a few months and we are sort of gearing up for that) but I still read this thread every day. Even if I’m not posting here, I still love all the memes, opinions and conversations! As I often say, ya’ll help me keep my sanity as I live in a nauseatingly conservative area!
One reason for popping in this morning is to share the following message from the Mods that has been posted on the forum. I want to make sure as many people see it as possible. Please spread the word.

We're very close to the launch of our new community forums! The conversations that have been shared here over the past 20 years will be waiting for you in the new forums.
During this migration, which will begin on March 12 and end approximately on March 23, all newly created threads and posts will need to be moved by the mods to the new forum through a manual copy and paste process.
Unfortunately, we can't migrate private messages you send and the threads you favorite during the migration period. Please copy and paste any private messages you'd like to save for yourself in a separate document, and write down any favorites you want to bookmark in the new forums.
We thank you for continuing to be patient with us through this process. We're doing our best to make sure all conversations continue and pick back up where you left off on the new forums very soon!

Okay, here's an update on the update from the Mods:
TO BE CLEAR:
The only PMs you should consider saving and the only Favorites you make that you should track are ONLY the PMs you send and receive during the migration period and the threads you favorite during the migration period. The migration period is Sunday 3/12-Wed 3/23.
PMs sent and received prior to 3/12 and threads you Favorited prior to 3/12 will be waiting for you in the new Community.

Many thanks for the clarification, Ruth. I was already sweating what to do about all my pm's etc. I don't expect to get many during this migration time period when the switch is made, so I think I will be okay. Wonderful to find out that us non-nerds will not lose things we value.

Divine, there does sound to be a fair possibility that Bragg could charge Trump and that he would get only probation and NOT go to jail. In any case, he is going to continue on with his fake campaign. His hard-core group would truly wither if he didn't since they still live in the Loon lies and will never accept anything contrary.
I do think though that some of the other items, about 4 or 5 in total will have the power to actually bring jail time. I just think that by the time it may happen the Loon mentality will be so far gone there will not be a TRUE sensation of loss for the orange abomination. That said, I do not think souls like his can ever go right, so even if he doesn't end up senseless, he would not learn so as to the possibility of becoming a better person would be possible.
Dammed no matter which way. Sigh !!!
