And she has every right. He wanted her in jail so bad, but even them the Reps. in charge could not find any provable reason to do it.

Just finished reading Westen's manifesto on The Loon's psychopathology. He lays out the depths of his disorders with examples of why the pattern fits and why we should believe every word he says about seeking retribution for perceived slights. A very telling if not lengthy treatise. Should be required reading for every moronic repugnican congressman/senator.

I read that his bond was $200,000 and you have to put up 20% so that was $20,000. I didn’t quite understand but somehow or another he’s going to lose that $20,000. rather than just post the $200,000 bail apparently he doesn’t have that much money that he can put his orange the little fingers on.

I also read that he’s not considered a flight risk because his plane is not equipped to fly across the Atlantic apparently it won’t hold enough fuel or it’s not somehow it’s it wouldn’t make it across so he couldn’t go and if he did try to commercial they would pull his passport before he ever got on the plane

Which plane does he use to fly to Scotland?

I'd a happy to contribute to his Fleeing The Country Fund. As long as he surrendered his passport on the way out and could never, ever return.

What I don’t understand is how there is a tape recording of Donald saying all he needs is 11,780 votes. He is plain flat out saying it. How can he not be in prison for that? I don‘t understand how Nixon ended up resigning from office but Trump has a maga base who continie to support him. Spiro Agnew ended up resigning for….what, I forget. But nothing near as serious as Donald. Who was the Democrat candidate who derailed his campaign due to being over exuberant with a speech? Oh, Howard Dean. Over exhuberant. Yet Trump goes on.

Agnew was a corrupt Baltimore governor. He continued to take kickbacks even when he was VP. I think he was convicted of tax evasion.

That was Agnew. We have never been completely free of those who take some sort of un-fair advantage in Washington and in varying parts of our government all the way up. One of the major differences was Trump who many of our end knew from the get-go as a con man and not fit to hold the reins of power. How many times Hilary Clinton told us — but never let it be said the Reps. were going to let her get away with that.

Also, the big difference with Trump was that he ALWAYS saw the American people as stupid and inept while he was brilliant and daunting to us. Or so he thought, and so often he did and said things that gave his game away —- just like the ignorant phone call to Georgia. We could say for that part, we were lucky, but the other part — where the Reps. have lost their minds over him has continued to keep this orange abomination in our face and in our news and here we are. Three yrs. after his BIG loss to Biden and it is like we are still waiting for him to leave the Wh.

I'm glad that we don't rush to judgement too quickly, but I have to say — having the orange thing sitting almost right next to you at this late date is really hard to take.

Well we know how he sees himself, don't we Ruth. — if he could only see what we see, he might really go on a diet and do some real exercise.

Spookiesmom - 20% of $200,000 is $40,000. I believe that is the amount paid to a bail bondsman who then put up the $200,000$ to get Trump out of jail. So I think Trump or some flunky who actually paid, is out $40,000 and the bondsman will be out $160,000 if Trump does not make court appearances etc. If he does what he is supposed to do regarding the court, the bail bondsman gets his $200,000 back from the Court. Do you not read Janet Evanovich's books about Stephanie Plum who works for a Bail Bond Agency? I would love to read a book where Stephanie Plum and Lula went after Trump who was skipping court appearances……

I am horrible with math. I probably read it wrong and I put that in earlier today when I was half asleep and as for the plane I never gave that a thought so I guess that article on the plane was wrong because I suppose he does take his plane to Scotland. Also saw an article where he’s transferred ownership of mar mar Largo to Junior I guess that’s a trust so it can’t be seized as assets. I’m going to do something similar with my house with my daughter to keep it out of probate. It’s called a lady bird trust after Mrs. Johnson, you can’t do it in all states, but it’s legal in Florida, so I don’t know the house will remain mine, but after I die, she won’t have to deal with probate and all the mess with that

Spookie I'm not good with math either and I heard several times on MSNBC the figure of 20 % referred to as $20,000.00 so we may be in good company. Fact is — I took their word for it. 10% would be $20.000.00 I sure can't point fingers at those on the right for just listening to the Loon and not checking. I was doing the same thing with the bail money. Shame on me.

I also read and it could really be this way, that the Loon doesn't have the bond money just laying around. Anyone as rich as he, even owing that you would have a lot of your money tied up in properties and other things of that nature still should have a bank account laying around somewhere with enough money to be able to stay away from a bail bondsman.

Trump is going to have to put up $40,000 to buy the services of a bail bondman and it is money he won't get back. The bail bondsman will get all the money he put up back, plus have Trump's $40,000 so bondsman out nothing.

That is Trump living up to and past the hilt. No wonder he is grifting in every way possible. He's only rich on paper while having almost no money.

I think he only had to pay 10% to the bail bondsman which would be $20,000.00 and I bet the guy will kiss his money good-bye since he doesn't pay his lawyers so why should he pay someone like a bail bondsman?

Ruth, I would also contribute to the fund to have him leave if he can never return.

However much his bail bond is $20 or $40,000, the bail bondsman probably got the money - they are accustomed to dealing with CRIMINALS and GRIFTERS!!!
